Komori sighed "well.. let me buy that for you then.. maybe this can be my present.."
Ro shook her head "I can get it for myself... besides I'm not done looking yet.."
He blanched "You want more? There can't be that many books you don't already have??"
She froze a moment and frowned "I have to replace some... they got.. destroyed..." And continued browsing the shelves

Komori sighed "Ok.. I'll be in the next store... meet up with me when your ready."
She nodded absently.. already engrossed in looking at another book
He sighed again and walked out.
She glanced up as he left and smiled "Well.. at least I get to look at something fun now. Hmm... wonder how long I can make him wait..."

Azaroth couldn't help but grin. Rowena was certainly something else and naturally he approved how she was dealing with him. It was only fitting after how he'd upset her early. He still couldn't believe that the simpleton was so dense that he failed to notice her discomfort. Selfish little bugger... "I say he comes back pouting in about 10 minutes give or take..."

Ro sighed and continued to look at the books "I wonder how long we have to stay out. Though... I suppose I should be giving him more of a chance... but.. he wanted to take my necklace. That.. was quite rude." She touched the necklace again just to make sure it was still there.

Komori walked in about 20 minutes later "Are you done yet?"
Ro frowned "No." Then sighed "Look.. why don't we just call it a night? Then you can do whatever you want..."
Komori paled "NO! I want to spend time with you... just not surrounded by books..."
She shrugged "I like being surrounded by books. Maybe we'll try again some day... but I think I've had enough date for one night."
He frowned "At least let me walk you home?"
She eyed him then nodded "Alright.. I'll just go pay then."

"He lasted a little longer than I expected..." Azaroth muttered dryly, though he was happy she was finally coming back home. And that little bloodsucker had better not try anything on the way home.

They walked back slowly, more due to Komori's stalling than anything else. He held her hoof most of the way back until they reached her old house "Are you sure I can;t walk you all the way back home? I mean it is kinda late now..."
Ro shook her head "I can make it from here.. thanks for a.. nice evening though.."
He beamed "We'll have to do it again! Good night Ro." He leaned in and kissed her... right on the lips.

Azaroth watched silently, no longer in his library, he'd appeared at Ro's old house moments after the pair had arrived. His eyes were fixed on Rowena, observing her reaction.

She had frozen in shock but quickly gathered her wits and lightly pushed him away
"Ro?"
She shook her head "I... don't think this is a good idea."
"why not? I thought we had a good time?"
She sighed and backed up a bit more "It was ok... but... I'm sorry... I don't want to kiss you."

Walking away a little faster would be nice... Az suppressed a growl. He didn't like anyone talking to Ro like that. What she did was her business, of course that was the opinion of someone who'd spent the night spying on her throughout her date. Ah, double standards...

Komori shook his head "Oh no... don't give me that. This whole evening you might have been out with me.. but you were stuck on him. You wouldn't even let me near that necklace. Its JUST a necklace... but you were clinging to it like the most precious thing in the world! WHY?"
Ro faltered and stopped herself from taking another step back... this wasn't Helga. Komori might have been upset but he wouldn't hurt her. ".... I... don't know what to tell you..." She fidgeted uncomfortably.
