((Ah, missed so much already...and all the good stuff too. Yea, I kinda skimmed through the previous posts, so I'm a bit lost. Fire, would you mind filling me in on some main parts. I understand that we have an "Angel" now, but in the way beginning it was kinda like you being Angel and then "Angel" showed up at the same time...so I wasn't sure if that was on accident, but I'm a little lost...

@ Minty: Holy lemony snicket! I totally forgot about that letter thing! gonk ))

Yusuke slumped in his bed.
Something was nagging him on the back of his mind.
He was sure it was something important...
Very important...

Important...

Napolde...

Letter?...

...

"AH MUTHAF [awooga] ER! The note, the Napolde, the temple, the GAH! gonk " Yusuke slapped himself on the forehead.
But the gang probably left anyway since it was getting pretty late.
He just kinda sat there and cussed at himself, hoping Nap would fill him in on the goods when she came back.

((That, and Angel's captor is acting like a kid and smiling a lot... Not acting very guard-ish... *HINT HINT!*))

"Bye!" Angel waved to the people who decided to stay behind at Genkai's.

"You're not very good at this, are you?" Yaru asked, looking up at Angel as he jumped two more of his pieces.

Angel walked becide her, slipping his hand into hers and giving it a soft squeeze.

"Oh, so helpful" He replied, rolling his eyes and moving. "King me."

((...I didn't want to say anything... But I feel the same... sweatdrop ))

"Do you want me to carry you so you can sleep?" He offered.

He cought the piece, smiling. "So I was won--" "Kid!" He gasped and turned around, falling off the bed when he saw the other demon from before at the door. "What are you doing?!"
"I-I-I I was j-just..."
"You know what master Inutoushi said! You can't let him go!" The demon snarled.
"I didn't! I was ju--" He was cut off when the demon blasted him with an energyball, sending him crashing into the wall.

((Yes. That works, then.))

"You can't be that heavy, can you?" He replied in a joking tone, smiling.

"Shut up." The demon growled at him, watching Yaru stand up. "Get him back in chains, and don't let me catch you letting him out like that again." He left quickly, slamming the door to the room closed.
Yaru snapped his fingers, putting loose chains around Angel. His hood had slipped down, showing his face. He was a kid. No older then ten or eleven. He had silver hair and eyes. Two aentenni popped up on either side of his head, glowing a soft whitish color. "...Sorry..."

"Alright. I will." He replied, quickly picking her up bridal-style. "You're right. You way as much as a ton a bricks!" He said, smiling widely. "Lay off the chocolate, would you?"

"...I don't know... He just said I owed him my life... So I had to do everything he said..."

Napolde's ears appeared after the 'long silence' between Rose and Kurama. Her ears heard mumbles of the thought conversation, but she tried acting like she didn't notice it. Then she heard Yusuke cussing far of in the distance.
< Yep. He just remembered about the letter...>

As soon as Rose left, Botan let Napolde upon her oar to travel back home.

I don't think that's Angel.

Why do you say that, Napolde? You've barely met the guy.

Well, he is really quiet. And what's up with 'the portal'? I haven't heard one of those since my Grandma told me about them in fairy tales. I wonder...

Wonder about what?... Don't worry, I won't say a word...

I wonder if it's Inu... But please, Botan, don't say anything!

Of course I won't. Well, first stop Yusuke's house.

Botan dropped Napolde off, saying goodnight to each other. Napolde crawled into bed, forgetting tomorrow was a holiday and she didn't have to wake up early.

((Sorry about the 'ninja invasion'. My brother was learning how to type codes, wanted to try a new one, and hit 'submit' instead of 'preview'...so..voila! Gosh! I wonder how long the guilds would be shut down. I hope it goes on tomorrow at least ^.^ 'Night ~`~,~@ ))

"That makes it sound like I was a girl..." He said, smiling.

"I'd like that." Yaru replied, smiling and nodding. "Maybe I can find a nice spot to stay nearby you guys! Like an old attic or something!"
