"I told you, when I'm pregnant then you can shove all the food down my throat as you want and I won't complain. And what's wrong with eathing like a bird?" Another laugh from her, her mood oh so well today, as she tugged him affectionately along, out of thier room and down the stairs, as Malik happened to glance Arthur and address him. He got a swat in the arm before she twined her arm around him, walking close to his side. "Arthur, are you alright? Many a thing creep in the underdark." Hey, she wasn't going to be guilty by association to Malik this time. Him and his little undead pets. But Arthur was given a smile...before a hand came up to puff her hair slightly to cover the one ear. "Weird? Quite normal I would say for around here." A little laugh at that before giving an almost secretive smile this time to him. "Oh, we went camping."

"Indeed. one must always be on guard in the underfoot. and what, praytell, has been wierd about this morning, other than your run in with whatever it was? and yes, we went camping."
A gesture.
"Hungry, Arthur? we were just fixing to get some breakfast."

Arthur smiled at Piper, she was worried about what had happen to him which was nice. "I'm alright just a nick, that thing was fast but I was able to get out of the way quickly enough. But don't worry I'll be careful the next time around" he said with a tiny smile to reasure the both of them. "That was normal?" he said in a suprised voice and sighed. "Well I better get use to it then." he said with a small chuckle. But he saw Piper's smile as they both mention that they went camping. "Oh you went camping? well thats okay, aqs for me it's a nice soft bed for a long time before I ever sleep outside again." Arthur had a small grin on his face as he brushed off some of the dust on his pants.
Arthur eyes turned to Malik and he smiled a little. "Well what just happened to me was werid thats all, and I do feel hungry again after what happened so yeah I would like to have some breakfast." he said in a polite tone. It was nice that Malik was inviting him to breakfast, and as he was told 'When someone offers you something, don't hesitate to take up on it.'

Zahara was twitching in her seat as her entire body took on that numb feeling. She didn't like it, her legs and arms felt heavy and little daggers felt like they were poking her from all sides. Uncomfortable and annoyed she kept fidgeting to get rid of the feeling but it just wasn't going away. Slowly she took deep breaths, counted a few times trying to make the time pass. She was afraid to stand up, afraid that more pain would assault her body and she might fall. Were her legs even able to be used. Moving one lightly she winced and shook her head. But she wasn't going to whine, that would appease Sevilin entirely too much. "Can I...have a reprieve? Please...?" By the gods, she did not just sound desperate! Oh what had he reduced her to?!

Piper brought her hand to her chest in that 'I feel flustered' gesture, and batted her eyes at Malik in furthering of the little mock show of 'my goodness, are you being cvil, I don't believe it, I feel faint'. Oh but she couldn't help but poke at that, though it only lasted for so long before she smiled fondly at her fiancee, letting her fingers lace with his as she was holding onto him. "Someone is in a good mood." But a soft melodic laugh and a look back to Arthur. "Well that's good. And yes, quite normal. That's the Underdark for you. But a little nod to the both of then and one of those perhaps surrendering sighs of hers. "Shall we get breakfast then before I loose what little of an appetite I do have?" Yes, she was actually hungry...after all, she had skipped lunch the previous day and didn't get a chance at dinner.
He blinked questioningly from her. "A reprieve? From what? Lessons or something else?" No he wasn't really trying to pick, he knew that she was probably uncomfortable and in a lot more pain and what not than she was letting on. "There is really nothing I can do for you Zahara, it is just something that must be dealt with." For a moment he thought...hm, how was he told to make it at least bearable.
"Best you can do is...'find a happy place' so to speak and ride it out." No. It wasn't fun at all. Then a shrug. "I suppose we can cut lessons short...not that you would be able to concentrate long as you're ailing under the runes." Ah he remembered his first experience...it was hell. But in a good way he supposed.

"I understand that Sevilin," she gritted. "But I can't do lessons like this." Her fingers were clenched and she was still moving crazily. Not comfortable at all. Her mind chattered to her about how he probably had a rune that could take the effects of this away entirely and she shoved that away. It was a good thing there was something to keep someone so new to the art from doing things ahead of schedule. If there was a rune to take it away it would eliminate the safety net she'd been caught in so to speak. Becoming numb by using the energy the way she had kept her from runing far too much and possibly killing herself but of course she wasn't thinking this way. She was too busy wishing she had feeling in her body. Her eyes closed and she bounced in her seat a bit very unhappy before settling back down. "Gods be damned..."

And she was getting snappy with him. What for? It wasn't his fault that she decided to do something without asking him first. She paid the price of most young students in rune magery who thought just because they could conduct a current they were good to go. "No need to get snappy...there is nothing that can be done."
He knew it wasn't a pleasant experience...after all, he was young and new in the art too once upon a time. "And I told you, you're done for the day." Him? He thought he would laze about for a while longer. Sevilin after all, enjoyed dark and early...was quiet and others weren't around. "If you would just put your mind somewhere else, it wouldn't be as bad."

"No need to get snappy? Oh yes becuase I'm sure you were just sooo pleasant when you did this. But then knowing you, you probably didn't even have to go through this did you? You were smart enough to wait, not push yourself to do more, learn more, try more. Your teacher probably warned you about what would happen when you started into this kind of training and you probably were smart enough to wait and listen to him. Lucky you. But I'm not you now am I?" She paused for a moment clenching her hands even tighter. "I was foolish and I reached too high, thought I could do more than I really could and now I have to deal with the consequences. Too bad right? Had I just waited and listened maybe I wouldn't be dealing with this. I know that's what you're thinking..." why was she suddenly going off on him? It wasn't his fault, she just felt so weird...and it wasn't nice. At all.

Okay...he was a bit taken aback now...she was doing it again. Attacking him for no reason at all...attacking him when he wasn't even provoking. And for some reason...it was getting to him. He was usually able to filter out yelling...yet he couldn't filter hers. And for some further unknown reason, that made him angry...and he wasn't going to sit there and take her crap.
In another moment of being pushed, as before with Malik, he stood up quickly, making his chair scrap on the floor with the quick motion, hitting both palms on the table and leaning his weight forward on them. "You know nothing of me!" How was she able to get him so riled up? Everyone around here seemed to be able to in some aspect. "You think I do things to you just to do them! I was like you in this you know! Oh that's right, you don't and you're too high and mighty to listen before you start talking!"
Sevilin took a breath...and then slowly let it out and sat down as if that just didn't happen, that he didn't loose his cool. Damn it.

And now she had a moment to reflect and chill because quite frankly his reaction stunned her into silence. She watched him stand up, slap his palms against the table and then proceed to yell and she didn't know exactly what to do in response. Then he sat down as though everything was okay again, when it wasn't. It wasn't at all. Her eyes narrowed and flashed and she glared right back at him. "That's not what I said! I said it was my own foolishness that led me to this point, now didn't I? I said had I just been smart enough and waited I might not be in this position. and sometimes Sevilin, you do things to me just to do them!" He'd gotten her even more riled up now, his anger had fed hers and though his was apparently gone and done, hers wasn't. "Congratulations then! We're just alike, you are just as foolish as I am!" She paused for a moment and then continued, "So you know what I'm going through right now, how itchy adn fidgety I feel!"

A slight smirk at Piper's theatrics, and a shake of his head, just leading them into the dining room, with Zahara and Sevilin. just after the shouting match.
"Morning you two."
Neverminding them, and getting breakfast plates for himself and piper and what the hell, having the slaves serve arthur..since Sevilin and Zahara already had eaten he was sure. and settled down at the far end of the table for breakfast, letting them two do whatever it was they did.

His head snapped to her direction again and he felt that bristling feeling, about to again start the yelling...when Malik walked in, surface trash in tow...this time double the amount. For a moment he clenched his fist, holding in that screaming that he wanted to do. No need to give Malik his giggles by watching them fight. Oh but he wasn't done with her yet...she wanted to throw stones...well he could throw bigger ones.
Thus he cleared his throat, brushing his bangs out of his eyes a moment before starting in a horribly calm and controlled tone. "You're foolish if you think I would let you do something so foolish just to get my kicks, Sweeheart." Throwing that in just because he knew it ticked her off to no end. "Contradictory to what you may think, I'm not out to hurt and or maim or kill you." Then a smirk at her and a slight tilt of his head at her. "And I am nowhere near as foolish as you are, for as you pointed out, I know what you're going through. I learned from my mistake the first time...are you going to?"
Thus he broke eye contact with her and turned his attention down the table to the other three that were now sharing space with them. "Morning D'vinns....Murdock." He hated being semi pleasant as well. Though as usual when his mood proved foul, a chitter sounded and then the furry creature was sitting on his forarm, looking for pets.
Oh she did love messing with him sometimes. But she only walked with him as he started for the dinning room, leading them all in there and getting breakfast. And sitting in her seat she stared at the food on the plate for a moment...and contemplated it. No, she didn't know why she didn't have an appetite most of the times, or why she like Malik said ate like a bird. Though she tried even harder to not pay attention to both Sevilin and Zahara at the opposite end of the table. They were at it again already this morning. A look to empty seats at the table...at least her parents weren't up to be exposed to this...though she thought her father may no mind it and in fact take notes. Seemed like another normal day, but with a sigh she picked up her fork and took to her food.

Arthur followed behind Piper and Malik, not wanting to talk to them right now, he was hungry after his little encounter with that thing in the woods. He smiled as he was handed a plate and walked into the dining hall to see Sevilin and Zahara fighting. What's going on? he thought as he looked back and forth between the two before sitting down with his food. He cleared his throat a and gave a small nod to Sevilin to let him know that he got his comment.
But his eyes went over to Zahara for a moment, a worried look on his face. She seemed to be in some sort of pain but he couldn't tell what was wrong. Also she seemed to be yelling at Sevilin, maybe he did it? Not wanting to get into a fight or anything Arthur turned his head back to his plate and started to eat.

Zahara's hand unclenched and lay flat on the table ready to blast him for the usage of that damn nickname she hated more than Lloth herself. But she felt the same way he did about letting Malik see them fight; no need to give the elf his kicks. She took a deep breath and promised herself that no one at the table currently would have any idea of the foolishness she'd committed and the current condition she was in. She forced herself to stop fidgeting and merely tossed her head as though she didn't even care. IT would have been nice to mention the usage of the nickname but all he got for that was a glower. She ran her fingers through her hair making damn sure her hand didn't shake though it clenched again and she studied the table. "I believe we'll have to wait and see, won't we Master Sevilin?" the sarcastic tone couldn't be mistaken. Her eyes scanned over the others who'd joined them at the table and she sat back. "Morning Piper, Arthur." A brilliant smiled turned on Arthur. "You're finding everything to your pleasure here Lord Murdock?"

Malik paid them little to no mind. after all, drow where used to bickering and fighting amoungst themselves. though a slight raise of an eyebrow at her smile to Arthur. interesting. thougha glance to arthur told why. she was playing with him to make him blush. how cute.
"Morning Sevilin. I do hope we aren't interrupting to terribly in the morning's practice? How is you rstudent faring, anyway?"
Of course, he wa eattign while waiting for an answer. curious to see if sevilin would think of her present skill, whatever arguing or namecalling between them aside.
