@Sirius Silverstar
I've been afraid that some acident like that might happen on gaia! Although I've never even heard of any online journal system crashing like that before! I feel for you really, that's horrible.
I have some good stuff in my journal that I decided to store here instead of on my hard disc. Maybe I should transfer all those things to a word document sometime, but I still want to display it - and storing it in 2 places seems like too much hassle...

It's a hassle, but it's an "In case of problems" procedure. That exact scenario is why people make them. I'm sorry Sirius, but that happens sometimes. It's too bad it crashed like that though.

Yus, the backup system hadn't been working since December 2004, but nobody CHECKED it - they assumed it had been working the whole time. Pretty damn irresponsible. And I put a lot of faith into technology.
I have used handwritten journals before too, but a) I write really slowly, because I always NEED it to look nice. So - b) - I'd much rather type, it's faster. [when I do want handwritten entries, I write with a tablet and post an image, or scan a handwritten passage] c) I edit posts and re-word things all the time d) I'm always paranoid of how EASILY someone could get into a handwritten journal. Being paranoid lets people know that I have something to hide... which I do. I'm deathly afraid of being judged. u___u
on craque - I don't think it's a hassle if you do it regularly, unless you compulsively edit your posts, or put it off for months and end up copying months worth of entries over. :3 But that is my personal take - my journal means a lot to me, so I don't mind putting time into it.

Y'know what...don't ******** tell me that 10k is too expensive for a full body commission from me. Don't tell me that my drawings are bad when YOU are the one that asked me if I was interested in drawing your avatar. If you think I draw bad, why the ******** did you ask me for art in the first place?

I hate annoying people. I just hate them to bits and pieces. I wish they'd all just randomly implode or something.

Soranoko YAY, Exit Exams tomorrow! *runs in circles* gonk Hah, you and my baby sister at the same time...I'm sorry. I remember when they made my class take that and got us all worked up and worried over passing it. My GLC bitched at me to "take this seriously and try your hardest - don't just fill in whatever bubble you want and not even look at it" because I finished the English section in about fifteen minutes. And then the next year they're like "haha, just kidding! You didn't need to pass it, silly people!"
I really shouldn't miss chem again tomorrow, but with a foot and a freaking half of snow outside and the roads not cleared, I don't think I can afford to even try to get down my driveway.
...I reeeaaally hope that we get to go see V for Vendetta again on Wednesday. Such a freakin' awesome movie. =D

Heh, I do edit my posts a lot... But I guess it should work if I stored them on a monthy basis or something. :3 In fact, I'll start right NOW!

...the fact that the power went out last night RIGHT before I was about to go buy my new shtuff is irritating. And the fact that the bank is down and I can't get my shtuff from my mule is also irritating.
But DAMN, that's a gorgeous blue sky out there. And not a cloud in sight...from my window, at least. *fingerscrossed* I pray to all gods that that's the last snowstorm we get until November.
