We're actually working on making a way to travel between realms seamlessly to fit the modern HvH while being an addition through the story itself. We also don't want it to simply be a hop skip and a jump, but rather requires reaching the destination for the transference which can also become a choke point for story purposes.

Well, the thing is that we don't have any against travel races or expectations. The RPer may do as they wish, travelling is not restricted (except by they themselves) and races can exist however they wish. Literally, you have all of space and time to do as you wish with. Granted, you will have to come up with a bit of a backstory if they're native, but even that is entirely up to you how you'd like to go about with that. I mean, if you wanna be a Dark Elf who has been in Heaven, Hell or Earth then feel free. There have been numerous RPers who have had RPCs that were hiding among Humans and some that only interacted with non-Humans and hid the rest of the time.

I actually wouldnt have a problem, I would start off as a fey, the original legends which gave rise to elves, and an unseelie fey at that.

Which would grant the innate ability to travel across multiple planes.

Cool, cool. It'll be nice to have some new species out there. What sorta perspective is he gonna take on everything that has been happening?

Lol, well, that depends on what condition the earth is in I suppose.

If it is similar to what it is now, then I imagine outrage, and that would escalate depending on how much worse it is.

it was simply a commentary, i generally dont disagree with what you are saying.

Still, it makes huge portions of the events, i.e. at least a third, entirely locked, to characters with polarized alignments.

Further there is the major question of, transportation. In terms of function, what stops hell from mounting a direct attack on heaven? Traditionally the earth had to serve as the battle field, and there was no direct transit between heaven and hell without an act of god.


Most of the questions I try to pose are functional, and deal with the actual mechanics.

Things like motivation i try to leave alone, unless their is a mechanical problem causing motivations to come off as contrived.

Yeah, I believe Phantom mentioned that we're trying to make a useful transportation system. I think we're hesitant right now to put something out there without fleshing it out because we don't want people hopping from realm to realm in an "unreasonable" amount of time.

But still, we all agree that one needs to be made. There's literally nothing stopping Hell from invading Heaven. That's part of why there's so much conflict. The war is eternal and Earth is caught in the middle of it. That's also why this current Arc is hinged on the Peace Treaty Lucas and Oni have.

Everyone aside from their comrades are not in favor of the treaty or at least they aren't accepting it well. But this allows characters from both sides to travel from one realm to another and scheme or pull strings. That's the dynamic for this plot. Who do you trust? And do we need to redefine what "good" and "evil" are?

I RP as Sabriel, our resident Fairy Princess, only the lore I've come up for her has been a bit of a mix of traditional and that of my own inspiration.
She comes from her own realm that isn't part of the HvH realms but can be accessed by her, or any other NPC fairies I come up with through "gates" in particular places on Earth and Earth only.


I don't like being a lazy RPer…. But at the same time I am, because recently I haven't wandered outside the bounds of HvH…. I blame uni for that.

Either way, I think you might have been in the Skype chat during one of the rare times I've been feeling talkative in it and therefore caught my musings about an old RPers poisons and my theories on how to defeat it based on it being an atropine based poison and therefore needing a physostigmine antidote?
And if that goes over your head because I KNOW it did for everyone else in the chat…
I like to research. Poisons/Toxins/Venoms is my favorite subject, followed closely by the human body and herbalism.
They link into my characters.
Sabriel is a healer who usually relies on herbalist techniques over her magic
Kora is an illusionist and poisons expert.
Both require a knowledge of the human body to have their various skills make sense in an RP setting.

On top of that, I like to make my posts as amusing as I can, especially with Kora.
… And especially with Kora when she's teamed up with Devil's Oni.
They're a match made in lake water.


I can't wait to throw up some sort of Kora comment like this;
"… I am in Heaven… and I am not dead…. to be in Heaven, you must be DEAD, preferably erring on the doornail side and even then, it's a sure fire fact I'm supposed to be downstairs!! Preferably on the opposite side of the realm to Fuzzy and causing him grief!!"
