((Since Tramer's last post was well over 24 hours ago I will reasess the situation to keep this going. The arrow hit Tramer, he is now in a coma, the evil aura that some could feel around him has disipated, but we do not know if Dericos had been defeated. The Explosion happened like in Ty's post.))

After the explosion happened, Epotheros almost completely forgot about Dericos. He noticed also that Tramer, Larien and himself were fine, but it seemed the further away you were the more damage the landscape sustained as well as the monsters. That's where it hit him, where was Clover? Was she killed in the blast? Nothing would be more painful to him at the moment than to have her die in an explosion that he was partly to blame. "Clover!" he called out runing over to where she was only to find a large black hole.

"She's fine."
TY reopened the hole, reveiling Clover just a few feet below the ground. She was cold, possibly shaken up, but otherwise fine. Completely sheltered from the blast.

Clover shook her head and ran her hand down her arms and the rest of her body that was now piled on the moist ground what appeared to be some underground cave. She looked up and in a blur what had just happened flashed through her eyes. She had released the arrow towards Tramer and then there was some sort of explosion. She had no idea what could have cause the blast. All she remembered was falling before being the explosion could take her away from the world of the living. How she had fallen was a mystery to her, but she was thankful. Clover then noticed voices and readjusted her eyes. Now she could see out of the hole, and assumed the voices had come from the group she traveled with. Only one question plagued her mind over all the others: had the arrow purged the evil from Tramer?

Epotheros reached his hands down into the hole where Clover was and offered her a hand to help pull her out. When she was out though, Epotheros un latched his cape from were it was fastned to his armor and wrapped it around Clover, who's skin had a slight purplish hue from being exposed from the cold. Hopefully his cape that was still warm from her body would help. "Let's get you warmed up, your lips are blue," Epotheros joked as he led her awa from the site and towards the horses. If Tramer does not supress Dericos even with the help of Larien standing over him, he wanted to get Clover away from him as soon as possible. Ty and Larien should be able to finish him off if he was to revive himself, since he would nearly be out of magical energy.

((sorry for absence things have been crazy here at home))

Dericos jerked his swords attempting to free them from Epotheros’s grasp, but Epotheros held on far to tightly. Dericos was then bound by Larien’s vines, Dericos knew he had no way to shield himself from Clover so he decided to try and take her with him, he released a sudden burst of energy instantly melting the ice that had accumulated on the barrier just as Clover’s arrow impacted on Tramer’s chest. The barrier exploded tarring apart everything surrounding the it, Tramer fell to the ground un-conches

With Dericos being severely weakened Tramer seized the opportunity and attacked attempting to banish the prescience in his mind once and for all

The sight of Epotheros’ hand was more than welcoming, as she rose to her feet. Clover grasped the offered appendage, lifting herself with much aid out of the dark hole. Still shivering she produced a weak smile. She felt an added weight and realized that he had draped his own cape around her shoulders. Warmth overtook her stiffened figure, lessening the velocity of the shivers racking her body. She quirked a corner of her mouth when Epotheros commented on her lips; now she matched. The thought made her laugh in her mind, but only there. She let herself be directed by his presence towards the horses, enjoying the comfort of the thick cloth. She shot a glance over her shoulder to see Tramer laying on the ground. "I hope he's alright," she thought silently as her gaze returned to the path before her.

Wjen they reached the horses, Epotheros left Clover with out saying a word and trudged over to where his sword had impailed the ground. He removed the tip from the hard earth with a quick tug and slung it into its sheath wich rested on his back. Epotheros then walked over to where Tramer was laying. "He's going to do this on his own," he coldly remarked, before picking Tramer up and throwing him over his shoulder. "Ty do you know of any way to seal his magical abilities in the physical world, so he would pose not threat to us if Dericos wins the battle. Also Ty, could you hold those swords in a safe palce as well?"

Epotheros then repositioned Tramer's body so it would be easier to carry and joged off towards the horses. He then placed Tramer on the back of his horse and mounted Shadow, "Let's head back to the camp, we need to relax a while and regain some of our strength."

Ty's words were spoken simply and abruptly.
"The swords I can hide easily enough, but sealing his magic away from his body would not so simple a task for me...but that doesn't mean I can't try."
Then without touching the swords, he sent them to a place far away, yet close at hand. A place that he had found where none could enter without his help.
He then began on the original requset asked of him, attempting to send away only parts of Tramer, not wishing to remove his whole body from their presence, the whole time sure to not take anything vital, nor disconfigure him in anyway. Ty did not manage to remove all of Tramer's abilities for many of then were built into his memories, but Ty was able to diminish his friend's powers to a little less than half. Each piece he took from Tramer, he hid in a different place, not risking an accidental discovery of their hiding place.
Ty was nearly amazed. He had never thought that possible, that he should take anothers abilities away from them. Maybe it had only been possible because Tramer had not been able to fight him for it...Ty did not know.
"The swords are safe, as you asked. His magics I have been able to reduce to little less than half, but that is the best I can do without endangering his life and ours. I am not so skilled in the hiding of one's powers."

When they had madde it back to camp, Epotheros placed Tramer on the ground by the fire so he would be easy to spot in the darkness of the night if he were to move. He aslos did not sleep well that night, but in the early morning his eyes ladened with sleep closed and he drifted off to sleep. He awoke less than two hours latter as the moning sun begain to lick his face. Tramer was still laying in front of him and the others seemed to be asleep.

"Every one up!" he barked. "I think it is our best intrest if Clover and I travel ahead while, Larien and Ty take care of Tramer until he wakes. When he wakes and you are asured that it is the genuine Tramer, meet us at this location." Epotheros then pulled out the map and Showed both Ty and Larien the island where they were headed. "I know the three of you can travle ground far more quickly than either Clover or I, so you should be able to catch up with little difficulty."

Epotheros then made his way towards Shadow and strapped up all of his bags and supplies. He then mounted his stead and waited for Clover to prepare herself before they left.

((I did this so that we could continue with the story while Tramer gets done what ever he has to get done.))

((I live near Tramer and I talked to him resently. He told me to inform you that his computer is down and he hasn't been able to get online resently. He is trying to fix the problem, but doesn't know how long it will take.))

((Sorry, I’ve been busy with classes. Pre-med is not easy. I feel like I’ve done the amount of studying I would do for an exam and this is just this first week of classes. Eeeek.))
Clover followed silently. She continually thought of how Tramer’s mind was set up. She knew that the lowest floor of the huge grown over library was his sanctuary, the only safe place for him against the dark dragon. Though the chains were strongly bond when she was sucked into the place there was little questioning that they would soon brake. Then Tramer would have to take Dericos down as efficiently as possible or his battle would be even more taxing on his being than the unwelcome guests had already been. With all of these worries and thoughts processing through Clover’s mind she finally slept to only wake up to what seemed only minutes later to Epotheros barking orders.

A small smile graced her features as she gathered her belongings and mounted Alfie a few minutes after Epotheros had done the same to Shadow. She was relieved that what seemed to be a giant deterrent in their quest had subsided. Though shivers occasionally ran up her spine she was determined to forget anything threatening from the past to focus and the present so that the future would be easier for her mind to digest.

((It's allright, I'm back to school as well and since it is my first semester of College it's kind of odd. Doesn't seem as hard as everyone makes it out to be, but that may just be because I am working on a geology major and not pre-med. xd ))

The next day and a half worth of traveling was rather relaxing and uneventful. The two only stopped to get some water from the stream, eat or rest. Soon enought they entered a small fishing village on the coast of the main land. A mile or two off shore there was a large island that was to be their destination. While walking through the village, the villagers seemed to resent Clover's presence and some of the shops even refused to do buisness or even provide information for the pair. Finally Epotheros was able to get a fisherman to talk. When Epothers asked him if there were any faeries that chartered out to the island the fishman only laughed and said, "No one wants to go there so it is a waste for one." Next Epotheros decided to rent a boat that could carry him, Clover and their pack animals safely to the island. The fisher man quickly rented them a boat, but at a much steeper price than what he would charge others. Before leaving the fisherman said, "I don't know why ye would take yer time to go to that place. Ain't nothing but trouble happens there."

With the boat loaded the couple set off towards the island. As they neared Epotheros could clearly make out what appeared to be a large but anchient city. The structured appeared to be over one thousand years old, and they were not in line with the current forms of castles but resembled the city of the Roman Empire. When they landed, two men dressed in bronze helmets decorated with a brush of feathers, as well as armor detailed to look like a bare human male's torso. They also wore a studded leather skirt and had snadles for their foot wear. The weapons they carried were spears, accompanied by a wade, but short double edged sword, and a large square shield with a large bass ball in the middle. The most shocking feature about them though were their eyebrows. They were a dark cerulian.

The two of them imediatly surrounded Epotheros and held their spear tips to his sides. "What do you want outsider, and why do you have one of ours with you."

"Well perhaps if you could withdraw your weapons from my face, I could tell you," Epotheros replied firmly. The two then took a step back but remained in striking distance of Epotheros. "I do believe I have some information that would greatly affect your people and I advise you take us to your commander. She has a special ability that he may like to see."

The two guard then escorted Epotheros and Clover at spear point, therough the gates and deeper inside the city. Passing many curious people each with the same, unique coloration of hair. Dark blue. The people though seemed to stare at Epotheros with the same malicious behavior, the villagers at the fishing port showed to Clover earlier. In a few moments though, they were wisked away to the Emperors palace, but were met with more guards as the two entered the same chamber as the others leader. "So what is this you believe will amaze me, boy?" The Emperor said in a cynical voice

"It is not I who has the amzing ability, sir but her," Epotheros said motioning to Clover. "Show him Clover," he wispered to her as one of the centurions poded her forward with teh back of his spear.

((Well the two sernian guards are dressed much like centurions from Rome, just if you couldn't figure out what they looked like from the description. Also I will make it possible for Tramer, Ty and Larien to get in in a few more posts.))

The journey was relaxing until they reached a shore-side fishing town. The village seemed, well Clover thought that they were rude. For some reason their disgusted stares bore into her with malice and distaste. She refused to let their behavior bother her. Instead she smiled, though it was only a façade. A true smile couldn’t genuinely grace the face of anyone in her position.

Again she wasn’t surprised when a fisherman swindled the price of a boat rental. She felt guilty for the overcharging. Something in her felt remorse for the ignorant villagers. Obviously Clover’s appearance sparked their skepticism. If they only knew that she had never stepped foot on the island that Epotheros and she were now traveling to. Their narrow minds only saw what they knew instead of expanding their acceptance for others.

Nothing could keep Clover from looking about with an odd expression of shock when they reached the island. The inhabitants all adorned deep cerulean hair, a trait she hadn’t seen since her village had burned. Only in reflections of herself had she ever viewed that unique feature since that dreary day. For the first time in a way she felt like she belonged, but at the same time she felt separated from the place. Yes, she obviously shared an ancestral trait with these people, the Sernians. In no way had she been raised within their culture, therefore she didn’t affiliate herself with them in a serious sense.

Upon reaching the Emperor Clover dreaded what was to come. What if her powers were a fluke, or something all of the Serians possessed? What if she was just making a fool out of herself? Her anxiety flared when Epotheros urged her to give them a demonstration. Nervous beads of sweat clung to her brow as she lift her hands as though cupping the air in them. Then with her mind made up she summoned a bit of light to ball up, hovering above her cupped palms.

The Emperor's brow wrinkled with a hint of suprise when Clover demonstrated that she had the light ability, but he swifly shot it down by saying, "That is nothing compared to what the high priest fifty years ago were able to do. You lack the skill required for it to have any effect!"

Epotheros then spoke up, "Not to speak out of place, but this is why we have travled here. We need for her to become stronger. She has been able to slay several dark enemies with this tecnique before, but she has had some difficulty with it."

"Ah," the Emperor replied, "You need training. The training though requires much mental preperation, and has been recorded to have caused mental instability in those who were not worthy. Just because you were born of the blood line does not mean you can weild it. Our high preist can provide the traing, but if you are indeed unworthy, you can lose all your power. Do you accept knowing these risks."
