Bakura and Atem argued for a little bit longer, then finally agreed on simple enough terms; to a tree and back, without trying to trip or hit or otherwise block each other. Bakura didn't like the last part, but decided to agree anyway. The race itself was fairly uneventful; the pharaoh one. Only because Bakura let him, obviously. Atem started running when he shouted go, and Bakura just strolled slowly along.

Sudenly there was a splish and rei's eyes widen. looking down she noticed she was soaked "um guys..I..I think my water broke....."
Ember blinked "I'll grabthe car" she said running to get the keys.
"BAAAKUURA COME BACK REI"S WATER BROKE!" Kawi yelled having a good set of lungs.

Since it was Kawi who yelled, and (since you didn't say anything about it) she wasn't speaking the language Bakura understood, he looked towards Atem, who was luckily nearby. "Huh?" "Her water broke!" Atem exclaimed, looking expectantly at Bakura, who just stared blankly back. "That means the baby-- babies-- are coming!" He grabbed Bakura's hand, running and dragging him along to go to Rei. Bakura looked bewildered, not sure what to do.

Rei had started to breathdeeply as thecontractions came. Ember soon came back "ok bakura" she said speaking in his language "I need you to very VERY carfully pick rei up and bring her to the front of the house. I have the car started and waiting."

Bakura looked unsure, but then scooped up Rei gently, taking her to the front of the house. He was utterly silent, looking rather nervous. "You doing okay?" he asked softly, awkwardly.

"Y-Yea" she studdered grasping his arm rather tightly .
Ember helped rei into the back of the car. Once she got rei in she shoved bakura in "make sure rei dosent move to much!" ember said getting in the drivers seat and speeding off to the hospital.
"come on you guys!" kawi said heading to thegarage. "lets follow her."
kira who had followed them gently grasped ryou's hand.

"Er... try not to move too much, please." Bakura requested, unlatching her hands from his arm so it wouldn't hurt him so much. He held her hands instead. "Are you feeling okay?" Ryou asked Kira as he followed Kawi.

"Great." Bakura leaned over, kissing Rei's forehead. "I'm not really sure what giving birth is like here... Hell, I don't even remember what it was like at home." He was trying to mask his terror and nervousness at what might happen. "Oh, okay. Just checking." Ryou said as they got to the car. He helped Kira get in, then got in himself.

"well..it's safer here...but from my point of veiw... this of having somthing the size of a watermellon pushed threw a hole the sizeof an orange...." rei said. "but...at the hospital..there have stuff...like your asprin...but ten times stronger..."
once they werein kawi followed.

Bakura cringed a little at the mental thought, and knew that he would never be able to eat a watermelon or orange the same way. "Poor you." He said sympathetically, remembering that they were having twins. "Good thing some of the pain will be taken away."
