He leaned back and stared wistfully and the ceiling. "I hate Valentine's day." "Doesn't everyone?" "Yeah, everyone but everyone else." Kero stretched and gave a small yawn. "Every year, I spend Valentines either whacked-out-confused, in denial, knowing I'll never find anyone, or feeling like the only person I'd ever want to spend that day with is thousands of miles away, and potentially fictional." Pulling a face, he started for one of the littel chocolate deserts, craving some endorphins, but stopped himself and looked around the room. "Or the ever-fabulous 'he likes someone else' situation. Love those."

I guess there is like some story behind it, and people who were paranoid said things and other people shared stories about Friday the 13th and then it became a superstition. I dunno, I may look it up eventually..."
