Nima made her way down the path, yer feet increasingly getting colder. "Should have changed the wrappings first I guess."She mumbled as she started to feel the mud seep between her toes. Meaning she was getting closer to the wave country. She pressed her toes harder in, running faster.

On her way back from the first part of the exam Kairi stopped outside of the village to train. Moving off of the path she walked into a small pond area surrounded by a circular wall of trees.
As she stood in front of the pond she looked through the book that her father left behind. Browsing up and down she noticed a simple but complex jutsu that she wished she had learned a long while ago.
Putting the book away she readied herself to perform the technique. Concentrating her efforts on building up her chakra, Kairi did a few hand signs to conjure a Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu. As it began to form it almost instantly dissolved.
After time and time of failures Kairi noticed that her jutsu was beginning to improve. Seeing all of the mistakes she had been making she understood what she had to do but didn't really know how. With every try the jutsu grew better and better until finally she got it down.

After taking a break from training Kairi sat next to the pond and read her fathers suiton book of jutsu. Going through each page she saw many different jutsus but for the moment two of them caught her eyes. The two jutsu were Suikusari no Jutsu and Suiton: Shokushu Rendan Kyouran.
Putting up the book Kairi got up and stood the opposite way of the pond getting ready to perform the jutsu. Molding her chakra into the pond she began to attempt the first jutsu on her list. Execution a few hand signs she tried the Suikusari no Jutsu.
As it began to form the chains went out and tied onto a nearby tree but the chains were so weak and bridal that they did not last longer than five to ten seconds at a time. Seeing this Kairi gave the jutsu a few more tries, and with each tries adding more chakra into it to keep it stable.
Seeing as how it made more of a difference she added more water into the mix making the jutsu even stronger. With the two mixtures together she noticed that she had to find command ground with it. With each try getting better and better it seemed to be coming along. Giving it one more try Kairi took in a deep breath and performed the jutsu one last time. As it began to form it all ended in success.
Even though she had a already set list of jutsu she was gonna learn there was one that would benefit in two ways. The jutsu was called Mizu Kagami no Jutsu and it is a very simple E rank jutsu to use. The jutsu allowed the user to create a mirror so from any amount of water they chose and it could be used to see what's happening behind you. Barely any effort she manipulated the water and watched it form into a full body mirror.

While training Kairi got a message from a hawk telling her that the exams were about to start in a few hours. For her that was enough time to learn two or three more really strong jutsu. Pulling out her father’s ninjutsu book again she saw the jutsu from earlier, Suiton: Shokushu Rendan Kyouran.
After reading up on it she moved over to the pond again to ready herself to try and perform the jutsu. Lifting her arms she did a few hand signs. From behind her the water from the pond began to rise up and start to morph itself it 8 tentacles. But as the shapes were forming the jutsu immediately broke down.
Kairi tried it again and again trying to see if she could at least create one tentacle from the jutsu. Doing a few hand signs she tried to create just one and it seemed to com e out perfect. Even though it was only one for her it was a start.
Slowly she added more chakra enabling her to create more tentacles. One by one she created them. In the end she was only able to create seven but it was only because she was still getting the hang of it and she just needed more practiced time.
So for a half an hour she practiced the jutsu with only seven tentacles until she was fluent enough to create them with ease. Feeling a little comfortable about this she attempted to finish the jutsu by adding the eighth tentacle. With no pressure and a lot of faith she did the hand sighs and watched as all eight tentacles formed in front of her.
Later she remembered she learned called the Mizu Kagami no Jutsu earlier and there was one jutsu that went great for a move like that. The jutsu was Mizu Kagami no Jutsu and it was like Mizu Bunshin but these clones were more human
Facing the pond she used the Mizu Kagami no Jutsu to create a full body mirror to float in front of her. As it stood in front of her, she formed the necessary hand signs and watched as the jutsu would come out correctly.
As it began to come out of the mirror it immediately fell to the ground. As it jumped up to its feet the Kairi clone smiled at the real Kairi. “Um, Hi” she said to it waving, but all it did was gruel. Pinching it she caused it to dissolve back into water.
Giving it a second try, it seemed this clone was smarter than the last one she had made. “Can you speak” she reluctantly asked. The clone gave her a nice humble smile saying, “Of course I can silly I’m you.” With a sigh of relief Kairi jumped back into a fighting stance. “Well come on” she said to her clone. As she head over to her the clone fell to the ground screaming. “What’s wrong” Kairi asked as she stopped her attack. The clone gave her a soft look saying, “I can’t fight.”
Upset that her last few tries were nearly perfect Kairi was starting to get a little disappointed but she realized that she came too far to quit. With nothing to lose she tried it one last time. This time as the clone came from within the mirror Kairi stood analyzing “Can you fight and talk” she asked. The clone smiled jumping into the area and attempted to roundhouse kick her. The real dodged it and hit her with a shuriken. “Good.”

"I did alot of training between each part of the exam here" the thought looking down the road. Suddenly it hit her that on the way out she would have to pass her parent's grave and thought she should pay her respects before leaving.

"Dammit!" He grumbled, the seal he had placed on himself vanished, though it was good for getting them this far with the weight. Ichiro, and Ikumen... so small, but so heavy! What were they ebing fed anyways!? He pushed the thought from his mind and headed towards the gates.

Kirin flew through the outskirts quickly, he was in such a hurry to get home! He wanted to see his family and friends badly.

Brigand appeared in a burst of smoke, awaiting someone to approach him. With war looming, his position as an implant vendor had great prospects of wealth in the near future. And, if his sources were correct, then the Snow villagers would be heading towards the Mist...meaning this was a great place to set up and earn some money for the time being.

He thought as he kept walking towards the Mist village. Now that his village was destroyed, they were instructed to stay there for the time being. So yeah, one of the reasons he's here is because of it. As he approached further inside, he saw a strange looking man, who seemed as if he were waiting on someone. "Oh, I remember him now.. He was there as an implant and curse mark seller from the Chuunin Exams." Meran came closer to the man and asked him a question. "Excuse me, but by any chance are you still selling implants?" Nodding, Brigand did a short set of hand signs and in a burst of smoke...an operating table and a guide on what kind of implants were available. "Yes, young shinobi. In a coming war, a mere 1600 ryo is a small price to pay when you can enhance yourself...it could save your life, maybe even your friends lives. What would you like?" He removed some rather dangerous looking tools and smiled, "Fair warning though, it won't be painless."

This wasn't from the heat, he was a bit scared as he picked up the guide and sat on the operating table after handing over the Ryo recieved from the mission to the Land of Iron to Brigand.
