Diamond stared out of the caves. She was suprised to see all of the humans leave. Last time she encountered with a human, they killed them or trapped them, before leaving. Jewel snorted softly and then wandered out of the cave, tired of being kept in the cave. Diamond soon followed and then Storm. Hungry, he began to gaze, pulling mouthfull of grass. Jewel however headed towards the ocean, after her dam.

*The man slumped against a tree, watching his children crowd around the golden mare who was regaining counciousness. He sighed heavily and wiped his forehead, pushing ashy hair out of the way. He sighed again, quieter, and looked up towards the western sky. The sun was lower in the sky, and he assumed it was around five in the evening. Clouds were swelling, but he coulden't tell if they would bring rain or not. Back on earth he had been a meterologist, but he knew very little about the weather. He flew planes in his spare time, and in his earlier years. He was a good fifty years old and slowly running ragged, feeling that death was right behind him with every step he took, just waiting and watching. Counting every cigarette he smoked, every burger and milkshake he ate, every year that went by, death was counting.*
*He looked at his children once again, feeling awful to be leaving them behind before long. His family hadn't a history of old age caused deaths, his father had died at fifty. His gread grandfather had died at sixty-one. His mother had died at the tender age of thirty-three, and his older brother at Fourty-nine. Yes, he knew his life was reaching it's end, but all his two children had in this world was their pony and their mother. As the sun began to spread it's rays unto the land, they gently hit him and caused him to feel very sleepy, and he did. He fell asleep against a smooth maple tree, his hands folded neatly in his lap and his hat slumped forward.*

Ghost nickered and nuzzled Kipcha's neck. "They did. Good ridance." He said, snorting.
Evander's eyes shot to his son and he smiled, his son could breathe fire. He picked up his head and snorted a pillar of flame from his nostrils to show him that his flame was not something he should be afraid of. He nuzzled Dreamcloud once more, then got to his feet and went to his colt's side. He lowered his head and nuzzled his neck affectionately. He opened his mouth and let a small jet of flame erupt from his jaws.
Prince snorted playfully and darted after his sister, nipping at her flanks. "TAG!!" He called out, then wheeled around, flaring his left wing to give him a sharper turn, and bolted in the other direction.

*Kaio stepped back, not sure of what to think of the flames. He called for his dam once again, almost scared of this creature beside him, not fully aware of who he even was. Dreamcloud slowly stood, children at her sides. She walked slowly towards her foal and he called more impatiently for her. Turning, he ran into Evander, falling to a heap on the ground, sneezing, and calling again before standing up. As she finally made it there, she nuzzled Evander and let Kaio nurse to his heart's content.*

*Sepsis was laying in the tall grasses near the mountain. Her growing filly lazily grazing, swishing her tail. The two spiraled down from the adrenaline rush earlier, still tense and alert.*

*As the herd recoiled from the invasion, settling back into their serene days, the weather was brewing and churning in the sky. The clouds slowly began to spiral and buldge like that of a deformed creature's muscles and joints. Rain was kept at bay, but a monsterous storm looked to be forming. After several hours, the clouds subsided and the sky was a dank blue, like that of the appetite of an old, ill mare. Sepsis watched the sky with question. She had not done that, and no other creature could control the weather like that but Mystekai, who was never comming back.*

*As night set on, it quickly progressed. Drawing cooler and cooler with each passing hour. The lakes let out a foggy mist, cold as ice. The valleys and hills dipped and rose, giving way to a thick blanket of the mist. Only on the tallest of hills could one see past it.
Through that mist came the soft, quick thuds of a few horses. As to where they had come from, not even they knew. Back in the plains of America had these two lived, along with a peculiar zebra stallion, old as dirt. A misty fog such as this had set across the land, though no lakes stood near. It swept them away to this land and when they came to they were walking upon foreign soil, not aware of anything but themselves. One was a beautifuly sillouted champagne mare, rounded finely around her quarters, and the other was a yearling, the strangest thing the world had seen. He trotted like a horse with the same elegant gait, but when your eyes rested upon him his mane was erect, his skin was striped.*

*and as with the two new creatures, came the same with the man and the children. As the mist slowly subsided, it revealed the dew-covered land and man had left the island without a trace. No shawl nor lace, not even a footprint, not even a hair. The mist carried them away and all their proof, the plane crash, the crate, the wildflower ring round Dreamcloud's neck. It was as if they had never been.*

Ghost awoke very early the following morning beside Kipcha, his wing draped over her. It was not even quite dawn yet. He stood up and stretched, shivering his body free of morning dew. He looked around to where the children usually slept with their father, but, much to his disturbance, they were gone. Before the rest of the herd awoke, he took to the skies and scanned the island from perhaps a 1000+ feet in the air. He thought he must be dreaming....the plane was gone, there was no sign of a crash. He could not find the humans anywhere, nor their pony. He snorted and then corkscrewed midair and dove back to his herd.

((next post is#1000 biggrin ))
*Spellbound galloped across the damp plains, his dam just behind. The crisp air flowing through her thin hair, elegant and whimsical she constantly was. Her strange colt sniffed the air anxiously, knowing there had to be some sort of life here on this island. The two cared not where they had come from, it was a lonely place with pitiful foilage and little life. Mist seemed to drip from the zorse's skin and muzzle, as if he himself was made of it. He seemed a shooting star, a comet way up in the infinate night sky, searching the clearing island for others.*
*As he came upon them, Ashwood stopping soon behind him, he merely smelled the air, raising his head and closing his eyes. He watched them silently for as long as he liked. Ashwood grazing lightly beside him.*

(Yay! biggrin )
Diamond opened her eyes, and looked around the herd. She counted each one of the herd members, hopeing they where all there. Seeing that Ghost was gone, Diamond didn't worry, knowing where he would be searching for his foals. Getting up to her feet, Diamond was covered with dew, her coat feeling sticky and damp. Not only her coat was sticky but the air was sticky to. Diamond shook herself, from head to hoof. Her coat was slighter, lighter from the dew but when she shook it off, as much as she could, her coat was back to her normal color. Seeing that Storm had gone out for his morning routine threw the jungle, Diamond looked for Jewel. Jewel was standing grazing peacefully. When seeing her dam, Jewel gave a soft nicker. Her dam gave one back, and slowly walked over to her to greet her. But then she stopped in her tracks. She lifted her head to the sky, and sniffed. She could also hear hoofbeats approaching the herd. Diamond snorted loudly, shook her head and nuzzled Jewel.

*Spellbound trotted slowly inland. Somewhat unaware of the herd he neighed oddly into the still misty island. Stopping as he did, and waiting for several minutes before trudging on through the damn sod. Ashwood walked quickly behind him, her champagne coat blending naturally with the wheat and grass fields they resided in.*

((Sorry I've been taking so long lately guys, I was couting on my dad's laptop to be hooked up over break, aaaand it wasn't. Oh, congrats on the 1000th post, Angel!))
Before Ghost came to the ground out of his corkscrew he caught new scents on the wind. He snapped his wings open and soared back into the air, keeping just below the clouds. He kept in a wide circle over the herd, but his eyes were scanning the rest of what land he could see from his altitude.
Evander awoke suddenly, his eyes flashing open and glowing. He silently got to his feet and trotted away from the herd a ways, his head high and nostrils flared. Catching the new scents as well, he snorted and snapped his fangs closed with an audible snap. He caught sight of Ghost high above out of the corner of his eye and looked up. He sent a plume of flame into the air.

((I meant to say damp sod..Not damn >.< lol))
*Ashwood swiveled her ears sideways, unsure of the burst of flame. She looked around, pricking her ears and sniffng at the musty air. Spell walked inland farther until he came in view of the herd. He whinied, swishing his tail and stepping in place. The herd pricked their ears towards him, curious of the strange colt. His mane was erect, his tail like that of the lion, and his coat like that of the rippling sand after a churning tide.*
