Tru Punky My mommy said not to take candy from strangers. neutral ...seriously, don't take any from Elliot. He's only given medicine 3 times IC. 1 of those times it was a sedative to knock someone out since they wouldn't stop talking, another time it was just plain opium.

And Tru wouldn't just take any medicine, she doesn't trust many, or so not to hurt feelings, she would probably pretend to take it and stuff it in her bra or something. xd

I'd have to know more about Elliot. What do you know about Alchert? Or will you simply relly on reading his match as it progresses?
I should really find lyrics to insert into that kiddy song he's singing. You can just imagine it, gruff, giant, late-forties guy singing in a scratchy voice some soft children's song, with his wild bedraggled clothes and hair, speckled with gray or dirt depending on if you're talking hair or clothes, big bags under his eyes, in the middle of an arena and paying most attention to counting the spectators.

@ Fish: I haven't read that. @ Question: Lessee here... Quote: Name: Elliot Asregard Race: Human Age: 23 Height: 5’6” Weight: 153 lbs Hair Color: Blonde Eye Color: Green Occupation: Chemist Elliot is an educated individual, having trained in various forms of medicine, mostly involving chemical compounds and their effects upon the body, though he has some surgical training as well. His studies in medicine lead him to other types of chemical compounds, and after a few years following them as a hobby on the side of his medical studies, he became rather well versed in various types of toxins and explosives. Description: Elliot always travels heavy, taking the tools of his trade with him wherever he may wander, plying his craft whenever he can and aiding those who need the assistance of a skilled healer. Because of the heavy load that he regularly lugs around, and due to his nature as a physician in keeping his own health in peak condition, Elliot is quite fit, despite the lack of voluntary exercise that he may get. To carry his equipment, a heavy pack with a sturdy frame is loaded up with most of his materials, which is strapped across his back, the frame allowing it to hold much more material than a loose cloth pack would, though when it is filled it can be a tad on the heavy side. Hanging almost constantly at his left hip, however, is his satchel, which holds most of his medical supplies, though the means for preparing those supplies are kept within the traveling bag to keep them from taking up room. Within this bag there are various pouches, packets, bottles, and tools used in his trade, available at a moment if he were to need them. Elliot has a gray beret which he is quite attached to, for reasons all his own, and wears it nearly every day, though during procedures he removes it to prevent soiling the piece. Worn about his waist, Elliot bears a thick leather belt, strewn across with pouches for containing herbs and chemicals, and loops to tie other pouches to as well. Elliot himself, however, is a bit bland, his expression usually one of annoyance as his condescending attitude to those around him grinds at his patience when putting up with the uneducated masses. At times he gets rather annoying to be around. Equipment: Elliot carries dozens of different chemicals and tools with him in his bags, though most are to be expected, such as rolls of bandages, knives and razors, herbs, both fresh and dried, which were meant for a variety of things, and bottles and pouches of chemical compounds. How much of each item he has with him, however, is entirely dependant upon how much he brought, and how much he used. When he runs low of some complex compounds, he usually has some of the materials with him to create more, though those will eventually run low as well, and he will need to either collect materials himself or buy them from a trader in order to restock. Of the most notable things that he carries with him, there are a few: Tucked into his belt near the left hip Elliot keeps with him a flintlock pistol, loaded and with a cork stuck in the end of the barrel to keep the powder in, though he is for sure not stupid enough to keep the action cocked back when he’s not intending to fire it. Extra ammunition and powder is stored in the satchel, though it takes a little while to reload the pistol. In his satchel, Elliot has four bottles of different types of contents. The first is a tightly sealed glass bottle with a rubber stopper rammed in the top. The stopper is bound to the neck of the bottle with a steel spring-like contraption, which applies pressure onto the top of the stopper while pulling up on the underside of the neck to keep it pressed in. All around the outside of the bottle a length of black cloth is wrapped and pinned together, keeping the light out from it. This bottle contains a measure of chloroform, used to anesthetize patients or calm down rowdy troublemakers. The second bottle is much more mundane, containing mainly water within, with a bit of grime floating about in it. This bottle has a screw-on cap, which keeps the contents inside, and normally is filled with about 15-20 brown leeches. In the third bottle is a liquid composed mainly of kerosene, with a few impurities in it. Normally this is used in conjunction with a square of cloth and a flint to create a quick flame for sterilizing tools before surgery, though it undoubtedly has other uses as well. The fourth bottle, however, is one that any man would recognize, a bottle of cheap whiskey, normally full when he leaves on a trip, and empty when he arrives at his destination… It has a strong scent of alcohol, and is quite potent, both for getting oneself a little tipsy or disinfecting a wound with the alcohol. He also carries a few explosives ready with him, both in his satchel and in the pouches on the side of his belt. The more complicated ones have a flint trigger on the outside of the bomb next to the fuse, and the fuse itself is drenched in kerosene to allow it to light faster. The basic ones, however, need to be lit manually with a separate device before they are ready. In a tin box in his satchel, Elliot keeps a stack of paper packets, folded tightly with a charge of powder inside, mixed with small stones and flint shavings. These can be thrown without lighting for a concussion blast, though they are delicate, and care needs to be taken to prevent mishaps while handling them, thus why they are kept in a stiff metallic container to prevent jostling and bumping in the satchel. Finally, there is a small tin with a clasp on the lid, keeping the body and the top tightly bound together so that nothing can escape through the cracks. This tin is kept in a brown leather pouch with a drawstring on it to make sure it stays as far secluded from everything else as possible. Inside of this tin there is a white powdery substance, potent poison, which is used on those patients who are too far gone for their own saving. Something to put an end to their suffering without having to deal with the ‘quick and painful’ or the ‘messy’ types of situation… Personality: As an educated person in an area where so many others seem to rely entirely upon their abilities to kill things to get by, Elliot has developed a bit of a superiority complex, and looks down on those around him as ignorant people who know little more than what someone has bothered to explain to them. He holds a snide, sarcastic attitude when speaking to anyone who he doesn’t consider on the same intellectual playing field as himself, and is oftentimes hard to get along with because of this. To avoid having to put up with the world around him, Elliot has developed a strong case of alcoholism, using the mind-numbing properties of the drug to dull his perceptions to the world around him, which, in turn, keeps him from having to put up with those ‘idiots’. As far as his own traits go, however, he is dedicated to his craft, though not religiously working to alleviate the suffering of those around him. He will more often than not provide his services as a medic to those in need; though he is not opposed to letting those who deserve it suffer their own fates. Not spectacular, one of my hour-bios, but it certainly gets the gist of the character down, don't it? whee LEECHES. domokun

Anyone know if it is alright to "Warp" to the arena for entrance sake? I would hate to get DQ'ed over something as retarded as that.

Er... explaination...
One day I had the bright idea to make a character based on the Chemist class from Final Fantasy Tactics.
This is my result.
edit: @ Sol: I think it is. The warp rule would constitute leaving the area and coming back, by stepping out of dimensions or whatever. Thusly, if you only enter, you haven't left yet.
Also, I don't think the match is officially on until both people get there and such. Or is it?

Tru Punky I wonder how many characters tmj has. That's a scary thought. surprised TOO many. I make them on a whim and never play them because I don't have time... Hell, I have dozens in various groups, mashed together with common themes. stressed Damn my brain! gonk ( Honestly, though, I have something like 30-40 that I've written bios for, and make up glorified NPCs as I go along. )
