"No I have no desire to hold you to that. Please try to calm down you have a fever." Marie is very worried and even though she tries not show it you can plainly see it. She is applying cold towels to his forehead. "Does that feel beter?"

Vlad visibly relaxes and begins looking drowsy, "I didn't mean gold or anything like that, but if you need a home once this is all over."

Marie is being overcome with emotions and almost begins to cry, she stops herself but her eyes are watery. Changing the towel for a cooler one she says, "Vlad I whish I could but once I defeat the person who did this I'll most likely...." Marie couldn't bringherself to finish the sentence, she couldn't bare the thought of leaving him. Marie lowered her head a bit just to cover her eyes and to wipe awa her tears.

Vlad looks up, "Oh right you said once you kill him your number is up to right? Do you have to? I don't want to loose you either."

Marie can't hold back her tears anymore. Brushing Vlad's hair away from his face and gently stroking his cheeks Marie said, "I wish it wasn't true, I wish I could stay. Now that I found you." Marie softly smiled as she looked into his eyes.

Still crying Marie said, "I know." She maintained a stable tone in her voie. Vlad's hair was still falling over his face and Marie keeps pushing it back. Placeing a fresh, cold towel on his forehead Marie wishes that she could be human again.

Slightly chuckiling out of embarassment Marie said, "Oh, don't worry. I'm just worried about you and other things like the next one in the creatures to come, who would it be?" Marie lied to Vlad, she thought, "I can't leave him but I have to kill that creature and then...I'll die." Marie tried to put on her best face right now for him.

Vlad gives a small laugh, "Sure, I bet. Well I'm going to take a nap now. If anything major happens wake me up OK?" Vlad closes his eyes and goes to sleep.

"Alright, I will. Sleep well." Marie waits for him to go to sleep and turns from him and holds herself and begind to cry. She stayed silent, she didn't want him to wake up and find her like this. While facing the door, away from Vlad Marie thinks, "I wish I didn't have to leave him, and that he could take me with him."

Vlad sleeps deeply due to his exhaustion, but he just didn't know what to do about Marie.

Recomposing herself Marie wipped away her tears and fixed herself up a bit. Looking in the mirror's reflection she sees Vlad. "I wish he knew all of what I feel. Is that too much?" Marie thought as she brushes through her hair with her fingers, she sits back down near Vlad's bed and begins to brade her hair

Watching him sleep she noticed the towel was dry. She took it off and replaced it with a cold one, Vlad still felt warm. She brushed the hair in his face back and thought, "I hope you're sleeping well."
