I have nothing against that, as long as you say it like that. I have no beef with people who just want something to be so, since this is RP and imagination makes things happen. I just have a beef with people who think that they have a sound basis for explaining why something works, when they're actually just bullshitting... and by that I sort of mean the people who are afraid to say "it's how I'm doing it even if it doesn't make sense" and search desperately for explainations.

For example, Ure's opponet in the Barton Branch should forfeit. I've traced his posts and found that his charector lacks any powers that can be used against Ure effectivly. As well as his lack of experiance, with an amazing 15 total posts. Oh well. His loss if I slay him...

Well, it's kinda like the idea by using already magically intune people for preserving magic via a combination of metaphysical and technological prowess. The technology would use the blood, known as what holds life together and used in many cases of magical abilities and would travel through it. When filtered into the blood brain barrier of the mind, they would assist in mental configuration to pass through "antimagic." They would also emit a slight "aura" that would work against anti-magic technology, and are made of soulsteel themselves. In the case of artificial magic, they just emulate magic via nanomachines such as making a fireball via combusting oxygen or creating ice in some way. Or, they open new pathways into the mind and use the general form of the first explanation in a different way.

jello, the problem with that- though i really like your stance- is that there are plenty of head-in-a** elitists who'll throw the book of psychophysics at you if you do something that's foreign. it's like debating why some laws are breakable and others are unbreakable in the matrix.

If you can't and you're willing to admit that, you're mature eough. If you just say "damnit, I can!", then... well, we know where that goes. So, I don't really see where you're getting at, Oob. Nothing is off limits unless it's just being a jackass... at which point nobody wants to hang out with you.
