Jack's little backstory has hit 5 pages. Just a little bit more left to do.

After about an hour of muddling through the guild forums, something struck me. Cruisers are traditionally quite larger than the Glaive in proportion to other ships! Another thing that hit me was I had neglected to remember a ship type: the corvette! Corvettes having a very similar role to cruisers but in a much smaller package, I decided to change the Glaive for a cruiser to a corvette. I made a few other alterations, including reducing its speed. This opens the cruiser class an open alternative, and I plan on developing a new niche ship to fit into that space we were missing between the Mars and the Glaive.

One other thing: did you purposely not put any Neptune carriers in our battlegroup? I know the Hymn rivals them in capacity as a carrier.


Also, Kai: I made a mistake of joining a dead forum on stararmy. Can I get in on this juicy plot you're cooking up?

Steven's backstory is at the point were it qualifies as a very lengthy short story, and Grianne and I (well, she was, I was listening) were joking about making Steven's days at the naval academy into branch off school RP.

I have to agree with Kai. A few notes I've picked up.
1. Everyone wants to be a student with a troubled past. So make the teachers all NPCs.
2. Don't let everyone have a troubled past. If it's good keep it if not tell them to try again.
3. Due to the time period, almost all of us will need to pick a new character. (The school is only six months) We should all be of the same year.
4. This is a great RP to get the bases of history and classes but add your own flare.
5. Kai will be your best bet to help with this.
6. We should start off where your story left off.
7. This would be Steven's story not Kai's. Though get his help with it, make sure it's your own.

Wow...origanally I was just going to ignore the idea after labeling it ridiculous, but now I am actually thinking about doing it 0_o'

So long as it is with you guys since I know I can trust you all for quality, in which case I would post it on the subplots forum. But as it stands it would soon die from lack of activity, in which case some people from the School for Dedicated Rpers would come in handy. So if I did make itit would be on one of the public forums but I would keep a strict choosing process for applicants.

And now I feel oblidged to make a RP for Steven's days at the academy.
That also reminds me that I need to think up an actual name for the school.

You know, I really dislike just throwing s**t out there about my life, but I just realized I'm currently in a real ********, and it's half my fault.

The bird has become a real letdown: to you guys, to Alvirad, to family, and friends.

I guess that's about the best substitute for an update on my life considering the fact that basically nothing has happened other than the fact that my bad leg has gotten better. I still limp, and running is basically out of the question, but I survived four hours of paintball, so there's been progress.
