LogTimeKeeper I wish I was in a Band-lation. There's this girl I like in my Band and I think she likes me, but I'm not sure. Like not 100%. Should I ask her out? She would be my first girlfriend and I don't wanna make a fool of myself if I think she'll say no. The only way to know for sure if she's into you is to ask. Go for it. If she does deny you, just know it's part of life. At least you tried. Or... You could always have other ppl in her section or other friends you have in band check it out for you. From my experiences ppl in band seem to be close, so you could probably get some help pretty easliy.

we hav 4 band-lationships (i'm only in 8th grade)
one is my 2 bffs, both percussion
there's a clarinet boy and trumpet girl
the trumpet's girl ex, a french horn boy, was liked by a french horn girl and they went out but broke up after only 2 weeks
the same french horn girl is now goin out with a trumpet boy
and the last one is an oboe girl and percussion boy who cheated on 2/3 of his ex-gfs
lots of drama...
btw, i notice how come so many ppl r crushin on sax boys....XD

Hmm.... This Is Actually Very Common At My School
Flute-Percussionist
Clarinet-Trumpet
French Horn-Trombone (Me..)
Tuba-Tenor
Flute-Tuba
Baritone-Saxophone (Eheh)
All Of Those Have Been Going On For At Least 1 Month
The Flute and Percussionist Have Been Dating For A Year And A Half.
Our Band Stays Intact. Especially On Unison Parts (;

im the only one in my band with a band-lationship. its also my first relationship but ya people make fun of us all the time
they say that he caught me with a flute at band camp...i have dirty friends.... sweatdrop

(sorry for miniranting-it just gets on my nerves)

...around 30. There's 70 kids in our band. That's 60 kids. I'm one of the 10 single kids. And the only flute w/o a boyfriend.

I have about a 120 person marching band. there are 30 relationships. Thats about 60 people. half the band. xD

yeah, a fair number of people date within the band. personally, i can't imagine dating someone who isn't a musician, so that leaves band and orchestra (preferably band). wink
|

Sousa/Trumpet Guy + Guard Girl Okay, so, that's 16 definate relationships in my band...and I know there's a couple more I'm forgetting. >< It's a known fact that a good 5 or 6 of those couples have taken part in at least some sexual activity, also. : One couple did it in the guard storage room, another behind the timpani, it goes on and on...Let's just say I'm a part of a very horny band. 3nodding sounds like the guard are the "band sluts". god knows its that way at my school.

quad drummer-guard girl (two years)
other quad drummer-another guard girl (three years)
second bass drummer-clarinet player (since seventh grade, they are now juniors)
third bass drummer-guard girl (recently ended)
trumpet player-girl tuba player(on and off)
guard girl-snare drummer (on and off)
hmm who am I missing???
oh yeah!
haha,
me (mallet/flute player) and my mellophone player! (two weeks)(ver short compared to the rest)
i was dating the snare drummer who is now dating the guard girl, but we had been really good friends before and it got awkward...but now its worse because we dont talk at all...

within my group of friends I think there is about 3, me and my boyfriend, my friend and my best friends cousin (who is in sixth grade and she is in eight) and of two more of my friends who are dating. When our BD director found out about Tifini and Mikey (sixth and eighth grade couple) is eyes did this eek for a second.
