Bakura blinked, looking up at Rei. Sure, he ached, but what should she be sorry about? Bakura wasn't aware at all of what had happaned. "Why? What do you mean?"

Bakura was silent, then remembered waking up with Marik. "Oh!" He said, thinking he knew why. "Did Marik and me-- er, the other me, I think-- get all physical? Crap. I'm sorry you had to see that-- if you saw anything."

Bakura looked slightly confused. "Ryou? But why would he want to do anything with Marik?" Yes, the yami could be utterly thick-headed at times.

Bakura was silent as it slowly pieced together in his mind. "You mean--?!" His eyes widened slightly, then narrowed, shining with anger. He was silent for a moment, then sighed. "Well, if it was for the best, I guess I can't argue..."

Bakura looked up at Rei. "Well, Ryou was put in control so Marik could, um-- for obvious reasons. But the body has gotten, um, used to that kind of stuff, so the boy wasn't really hurt physically. It was mentally that he was injured. So there'll be no going to school. And the pharaoh and his little group are going to get worried, and they'll come here and learn what happened. Malik and Ryou have managed to befriend the group, so Marik and I will easily be able to use those two's souls as leverage to get the pharaoh. His guard is going to be down because of what Marik did, which is just what we need to really get him."

Rei blinked.Oddly that made sence. "Alright..." she said saying nothing more.She gently played with his hair as he sat by the bed.

"Hey, Ryou's gonna be the one who really has to deal with it." Bakura said, chuckling slightly. His eyes seemed to shine with thoughts of getting back at the pharaoh. "It's gonna be okay for you. It'll all fade away soon."
