"Damn fool..." Kazuo cursed. Any man who hides behind pawns was not truly a man in his eyes. And to make it worse, the idiot took souls that have undoubtedly served their time already and made them into his slaves. And he flaunted that in front of Kazuo. No, Jesse was no man, nor was he a leader. If he were a leader then he would have been backing his men up, not ordering them around. Kazuo came from a long line of Chikara's who all served their Kingdom in the same way Kazuo himself does. When a battle occurs, he usually tries to be there with his men and fights beside them as equals. Kazuo was a war prince, and that was something that would never change. Damn Jesse's good will? Ignore Jesse's 'noble' use of 'damned' souls? There were no 'damned' men in Kazuo's watch. They were noble while they lived, and they all died in the same manner. They didn't need to pull overtime. They deserved to rest after serving their country. Jesse showed him no good will. And with Jesse's last words...it drove the final nail into the b*****d's coffin. However Kazuo simply didn't have time to deal with Jesse at the moment. The infected took up the space where the knights used to be, "Now that the distractions are gone..." He said. He can move freely now that those cumbersome knights were not deflecting every motion he made with his lance, "Don't kill...knock out..." He muttered, like he was issuing a command to his lance. He swiped it at two infected and they dropped unconscious with only light scratches.

INDENTAs Jesse's dread knights disappeared, Alfred found the gaps in the armies quickly filled by infected. "Gah! What! No!" he said as he found himself surrounded by enemies again, all out for his blood. Spells began flashing light crazy around Alfred as he tried to thin the number of enemies around him so he wouldn't take as many hits, but it wasn't working so well. Apparently as he'd been fighting, he had managed, with the help of Jesse's knights, to fight a bit of the way into the infected army, and when Jesse's knights vanished it left him stranded among the enemy ranks. Not only that, but Alfred was beginning to become worn out from all the casting. Never before had he cast this many spells in this quick succession.
INDENTThere was one thing Alfred could think of doing though. Although he was fairly worn out, he did have the energy to cast one or two of his major spells. A card flew to Alfred's hand and he pressed it to the ground, causing thick vines to suddenly sprout from the ground around him and wrap themselves around the nearby soldiers, immobilizing them. That would buy him enough time to use his second most powerful spell, and he wasted none in preparing it. Five cards suddenly flew from the halo behind him and formed themselves in a massive circle to the left of him, facing into the infected army. Magic arced between the five cards and a magical symbol appeared connecting them for a few moments before a portal appeared. Massive claws reached out and grabbed the edge of the portal as the head of an elder dragon appeared out of the portal. The dragon opened its mouth and unleashed a plume of fire on the enemy army, incinerating more than Alfred could count, before it withdrew its head and claws and the portal closed, causeing the cards to fly back to Alfred.
INDENTThe casting of that particular spell was costly though, and it left Alfred feeling a bit weak and unwary of his surrounding for a few moments. Unfortuately that was all the time the enemy soldiers needed. One of the soldiers Alfred did not decimate ran up while he was still recovering and shoved a sword right through his stomach and out the back of his young body. Alfred gasped in surprise, stunned for a few moments before he recovered enough to slice off the head of the infected that had attacked him. He stumbled back and pulled the sword out of his stomach, blood splattering the ground as he looked down at his stomach. Of course his clothes were so stained his blood already that even he couldn't tell exactly where the wound was just by looking. Well Alfred had been hoping to avoid using his most powerful card, but it looked like he would have no choice now. That wasn't exactly a wound he could heal.

The automatons stopped moving for a second as Jessica was surprised to see Jesse disappear with a large number of knights. For a moment or two she pondered why and then stopped upon the realization that the queen and prince were not killing but subduing the infected. "Well Jilin will be interested to hear about this battle now won't he." Till then though she had to change some of the automaton's orders."But your weapons away, subdue the infected do not kill." Suddenly the razor sharp blades the armor had been carrying vanished and the razors along the armor receded. There was nothing for a moment until out of nowhere an automaton decked an infected who came to close and sent him sprawling to the ground, soon this became the pattern as on by one the automatons switched to using their fist as soon as the got near one of the infected souls.

A huge dog sauntered towards Alfred. Its eyes were flames, and it's teeth were like razors, but it clamped onto his collar with exceeding gentleness, and turned to bound through the troops till it had reached the Deralo Lines.

Aoi had been fighting her hardest alone and when she flew into the air, she noticed that the undead army had vanished. "What's going on!? Why did he leave us?" She growled a bit and swooped down to cut down more enemies and when she landed on her feet, she raised a hand into the air as a magic circle spread out around her and sent a huge pillar of fire to rise from the ground. She had made sure to get in the middle of the infected, so that none of the soldiers would get hurt. With Jesse's army gone, they were going to have to work even harder. Once she finished her spell, she rose into the air and flew back to the Deralo line to rest for a few minutes. She would have to start using more magic to wipe out the enemy and she would have to rest often to keep up with it.

"Feora guide me..." Kazuo muttered. He was going to make sure he and his men...his living men...were just at powerful as those undead things were. He was protecting Sapphire and some people near him as well, making himself a formidable foe to the Academy soldiers, "Do you have a plan B? I don't think this is all they have," Kazuo said to Sapphire, who was behind him at that moment. He twirled the lance around and knocked out another five infected.

Something was wrong it seemed that his fight was getting tougher as Jessica lost two automatons to the infected. No she had to remain in control for the moment. The fight had grown tougher since the disappearance of the knights and now it seemed that if there was a harder push they would not last long if they kept subduing rather than killing them all. She had to send a message to Jilin. For a moment she let the automatons fight without her controling them so she could. She gripped her amulet in her small hands and whispered a small message to it asking Jilin for advice.

The situation began to look bleak, even to Kazuo. The second wave of Infected were coming like he predicted. They were much more powerful due to their higher level of magic and their reasonably strong barriers. Then, a spark of light appeared inside Deralo City. Then another, and another. Soon there were hundreds of them, "That feeling..." Kazuo knew what was coming. Death incarnate. PreToria. The Faerie shot over the Deralo army, followed by hundreds of streaks of light. Each light was a Faerie. They didn't stop or even slow down, but they did separate and attack the common enemy. The infected. Kazuo was shocked. Pre was controlling her inversion? Not the other way around? He quickly recovered, "ONWARD MEN!!! VICTORY IS AT HAND!!!" He yelled to try and lift his men's morale. They roared and attacked more vigorously. Kazuo had that special kind of charisma.

His arm in working order again, Jesse stepped from a small whiring vortex of black, his giant blade in one Paw. Every dreadknight in service to him marched in step behind Him. His eyes narrowed as he surveyed the battle, and he turned to his Troops. "Every man of you that takes a hundred heads of the infected, shall have their amulets Removed. You'll be put to rest Proper." He was quiet, but his voice carried through the entire Field. It was the sort of noise that made a grown man piss himself in terror if it came from a being on teh opposite Side. Indeed, the infected army seemed.. nervous, and held back a Bit. He turned, and marched his legions between the Deralo and infected lines, allowing the men of Deralo a repreive from Battle. His great leathery wings beat the air, as he took off towards PreToria. He smiled, as he flew next to her, watching the faeries and the chaos under Them. "I'm glad you could make It."

Sapphire frowned and kept fighting after Jesse left. Kazuo may of just started a war on her kingdom. No, he revealed Jesse's true intents. To him, she is just a low life mortal apparently. She silently praised Kazuo for what he did. Even though now they would have to make up for the lost army. "I have a small plan B, yes." She answered. Suddenly the Faeries shot over and attacked the infected. "But it looks like we won't be needing to resort to that just yet." She said. She had a smile on her face. Seeing something like that can really motivate someone. It did for Sapphire. She fought on against the wrath of the infected.

"Not them again...!" Kazuo yelled when he saw the same knights from before. His lance turned blood red and he swiped at the nearest dreadnight. The lance worked like a reaping weapon of sorts; separating the soul from the body of whatever it inhabits. The knight fell lifeless from just a scratch on its armor, "Sapphire, keep watch on my back. I got this!" He said.
The Faerie army expertly zipped between the infected, incapacitating them as they went. Pre felt Jesse's presence and flew over to him, "Sensei!" She said in surprise.

He watched Kazuo attack his Knights. He grimaced, and used a paw to order them away from Him. As one, they ran directly for the infected, leaving mangled, bloody bodies in their Wake. He grinned, jolting some as several spirits left his body, re-imbuing the fallen knights with Life. He gasped, wondering what had Happened. Then he remembered, the spirits that had filled him during the fight in Deralo Castle. He smiled at his student, who flew over and greeted Him. "I missed you, PreToria."

Pre didn't land, but drifted before him. She had a more savage look to her in the middle of battle, "Are you hurt?" she asked in concern.
