"So what happened with you?" Bakura asked. Unbeknown to him, he was trembling lightly. Everything was rather stressful for him.
"How long has it been?" Atem asked, after apologizing to Yugi for leaving without any warning, though it wasn't his fault. "Ember said you were rather depressed, aibou. You shouldn't have been. Boy, have I got some stories to tell you!"

"I dunno..I appered in an alley...started to freakcause I thought I lost you...I found the pharoh he was freaking out...was quite funny because nobody here obeys him...I found that girl from the palace and she told me were you were so I ran all the way here..." Rei gently nzzled him "Im so happy I dident leave you..."
Ember chuckled "no kidding."

"One thing I've missed most of all would have to be running water. You've got no idea how awful it is being pharaoh, aside from having complete control over a whole nation on your own. Every bath I had to be shaved down, everywhere, and then any remaining hairs had to be plucked out." Atem shuddered. "I just appeared on... I don't know where or what, but I got hit by some kind of thing of metal, and it had two wheels and this man was guiding it along..." Bakura frowned, finding it hard to describe. "He hit me with it and we both fell, and there's some kind of stone on the ground and I scraped my knee on it, and the man was shouting something I didn't understand. Then some girl who almost looked like you came up... she led me here, where I saw some boy who looked like the pharaoh, and I attacked him, obviously. Then the girl from the palace told me not to, and I looked around here." Bakura was rather tense. "I don't like it here. It makes my head hurt. People looked at me weird outside. I don't understand what anyone's saying."

Rei sighed softly "thats how I felt when I first came to egypt...Hopefully you'll get used to it intill we can get home....you want to go home correct?" she asked.
"yea plucking is painful..." ember nodded.

"Obviously." Bakura said, nodding. He then looked uncertain. "Well, only if you're with me. And you want to come too, right?" "I shouldn't have had to find out." Atem said. "Now, you all still stay in Kira's place, right? I'd really appreciate a shower right now. Egypt's got lots of sand. And a lot of sand is stuck in places I'd rather not have sand."

Rei nodded "I want to be were every you are...but....do you think we can stay here intill I have the child?With all the advances in medcine it would be safter for both the child and I to stay here for the birth..."

Bakura hesitated. He hadn't really thought of that yet. "Yes, of course... But does that mean you're also going to want to stay while it's an infant? If this place has medicines and stuff, then that's better compared to Egypt... Child and baby deaths and whatnot are very common."

Bakura hesitated again, but much longer this time. "I'm sure I'll have to get used to being here anyway... So of course." He said, kissing her mildly.

There were abruptly voices from somewhere within the house as Atem, Yugi, Ember and Kawi(?) entered. Bakura cringed slightly, holding his head at the sudden sounds. "Yeah, see? He's just in there." Yugi was calling to his yami, who had just asked if Bakura was here. He pointed down the hall, to the bedroom where Rei and Bakura were occupying. The door had been left open. "He's different from the other Bakura, tho. He tried to kill me, I think. You must've gotten on his bad side in Egypt, yami." "Err... you could say that." Atem said, going to the bedroom, poking his head in. "Yugi, try not to mess with this one too much. He's got this deep hatred for me, my past self, obviously, and I think it'll pass on to you." He was shouting over his shoulder to his hikari, obviously in English so Yugi could understand.

Rei looked to atem "go away..and shut the door" she tod him before gently starting to rub bakuras head.

"Does he need some aspirin?" Since it wasn't the pharaoh in control, he didn't know how to speak so the thief Bakura would understand him. With Yugi he shared his own knowledge happily, but clammed up with his past self. He didn't teach the pharaoh Japanese or English. "As long as his body doesn't think of it as some kind of poison or something, it should be okay in a small dose."

"Why doesn't he just give control to the other Bakura? It'd be easier to watch and piece things together than actually be there, 'cause he'd probably end up hurting hims... oh. Never mind." Atem realized that that was probably what the yami wanted. "Er, right. I'm going to take a shower. You can later, and I'm sure there are some clothes around here somewhere that'll fit you two. If not we'll probably end up going shopping later on." He shrugged off the red coat the pharaoh had taken, tossing it at Rei. "Here you go. Sorry about my past self."
