Say no more. Kaguyo was already headed out to find Ainsu, to either get the key, or, more likely, to get to the bottom of things. "Is this REALLY what you want?" she demanded of him, crossing her arms in the doorway. "Or is it what Aoki-san wants??? This isn't like you, Su-kun." her eyes pierced him. When she willed it, they could cut through even the toughest armors and facades. She knew Ainsu well enough that, while she had never given him this particular stare before, that it would hit its mark painfully. "What did I do to you, save nearly die every single time Aled kidnapped me?" she asked, taking a step forward. "What?? I never asked for his child. I never asked for anyone but you, Su-kun, except when I had to act to keep myself alive. Hell, did you ever remember the play I nearly died performing for you?" her gaze softened somewhat. "What happened to you, Su-kun....?"
Kazuhiko sighed, huffing. "Fiiiiiiiine...." he rolled his eyes. "But I could steal the keys. I know I could." He dangled upside down from his portal, only his legs sticking out into Fir's base. "I really hate them now though Da. I don't like my family getting hurt."

Ainsu looked almost like a completely different person. His hair was back, the man wearing ceremonial clothing. Clothing that would have befit the Ou no less. But he sported a dark cape of fur, one that covered over his burnt and deformed arm and hand, trailing from his shoulder down to the floor. (((OOC: He looks like the wallpaper of him I put up recently in the images section))) He was leaning to the side slightly, his chin in his left hand. "Actually, I don't remember the play. I was drugged... remember?" he asked, his voice cold, yet unemotional otherwise. "And no, Aoki-san is merely doing what I tell him, after all. Why do you ask? Something about your current... accomodations, not sitting well with you. I heard you helped Aled to escape... good for him..." he smirked slighlty, his eyes locked onto her own gaze. "Bad for you..."
~ ~ ~
(((OOC: THAT WAS SO CLICHE! *dies*)))
~ ~ ~
Po-ar nodded, "Wakatta..." he replied with a slight smile. "Demo... something had to set this off..." "I'm suspecting an outside force." Aled put in. "Ainsu's never... ever... acted this way, and I've known him since he was a boy."

Kaguyo looked disappointed by this, she couldn't hide it. "You still don't remember....despite recalling mostly everything else." she sighed deeply. "Damnit... And no. No, I didn't like my 'accommodations', not with Aled." her eyes narrowed slightly. "And no, I DIDN'T help Aled to escape, that would be your friend's son, in case your memory doesn't serve you there either. I could have escaped save for Aoki-san." she admitted with a sigh. "I could have at least tried to warn Po-ar of this..." She paced the room, deep in thought. She loved him; she wanted nothing more than to hold him, to kiss him, to be happy with the playwright... But he was no longer the man she knew and loved. He had changed, although the physical part didn't bother her as much as, say, needles. His eyes, his way of thinking, he had changed. He was more like Aled had been. "What the hell do I have to do to prove my love for you?" she asked suddenly, turning to face him. "Even if you cannot remember me in the play, I know you can feel my memories, my thoughts. You weren't drugged when I was kidnapped this last time... You weren't drugged when I was kidnapped the time before that, or any other of the times I nearly died... If I wanted to live, I had to make sure Aled didn't pick up on anything, intercept a message. Even then, I sent word through Watari and the elephants... I didn't care about Aled, Su-kun, so much as I cared about you and myself, my safety, your safety. You almost died, how could I risk Itachi coming after you again?? Why can't you see that??" Everytime she saw him, she felt like she was going to split apart and die of grief. If only she could have! She didn't understand why he was acting this way, or why he wouldn't give her so much as a fraction of his time to listen. His mind was made up. She moved forward, eyes welling up with tears again. She hated not being able to restrain herself before him. "Su-kun..." she whispered softly, kneeling before him and resting her head on his knee. "I love you... I always have, since the day I met you. Always." she lifted her head, stroking his cheek. "I don't care what you look like... or how powerful, rich or poor you are.... I have no connections to Aled anymore, thank goodness, nothing that ties me to him. I can escape him for the first time since I can remember...." she sighed deeply. "Aishiteru. I love you, and you alone...." She claimed his mouth in a passionate, devoted kiss, her heart pouring out through her actions. He was empathetic; surely he would see that she was being truthful. She pulled away for a moment. "If... if I need to wear these cuffs, to prove to you I am no threat, then so be it. But my loyalty has always been to you, first and foremost. I don't care what it takes, but I will prove this to you, Su-kun. I have only ever wanted you." She held his hands gently in hers, her thumbs stroking them softly. "Believe me or not... but I speak from the deepest part of me I can, Su-kun. This won't change, unless you refuse me. I don't want to be your enemy, Su-kun."
Kazuhiko frowned. "Possessed?" he asked, tilting his head. "Immortal like you were? I can check!" he chirped eagerly. "No one can beat me. I can peek around and see if someone other than Susan's at the controls."

Ainsu's gaze remained cold and unfeeling. "I wonder..." he whispered, before smirking darkly. "I wonder if this is how Aled felt when you begged him." Oh yes, act or no, Aoki had shown him those moments. "My empathy may be working quite well, Kaguyo... but I have been told you're a fantastic actress. Such a performance as this would be moving to many." He took one of her hands in his. "You fear me... you fear what I've become, even before I made this grab for power. I got too close, didn't I, Kaguyo?" he laughed, releasing her fingers. "No matter... I won't make the same mistake again. Aoki!" In mere seconds, the man appeared before him, kneeling. "Hai, Ainsu-sama." "I want you to diploy a fleet of ships to Earth. Find Itachi, and bring HER back." This gave the man pause. "Ainsu-sama, you must be mistaken. Itachi-san is..." "A woman." Ainsu replied with a smirk. "She's fooled us all. But not any more. I need her to do something for me..." Aoki nodded, "The circle?" "Hai... bring her back to me. Place her under a ki restraining cuff, but not one for her Tarnb-jin power. I'll be needing that." "At once, Ainsu-sama." Aoki replied before disappearing again. Smiling, Ainsu looked back to Kaguyo. "Soon... no one will question me. Not even you, Kaguyo."
~ ~ ~
"Chotto." Aled replied, shaking his head. "He isn't immortal... at least not yet. Ainsu doesn't know how to merge with the Tree... it's a delicate process. Besides... I fear this threat may be older than we think."

Kaguyo shook her head. "Iie..." she protested, "Look at me! Su-kun, look at me..." she pleaded, eyes trying to dig through the ice, "I could never, ever, EVER lie to you, Su-kun..." she sighed deeply. "Ever! Not once! Tell me, tell me ONE time I have lied to you intentionally Su-kun." she shook her head. "This isn't right... " But the fact he was bringing Itachi back worried her. What were they talking about??? What was going on? "I'm not afraid of you." she argued. "You think that hand has made you any different??? I was by your side CONSTANTLY when we were at Fir's, do you have any idea how worried I've been??" she sighed deeply. It was pointless, wasn't it..? She had lost him. Fight as she did, he wouldn't so much as give her arguments the time of day. Aled was unfortunately right. If Ainsu was half the man, he would have fought for her... But apparently, everything between them in the past was simply that. The past. She fell silent, still sitting and staring at the floor.

"My hand has nothing to do with this." Ainsu spoke, his eyes narrowing dangerously. Oh yes, his hand and arm were definitely a nerve with him. "Aled wasn't strong enough to rule... Po-ar's not strong enough to rule... and you? Ha... Tarnbsei needs a strong leader, Kaguyo. And I intend to be that leader." He leaned back on the throne, watching her carefully. "Besides... everything will be well when Itachi returns..." "Ainsu-sama..." Watari spoke up from the doorway. "Ano... Umm..." "What is it, Watari?" The scientist paled slightly, carrying a small tray. "I need to treat your wound... make sure it doesn't get worse... and your medicine, you..." "Iie." Ainsu spoke, his gaze suspicious. Watari came closer, "Demo, Ainsu-sama... it could get worse and I don't think you..." There was an explosion. One that had never before been seen from Ainsu... And Watari went flying, for the second time that day. "Gah!" the scientist gasp, blood coming from his lips once more as he pushed himself up. "Go... gomen nasai... Ainsu-sama..." he whispered. The playwright smirked slightly, "Get your things and get out of my sight, Watari."

"Baka!" Kaguyo shouted at Ainsu, before rushing over to Watari again. "Gomen nasai, Watari-kun." she shook her head. "Let it get infected. We'll see how he feels in a few days. I think he is too full of himself... he thinks himself invincible, indestructible it seems. That's perfectly alright. I know as well as you you've always been loyal to the Ou, whoever that is." She hurried him away before Ainsu could hurt him anymore. She could easily take the blows for the scientist; he had already done so much for her. "Baka..." Kaguyo shook her head. "I hope you come to see what a fool you're making yourself out to be."

But Ainsu simply watched as Kaguyo helped Watari from the room. "Arigatou gozaimasu... Kaguyo-chan... gomen nasai... It seems I'm just target practice for everyone today." the scientist winced before shaking his head. "I'm alright... but you have to convince Ainsu-sam to let me treat him. Pain in the a** or not, Ainsu-sama is Ou until someone can replace him. I have to help him, Kaguyo-chan. I'm duty bound..."

"Not if he doesn't want your help." Kaguyo shook her head, carefully helping him back to the lab and administering another elixir. "You might want to make more of these, Watari-kun..." However, she was already exploring the lab, looking around through a variety of bottles. She recognized one and started switching the pills, pouring the contents of his medicine into a (surprisingly) empty drawer. "Let me take care of things." Kaguyo answered coldly. "He'll listen to me." She returned to Ainsu a short while later, hands on her hips. "Now, listen here!" she commanded curtly, glaring. "You're not going to earn ANY respect from the people if you can't even treat those around you very well! For someone so concerned with being Ou and thinking he can be strong, you certainly are forgetting a great deal about mercy. Fear doesn't rule. The last thing these people want is another Aled, and I'm warning you, sweetheart, you're treading some dangerously thin borderlines between these things. Take your damn medicine." she snapped. "Quit acting like a stuck up, spoiled child and take care of yourself, or these people won't HAVE an Ou to help them. You know what'll happen?" she challenged him, moving inwards. "You'll start getting an infection---in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if that's already the case now. You'll start getting a fever. Soon, that damage from your arm will spread, because you're too ******** stupid to get it amputated. But that's alright. That's your choice. The dead tissue can spread and take out your major arteries, and then I can be Queen. So what do you pick, Ainsu?" she held out the bottle. "I'd take my time to think about this one."

The Tarnb-jin smirked, "I'm only trying to teach Watari to be a bit more forceful." he spoke, standing from the throne and descending the steps until he was directly in front of Kaguyo. "Watari needs to speak up, not cower in the shadows. He doesn't have a lot of physical power... but he is strong mentally. And I can only have the strongest around me, Kaguyo." He took the bottle from her hands, looking at it. "You got this from Watari?" he asked, recognizing the scientist's handwritting. Without even thinking about the consequences, Ainsu twisted the bottle... Only to figure out he needed both hands for it. "Open it." he ordered, handing it back to Kaguyo.

"Ask please." Kaguyo snapped sarcastically before twisting it open and handing him two. "You think that attacking him is going to make him more forceful? Hardly. Baka." she shook her head, utterly pissed. "They say that absolute power corrupts absolutely... No ******** kidding." She crossed her arms, watching him with narrowed eyes.

"What would you do, hmm?" Ainsu asked, looking at her with a smirk before taking one of the pills and handing the bottle back to her. "Simply let him be meek the rest of his..." But the Tarnb-jin playwright blinked, confusion evident in his eyes. "Kisama..." he whispered, collapsing to his knees and glaring up at Kaguyo. "What... what did you... do..." Ainsu was able to ask before falling unconscious.

Kaguyo didn't waste any time. First and foremost, she searched through his clothes and belongings, snatching up the keys for her cuffs. She undid them quickly... And snapped both of them onto Ainsu's bad arm. "Well, if you're not going to amputate it..." she murmured, before changing her mind. She decided to grab another cuff just in case and place it on his ankle. He wouldn't notice it right away, but it would certainly cut off his empathy. If Fir and the others came back, they'd have an easier time getting around. "Kazu-kun!" she shouted, "I have something for your grandfather! You need to warn Itachi also---Aoki and the others are coming for her, with cuffs. She can NOT, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE be caught, do you understand??" The boy peeked in, taking the keys with a nod. "Arigatou gozaimasu Kaze-lady." he smiled. She smiled slightly. "Tell them I'm trying to get control over things again. Don't worry. I'll be fine." She hoisted Ainsu up, dragging him back to the cell she'd been house-arrested with Aled in. She tossed him in, locking the door firmly. "Thank goodness..." she shook her head, sighing. "Now for the public." She quickly changed into something more regal, stepping out onto Aled's balcony where all his speeches were given.
If Aoki had left by now, this couldn't have been more perfect. "People of Tarnb-sei!" she spoke into the microphone, the winds temporarily dying down. It was too cold to stand in one place for very long otherwise, crowd or not. "I have a great warning to give to you, which I have no doubt you know already. Our government has recently been subject to many an upheaval... I am doing everything possible to keep power out of the hands of those who wish to abuse it, but there are two who cannot be trusted at any expense. Councilor Aoki has revealed himself a traitor to the royal family, a traitor who has plotted against our planet's wellbeing for many years now. I... I know you don't believe the meteor sightings, but that is because of this: those councilors that have died were found guilty of high treason, not only against Aled-sama, but against the planet. Under no, NO circumstance must you allow him to seize power. Unfortunately, he has influenced the mind of my friend Ainsu, who you may remember as the playwright who wrote the play I performed in. In any other circumstance, I would call him a good soul... but as of late, dark forces have been at work on his mind. He tried to seize the throne from me, no longer my ally; he is under house arrest at this very moment." She sighed deeply, rubbing her temples. "Now, you may ask why I am telling you all this; you deserve to know the truth. I have never been a fan of lying or sugar coating, and the situation is important enough that those deceptive tactics aren't anywhere near an option. I tell you this, because I am looking, no, pleading for your support. Throughout my years here, I have fought long and hard to ensure your happiness... and while I may have been prevented by those corrupt bureaucrats before, I am determined to ease your suffering. My loyalty to you is unfaltering; if I must, I will die for you. All I ask in return, is this... There may come a day, my people, perhaps as soon as the next week, when the tables are turned against me, against us. There are people that seek to use and abuse their power at your expense, and this is something we canNOT allow. If they are allowed to seize power, it... it is very likely that I will be executed. Even doing this is dangerous for me, but my love for you exceeds these boundaries.... even if I die, I beg of you to remain loyal to only Po-ar, the rightful heir, and his son, Kazuhiko. They are both fair and wise, and the younger will capture your hearts just the same as he did mine." She closed her eyes, trying not to cry. "If something happens to me, I beg you, revolt, for your own safety, for the safety and happiness of your children! These peoples' only concern is that they are not defied... It is not our way to be ruled through fear. We have gone through that for far, far enough. I swear upon my life that I will do absolutely EVERYTHING within my power to continue to serve you, to bring about the reforms that we so desperately need and deserve.... Just... please, don't give up on me. If you can do that, I will fight to the very end for you, without so much as a second thought. My blood, my people... Please, do not forget the play I nearly died to bring you. The playwright who wrote it is missing, at least the one I remember... It would be fitting in his memory to bring about a revolution against tyranny..." she opened her eyes, gazing down at them sadly. "I end my plea with but one final request. Should... should I be sent to the executioner's block, for this act, do not cry. Fight. Fight as fiercely as you ever have before... We have been through many great evils in our history, and we have fought them ALL!" her voice boomed passionately, "And fear be damned, we will fight anyone who tries to take our freedom away from us!"
Oh, yes, there was no doubt about this. Once Ainsu woke up, once Aoki returned, she was in a heap of trouble.
Kazuhiko popped in to see Aled and Po-ar again, dropping the key in Aled's hand. "Why would Susan sleep on the floor?" he asked, tilting his head. "Kaze-lady said she's trying to get power again... Oh... and something about Baka-yaro coming for Itachi? With pretty bracelets like Ojiisan's? And to not let her get caught. That's important, isn't it?"

When Kaguyo's speech was over, Watari was waiting for her. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" he shouted. "You... he's going to kill us all, Kaguyo! Not just you, every single one of us!" The scientist was pacing worriedly. "Kami-sama... he thinks I did it... it was my medicine you gave him... YOU GAVE HIM THE WRONG THING! I want to help him, Kaguyo, not get myself killed!!!" Watari, strangely enough, was quite pissed off. "I'm going to die.... I am seriously going to die..." he whispered.
Meanwhile... Ainsu was waking up...
~ ~ ~
Po-ar blinked, "Wait... why would they need Itachi?" he asked. But Aled shook his head, unlocking the cuff on his wrist. "No idea... Itachi protects the Ou... maybe he wants his protection?" but suddenly he blinked. "Chotto... onna?" "Hai..." Po-ar winced. "You weren't supposed to know that yet, Otousan..."

Kitaria sighed. "Well that is one secret that is out," she said, shakign her head, before looking to Po-ar. "What happens next is your decision. If Ainsu needs to be stopped I will be glad to assit of you, but if we go after him or Herne first is your decision." ------
