Arlen was forgotten as she ran at river. Nobody was goign to harm kaden. Nobody, she didn't care how drunk she was or what feelings she had to sort out. River was going to pay for touching Kaden like that
"Get away!!" she snarled at her, her claws sliding out of her hands, Blood dripped down since the spots the slid from between her knuckles had healed and she just ripped it over. She swayed on her feet

"River!" Arlen said, pulling away from Ukaia to step inbetween River and Kaden. "Calm down!"
"You too, Ukaia," he said sternly.

She sighed and pushed them both away, kadens frightened eyes met the back of arlen.
"..T-Toto-san!" He cryed and scrambled off the couch. His feet taking him right to Rivers leg, he clung, he didn't hear much all he saw where people trying to keep him away from his toto san and he didn't like the Idea at all.
"..Shu, It's alright kaden we are going out for a while." River glared at Ukaia for acting like she was and again, pushed her out of the way, even though she got hurt, and picked kaden up, who had curious eyes now.
"..Toto-san where are we going?..Is Youbo-san sick?." He asked her tead resting on her shoulder.
"..Yes she is sick, now sleep.."when she whispered that to him, he had reluctantly fallen asleep to her words.

Uakai took a step back. Kaden.. went to river.. She was confused.. and hurt.. terrably.She was.. was his adopted mother, wans't he.. supposed to come to her?
"You can't have him.." she said drunkenly to her.. but she was afraid now.. afraid of getting closer to her afraid of her hurting Kaden.Her claws still out.
"He.. not.. a slave.. "she said her eyes filling with tears

"..No Ukaia, he is not a slave, and I won't allow him to stay in this place with someone who is clearly wasted" River stated mater of factly and sighed heading towards the door.

"Don't.. " it was an almost broken plea.. Uakai stood swayin on the spot. her eyes wide.. terrafied of loosing Kaden, it wasn't her fault. She'd needed to know. Her heart raced as she tried to think of somethign but her head was to muddled to think.
"dont.." she begged.. Why had he gone to River?She didn't understand, her head hurt.. her stomach hurt.. Her heart was hurting so much.. she couldn't loose Kaden.. but he wanted river..

Arlen reached out and put a hand on Ukaia's shoulder, hoping to comfort her, but doubting that he could.

Uakai's claws slid back into her hands.. the blood dripping down her fingers. She looked at arlen.. her eyes wide.. confused.. hurt
"S.. she can't.." she siad to him. She wanted him to make it alright.. She got an idea though.
"Stay.. stay here. I.. i'l go.. "she said hiccuping.. and one hand pressing to her stomach in pain
"I.. i'll leave.. don't.. don't go..

"..Ukaia, stay here, I won't kill him, Sober up and come find me." She said looking at the door before opening it. "..I'll be at the grave yard if you need me, and by god try anything stupid I Will not have mercy on this boy." With that she left, feet padding across the snow.

"NO PLEASE!!" she cried out taking a step foward, and trippign falling to her knees
"no.."she said tears falling hot and fast down her face, trying still why coudln't she leave insted
"no..."she repeated watching her walk down the road with Kaden. he'd get sick.. he went to river.. but she was his care take her.. she hid her face in her hands, sobbing soflty. Everything hurt..

She leaned aginst him. sobbing still
"S.. she t.. took.."seh choaked out.. hicucping a bit and feeling sicker then ever. Her hands were still bleeding from her claws ripping through her own skin. And everything just hurt.
"it hurts!!" she keened into his chest.. the sound pure animal, one of pain.. though not physical
