Bowser has the power to change sizes. Ridley, however, does not.

legendarychao Why Ridley Should Be In As all Smash fanatic know there's always three series that get barely any reps in Smash games. Kirby, Donkey Kong and Metroid. Well Kirby's gotten Meta Knight and King Dedede, and Donkey Kong's gotten Diddy Kong. So who should Metroid get? In my opinion Ridley's the best choice. Some people have said that he'd be best suited as a boss but I think Kraid would be a more fitting one since he's not as popular as Ridley. Some say he's too big. Ridley can easily be shrinked down. Let's take Bowser for example. We'll compare a screen shot of him in Super Mario 64 and in Super Smash Bros Melee. Super Mario 64: Super Smash Bros Melee: If you notice in Super Mario 64 Mario's about half the size of Bower, but in Melee Mario's a little bit shorter than him. If Bowser can be resized, then why not Ridley? Why else should Ridley be in Brawl? Well I have a couple more. He's been in every Metroid game besides Metroid II. Since he's been in all but one Metroid game then why shouldn't he be in Brawl? Also he's the only character that could be a Metroid rep. Some have said that Dark Samus could be one, but she's got clone written all over her. Actually she is in fact a clone of Samus in the Metroid games. So in conclusion Ridley should be in Brawl not as an AT or boss, but a playable character. If you want more Ridley, play Melee, set time for 99 mins on the stage w/ Ridley and stare.

Bowser does not have that power. Nintendo resizes him sometimes. I look at him in Sunshine, he's huge!

Ridley can be resized. I've seen other characters resized before.

Insult the whole guild, and be a douche at the same time.
If you don't like it, then get the ******** out.
I really don't see Ridley as a playable, but I could be wrong. Prove otherwise, and I will listen.

You guys, you really should stop taking this so hard. It's a site they set up to show us about their game, and just because they haven't had anything mind-blowing for a little while everyone goes crazy. Normally we get updates about games like this like, once or twice a year. But Nintendo has decided to be nice, and give us the Dojo. So, two weeks since somthing REALLY interesting? Boo-freakin'-hoo.
K, I'm done. Please don't hate me... ._.
