Walking with Devin through the vast hallway, they finally appraoched a group of people. They where all elaborately dressed and sitting in thrones. The center throne was the biggest.
Kneeling down infront of them she waited for directions.
"My child, stand. You are one of us. Do not think of yourself lower then the council." The mans voice stopped speaking as he saw her rise. He looked at her with tears forming in his eyes. "My daughter, I have missed you. Though, this is not a joyous occasion i am sad to say. You are brought before the council for certain reasons." he paused.
"First, you have come to the age to choose where you'd like to be. In the Realm of Gods or the Mortal Realm. Seeing as you have chosen them I am proud. You are strong." He smiled at her.
Another voice cut in, this time it was unfamiliar. "Secondly, it is time to pick a title for you when you have done something worthy of recignition. Your mother got hers from her Beauty and endless Love. I have gotten mine from being the god of war. Now for you, seeing as your name is Koori, you shall be the Goddess of Ice and _____. The blank will be filled in with what ever gains you that title."
She heard her mothers voice, "Finally, you will be trained to face what ever lies ahead of you." She smiled and looked at Devin. "Young man, do you have any questions for the council?"

being called upon by the gods, he saw that this wa the most opportune moment to find out the secrets of the amulet. "Um yes, i came across this amulet. I need to know what it does." He raised the amulet to the council, hoping for an anwser

Mar surveyed from far away...
Trained for what ever lies ahead of you? I wonder what she means...
It seems you've found your place Koori. I'm happy for you.
Mar continued to suppress his aura so that it were almost impossible to sense him with normal magic.

Everyone in the council sighed and said in unison, "Aphrodite or Koori should have told you by now. There is nothing we can do to help you with it. We have the same reaction that they did..." they all looked at him apologeticly.
Aphrodite turned to Koori and continued. "Like I said, You will need further training for what ever may lay ahead of you. I suggest you both take that Death class. I know you despise it because your friend is "Deaths Apostle" but its for your own good. Also I'd like to keep you here for a day. Your friend too. Someone will be training you both. One for flying and manuevers, and one for your new found Guardian." She smiled at Devin approvingly. "It seems he came prepared so if you'd like we can get you started right away."
Koori looked at Devin to see what he wanted.

Devin looked over at Koori, at the gods, and at Agro perched on his shoulder. He shrugged his shoulders, and said. "Well, i did make the trip here. Might as well stay for a while." He then looked back at Koori. "That is, if you want me to."

She smiled at him. "Well like my mother said, you are my new found Guardian." She laughed and grabbed his hand gently. "Right now, I need you with me."
She noticed the council was still there and blushed. "Uhm so Mother, what do you mean what lays ahead of me?"
The council looked at the young angel shocked. Stunned her mother said to her, "It seems as if your little friend who calls himself a saint is Deaths Apostle. We, the council, fear that you may need to go against him or some higher ranked demon. If that is the case then you will need to be trained hard so you have a slight chance of surviving. Tsuki will also be trained as his form he is in now. Your friend Devin will be taught more in combat and so will you. Futhermore, you will learn to harness the fox demons powers and increase your own abilities. Though that special talent you have you will need to learn more by yourself."
"Thank you. I think we are ready. Right Devin?"

Devin patted the hilt of his swordand gave an assured look. "Not to worry. I'm ready whenever you are Koori.' He then patted Agro on the head. "And agro here is willing to do everything he can to help as well." "I wonder if it will be safe to use my powers here though." He thought.

Torikimaru walked over to his bag and pulled out ad small dagger. "I do not belive in friendship, but I do belive in alliances." he said as he cut his arm. He then moved his hand over the cut and it healed as his hand passed over it.

Preparations... Hmm, nothing interesting for Death; however, I'm feel unsure about something.
Perhaps it's all in my head.
Mar released his seal and returned to the Underworld.

The council whispered among themselves for a few minutes. Finally a mans voice boomed out. "The council has spoken. Koori you shall train with the best in the following: Archery, Flying, Spell casting, and demonology. We will live the death related topics to your teacher. As for you boy you will learn: Agility, hand to hand combat, and technique with swords. Sadly you two shall not be anywhere near eachother when it comes to training. When we have decided you have both learned enough you will fight one of us. Aphrodite will take Koori to her first teacher, and i will take you to yours. We are going somewhere completly different though so you can use your full powers. Hopefully no one will mind us in limbo."
Koori gave Devin a reassuring smile as her mother came to get her.

Devin had agnolwedeg the fact that they were going to train together. Although the fact that they wouldn never see each other throught the training course made him a little nervous. He walked with Aries to their training ground. It looked similar to an olympic playing field. "Here is where you shall train, and this will be where we fight." Aries told Devin.

Hearing his prayer Aphrodite and Koori took a quick detour.
"Your that kid from earlier... The one that said I thought of myself higher then you. I am sad to say I dont know if your mother is. As far as i know, she is stuck in... well limbo." She looked at the boy sadly.
