Bakuman's probably the best manga I've ever read that doesn't already have an anime out.
...Though I don't see how an anime could be nearly as good as a manga--I mean, that's just the whole appeal of the series. xd
Death Note is extremely good, well-written, high-quality in both animation and drawing style and has an INCREDIBLE soundtrack, however I can see why some people wouldn't like it.
If you don't like Bakuman, on the other hand, then you're just an idiot with brain damage.

Oh my god really? I don't like Death Note primarily because I don't like the plot line. That's it and none of the characters really interest me. Yesh Zaiten you act as if its wrong to have personal taste.
And yes I read some of the manga and watched the anime I just don't care for it at all. I don't have anything bad to say about it either my god.

Ryuuk's a BAMF, but my fave character from DN is definitely Mikami Teru.
...I have odd taste in characters.
EDIT: Jeeze, Dark, calm down. Nor's obviously exaggerating. It's just uncommon for anime fans to not fawn over Death Note.

Sorry but after dealing with a good majority of Death Note fans and so far all of them have come across as this; you don't like Death Note you're dead to me, or you like it we're best buds. And that's the reason I thought Nor was serious. And Ive met a lot of Death Note fans :/
