Basically a really really big fan of anime/manga/japanese things to the point of obsession. That's the best definition I can give for it anyway.

EXPLAINATION: STONE OF HERO
What they are: The Stones of Hero are crystals that hold ancient magic used on mechs by the Sorians. These magical mechs were named Gymelefs and were the prized possessions and a symbol of peace to the Sorians. Each stone was used by different people to fit their personalities and fighting style. The elements that represented that were: Dark, Light, Fire, Water, Earth, Wind.
Dark focuses on one hit kills and the ability to hide. Light focuses on the ability to heal and defend. It is mostly balanced. Fire focuses on the strength and power of the mech. Water focuses on the agility and firing speed of the mech Earth forcuses on endurance. Wind focuses on agility and stealth.
Up until the era of Gundams and mass production of mechs, the stones were used a lot among pilots. Because of the increased abuse of the stone by the users to prove authority, all but 6 of the stones were destroyed....the 6 were one of each of the different types.
They were kept in the Church of Selias on a high up alter which was under a roof window....waiting for the right people to come and claim use of them.
How they work: The stones have been 'cursed' to wait for the people with the purest hearts to claim. One the right person gets their hands on the right stone, the stone will be activated at the climax of battle. Until then, the stones will seem like normal stones and will not shine it's color.
What it does: Once the stone is used, the mech will change shape to resemble a gymelef AND it's original design. The armor of the mech will increase, as so will it's maxium energy level AND the strength of it's weapons.
After the first activation, a new system will appear on the system select window of a mech. This new system will be named 'Celestial'. The code to activate the system...well there is no code. If it's the right pilot in the cockpit and the pilot truely needs it, the system will activate on command.
If another pilot attempts to steal the stone, the stone will basicly shock the brain and the pilot will be out for about 2 weeks.
How to get rid of it: outside the Church of Selias, in the courtyard, there is a neatly carved circle with the symbole of Sorians in it. Drive your mech into the circle and enter the church.
Go to the alter of stones and basicly, just tell the alter you dont want the stone anymore. Go back out and your mech will be back to normal. The 'Celestial' system will be removed, the upgrades outside of the mech will be gone and the stone will appear back on the alter.
-------------------------------END-------------------------------
I'll add more if I think of anything else.
