"Well lets see, after waking up under a bridge, i headed towards the big city. But then I was stopped by a clan of vampires. of course, at the time i didn't know I was a vampire, and i have no idea how they knew i was one." Zy realized right there how they knew he was a vampire. Calvin. Zy forgot he was telling a story and just sat there.

zy snapped out of it. "oh, that not till way latter, i was still a boy at this time. anyways, i joined the clan as soon as i figured out i was a vamp. i spent several years with them. but it never really felt like my family, the way the others said it did to them. or leader, Calvin, was a power hungry b*****d who had no respect for human life. he would order us to wipe out entire villages at a time. eventually i got tired of it. i wanted to leave the clan. Calvin told me that that would be impossible. we got in an argument and he tried to take my bible. that's when i attacked him and killed him with ease. of course, in tradition, that would make me the clans leader. only to be replaced by death. i wanted to give away my title to the next in charge, but that didn't work. so i just left them. Technically I'm a leader of one of the most feared vampire clans in the continent, but i haven't seen them for ages.

Zy laughed at her comment. "Not exactly. Anyways so was was about 40 when i left the clan and I headed to the middle east to make the pilgrimage to the holy land. little did i know there was a crusade going on at the time. I tried to stay out of it, but i found it hard to do so. i eventually fought for the middle easterns. We won the war, and they offer me land for my help in defeating the invaders. That was were i met your mother."

she was one of the nurses that was working on my land. her father was a doctor and a close friend of mine. when he died, i promised I'd take care of his daughter jasmine. it wasn't long after that, that she found out what i really was. I would feed off of the criminals who were sentenced to death. one night, she caught me feeding. I was surprised when she excepted me for who i was. she was the first and only person to ever do that."

shaon continued to listen quietly, her mom that deserted the family, who left them, accepted a vampire? she said nothing though, curled up with her ears back, relaxed.

"it wasn't 'till later that she said she wanted me to turn her, she said that she loved me." Zys voice lowered and slowed down. "I didn't know what to do, i didn't love her, i didn't know what that meant at the time. i told her how i felt and that i would do no such thing. she said nothing for several days, not just to me, but to anyone. I completely broke her heart. she was never the same again. it wasn't till the day i decide to leave that she came up to me with a gift. it was Janan, my sword. she said she wanted me to have it. you see, Janan means soul in Arabic. in a since, she gave me her soul.

Shaon stared mutely at the ground. Even if Zy never loved Jasmine, how coudl she compare with someone who pretty much gave up their soul to him? she closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath through her nose as she sighed.

Shoan took in another deep breath, resing her head on his lap as he finished. she blinked as she looked at her arm, the fur began to receed. "detransformation." she clarrified, pulling away fro a momnet as the hair began to shrink away and her body got smaller.

"not my fault." she snapped, her voice on the edge of anger as she eventually sat there, her naked form hunched like a dog. she grabbed her cape and pulled it over her shoulders, scowling.

Zy was taken back by her anger. " what wrong?" He ask; he had no idea why she was upset. he wait for her to respond before he could do what he wanted to do.
