He remains unblinking. The undead enemies with their inhuman strength cannot break through Insomnia. Upon being set upon by giant tendrils of sandpaper now, that eye would continue to watch. That is right, Insomnia. Continue to stare into that eye. Its gaze seems to capture everything about it, its presence more captivating than anything Insomnia has ever laid its eyes upon. There was an unending sky, swiftly flowing clouds upon different layers of altitude.. endless eternity. Before long that black ink which Jack 'was' would halt its production of undead soldiers, as it was pointless. In fact, it would shrink as though Insomnia was winning. Until Jack took a fluid step forward, that eye remaining upon the same level it has been as though it were simply growing larger in Insomnia's eyes. It was mesmerizing. The entire world was endless sky now. Everyone remains where they are, as though they stood upon an invisible floor. Insomnia could not feel any magic at hand, there was no teleportation spell cast. So where were they? His hands lift, creating a box as his thumb and index fingers meet, and that eye is watching through the box. Insomnia's arms covered in sand would continue to crush through Jack's darkness, coming towards his body.

Insomnia buckled, and the tendrils snapped back into himself, reforming the body that was him. The giant laughed, first softly, and then with ever greater volume. "Do you know why they call me Insomnia?" He asked, back in his original form, albeit covered in sand. His arms spread wide, and he snaps his fingers, both at the same time. The dagger reappears in his hand, the ruby in the hilt glowing with a faint luminescence. Another one appears in his other hand, a perfect copy of the first. The creature moves forward, pointing the daggers at Jack's eyes. The edge of the blade is invisible to any eye, because there is no edge. They end in a void, and are therefore infinetely sharp. He spins them around, watching with more than just his eyes.

she knew what was happening, she touched Matachi's arm almost as if making sure it was real more memories.. she didn't speak now she couldn't what would she tell him? How could she explain what was happening now? She couldn't not in words he would know.. not really. It had to end soon.. she needed it to end soon the knot of tension was going to make her sick and the exhaustion at keeping her power concentrated and ready with her senses. ((edited)) she saw what Insomina meant to do then she jerked forward from Matachi not meaning to her power going out again.. she had been worried she would do something like this from the start but she couldn't help it now.. she could only slow the process.

Matachi held her close making sure to be between here if anything might happen "I've got you hun don't worry Jack has got this." He said smiling softly at her. He was in loads of pain as the sidiion finally closed off her wounds and gave away but he didn't show any of it to her but it was in his eyes.

It would not matter where Insomnia was watching him, the human form was not all that he would entangle. Everything. His smile remains as he replies to Insomnia. "Because you can't sleep, you power hungry mongrel." There was more than that, and he knew, but why go deeper? What were words like that for? Jack was close to his normal form now, except that the darkness continues to flow about his form as though it were liquid ink, it was like staring at a puddle of ink in his shape. His hands lift, before bending at the elbow and lowering. He would then lower his hands to his side as he has stretched. This was all his fighting stance would entail, seemingly full of openings. The world remains as it is, the surroundings mesmerizing if one were to stare too long into the void. "I will give you a word of advice." His head turns just slightly. "Do not attempt what you did minutes ago. The next time it will not bode well for you."

She herd Matachi's comforting words but she had already almost flinched. She nodded some looking back to him giving him a weak smile. "I am okay now.. save what you have." She said lightly knowing when this was over he would be worse off but at least maybe now he understood something he hadn't before, she looked back to them. Hearing Jack's words gave her a light smile knowing he had understood her and knew as well.

The monster smiled kindly. "This will be different." He assured Jack, and the dagger darted from his hand, towards jack. The simple weapon sliced through the air, and everything else it came into contact with. It didn't destroy, cut, or harm, but it was sure death to everything it touched. The ruby in the hilt lost it's glow the second it left his hand, but the blade lost none of it's brutal effectiveness. "Your right. The reason is because I do not sleep." The creature admonished. He drew his other blade along the air, cutting a swath through air, and energy, and through barriers more aincent than either of those. He cut out a sqaure in the sky, and touched it with the hilt of his dagger. "Insomnia." He said, snapping his finger, yet again. Nothing happened, but the sqaure cut in the sky was gone, as if it had never existed, and neither were either Katherine or Matachi.

There was something he did not want to do. Something he never, ever wished to do. To simply command the will of anything living, dead, or nonliving. Something that came before life was given. Voids could be collapsed. Air could be burnt up, and energy spent. Molecules can be placed and replaced, given and taken at will. Only momentarily. Only at the center of his palms. Destruction. A dead God, a walking mystery, a being with no reason to live, and living for no reason at all. The palm of his hand is forward, and nothing fancy would happen. Except a magic trick. There was a dagger flying towards him at an unimaginable speed, and yet his hand movement is unorthodox. The magic trick is: The disappearance of a flying object. Perhaps Insomnia thought that he would catch the dagger and duel? No, he was not going to do that. Perhaps he thought its unequaled blade would pierce him? That did not happen either, well, perhaps in a sense. It was gone, and it would land somewhere Insomnia would soon visit. It would find its way to the rest of the mythical weapons and beasts that plague has taken with it as it has moved along in life. To where the souls of the slain meander about as featureless beasts. "I want to share something with you." He would reach within that darkness of his chest, pulling from it an artifact. A very ancient, rusty longsword. This weapon is nearly a stick of rust, due to age and oxidization. That weapon rests upon his shoulders, rust falling off in shavings. His free hand lifts, index finger wagging a bit. "Now, do not think that I would bring a stick to a fight to the death without reason.. This is a catalyst. You would not know the name, it is too old. But, come to me and I shall show you." He was a trap, always waiting for Insomnia to come to him, perhaps his abilities were too powerful for him to move around and use? Or maybe it was because he has all the time in the world. Being dead already.

(I hate my constraints, but I can't do a thing about them.)
Insomnia smiled as the weapon dissapeared. There were three like it, at least in his possession. Three different blades, yet all were identical, each with an edge to cut anything, and a ruby in the hilt. One he held, Jack had taken another, and the last was in Solemn, and that was what was keeping the rift open. In each the blood red rubies, glowed with an inner fire. "I would like my blade back, now." An invisible tie connected the three weapons together, and pulled, with a weak force that grew stronger with each passing moment. The dagger insides Jack's darkness would clatter uselessly in that place, but the pressure grew ever stronger. The twin in solemn simply stayed where it was, but the pressure grew there too. Space was no barrier for these three items, and neither was the barriers that kept apart the worlds, because their was no power pulling them to each other. The power had been keeping them apart.
The ground shifted, and buckled under these ever growing pressures, and Insomnia stopped smiling. It was impossible for the god's not to notice this. He'd have to deal with them if they came, because this was going to destroy more than jsut a good portion of llyr.

((I am taking that as a we are still standing there)) She was still watching her power had been felt in the more harshly, then the ground again she watched moving her hand in Matachi's grasp.. She took out one of her small blades not to kill anything but to slice her own self open again if she had to, to keep Llyr from falling apart.. To keep things together, the power of that was more powerful than her illusions but nothing she could do was more powerful than herself which was the weapon she herself was. That hadn't been used wouldn't be used maybe not for this.. they had in a way she relized miss read this enemy. He was much more powerful than she believed. She leaned back speaking near Matachi's ear. "Do not try to put anything you have left into me, I need you to save it. We won't lose anything to this." The last part she had said in a comforting tone. She never looked away from them when she spoke to Matachi.
