I posted in the Hiatus thread (Bad idea), and I thought that might do, because I've been away in Italy for a week! I missed you all, though I didn't miss the miserable English Weather we've been having this past summer!))

Kyfen took the fork precociously. For some reason, this event reminded him... of something that had happened, once. Or prehaps more than just the one time. Stuffing his face full of sweet, over sugared hyper-carbs might've been a perfectly regular activity for him as far as the current Kyfen was concerned. Cautiously, as if the food could reach out and bite him at any moment (Which, considering Cyrea's words from earlier, wouldn't be all that suprising). Taking a forkful, he opened his mouth and ate it, eyes immediately lighting up. It was good. Very good. Sampling Yata's cake also, began to guzzle away at the two delicacies in front of him.
"I didn't know you guys could cook," Kyfen said, between mouthfuls. He scratched the back of his head absent mindedly. Was it him, or was he getting a little, niggling headache? Like a pinprick of light in a dark room, it was minor, yet annoyingly noticable. Kyfen dismissed it, and offered some cake to Matt and Yata too.

Matthew turned around to reveal cake on his face and in his hair. He smiled at Kyfen. "No thanks buddie.." he smiled and ruffled Kyfen's hair. Smearing cake in it. "Aw we match.." Matthew smiled brightly. "Now I didn't know Yata could cook either...And I'm glad you like it.." Matthew started shaking rapidly. His hood fell. Matthew picked Kyfen up and flew around the kitchen. "Well this is fun.." He put kyfen down and sat down on the counter.

((hmmm i see mega likes valenth too. so to the pie!!!!! -dives into a giant pie then pulls matt in with mega-))

((They don't eat much pie in Italy, mostly Pizza and Pasta biggrin But my opinion on this matter all hinges on one fact; what kind of pie have you dragged me into this time?))

Kyfen smiled, no laughter escaping his mouth.
"You're making me worry! When did you start flying, Matt?"
A slight, bubbly sensation filtered in from the back of his head, like a sugar rush. Only Kyfen had eaten the cake a mere couple of moments ago. Prehaps Immortals had higher metabolic rates than normal humans. It would explain how they lived for ever in more logical terms.
Kyfen shook his head. He was a twelve year old kid. Stuff like this shouldn't even cross his mind. He shouldn't know what a metabolic rate was.
I shouldn't know what my intestines look like inside-out, either, but there you go.
Kyfen winced. He didn't need to remind hmself about the... incident. The necklace was still around his neck. Gigi, despite leaving to explore, was here now. It couldn't happen again.
