Oz continued searching for Buffy with the book. Maybe she's out partoling? No, it's the middle of the day, too soon. He swung the door open and saw Lorne and Willow. Oz stood in silence for a moment or two. It felt longer to him. realizing that there was no chance for a relationship between him and Willow, other than just friends, Oz could not help but to just stand there. Willow was still in love with Tara. No question. Why else would he look like her? But why him? He took a deep breath as he begun to walk toward them with the book.
"Uh, hey Willow. I think I found something that might explain what is going on with me." Oz waved the book a bit, making sure he didn't lose the page. He looked at her, then at Lorne, then back to her.

Willow watched Tara enter the room... Oz rather. It was just too odd. Her heart just flopped over. "Hey.... Oz....Let me see. I was just going to do a cleanse, and then start working on you right after...Are you...ok?"She was on the floor on her knees in the center of the pentacle. Herbs and incense were smoking an swirling around her, enveloping her in a smoky haze.
((there isn't a door for oz to swing open. just the bottom of the stairs going directly into the common room))

Phoenix was waiting for the chinese food in the livingroom, and heard the knock on the door.
She stood and began walking to the door, pulling the money out of her pocket. "Coming," she said loudly as she opened the door - and that was not the chinese food. That was a very pretty couple. With suitcases. More Slayer? More Watcher?
Never being good at greeting, she stared and then turned to yell, "Buffy! Companyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!"After a heartbeat, she turned back to the new folk, and swept back her arm in a grand welcoming gesture.
"Come in," Phoenix intoned, smiling.
"May I take your coat?" When they did so, she peeked behind them. No chinese. She sighed deeply, lamenting her empty stomach.

When the redhead yelled for Buffy, Fred blinked several times and turned to look at Wesley, then following him into the house. She handed her coat over to the girl, smiling politely, and introduced herself.
"Hi... I'm Winifred Burkle, but ya'll can call me Fred.. Or not.... Winifred's fine, of course, it really doesn't make a licka difference.. but my friends tend to call me Fred.. not that you're my friend, I mean, not to be rude acourse, cuz you could end up being my friend, or not, but either way, I'm just sayin' you could call me Fred if ya wanted to..."
She paused to take a breath and sighed.
"Nevermind. How're you doin'?"

Buffy looked at Tara's body over Oz's self, and no matter who's eyes those may be, they clearly looked at Willow with some serious emotion.
Oh, god. Poor Oz.

Phoenix hung up the coats in the closet, then replied, "Um.. I'm fine, Fred, thanks?"She faced the newcomers and informed them, "My name's Phoenix." She paused to look them over again. "Want some coffee? Or tea? Soda?"
Phoenix shrugged, headed toward the hallway door at the other side of the livingroom, opened the door, yelled for Buffy again, then opened the kitchen door on the right, letting it swing behind her, hoping the mouse and her man didn't get hit by it.
She walked into the kitchen, headed to the fridge, and saw Dawn passed out on the floor.
"Oh, crap. Things in this house are just insane," she mumbled as she knelt down next to the girl, lightly tapping Dawn's cheek.
"Dawn....you're gonna need to wake up, Dawn. Come on, what happened?"

Dawn groaned somewhat groggily and opened her eyes, what had happened? ugh she passed out and must have hit her head. "Ugh" she grunted to let the girl know she was awake again. She waited a few minutes to get her bearings "must have been that damn spell I did, they should have a warning or something. Don't do spells for personal gain" Dawn smiled at the girl and recognised her as Pheonix. "Thanks for that" Dawn said as she slowly made herself get into a sitting position and leant against the cupboard door.

Angel had been trying to calm down Lorne when Willow and Buffy walked in. Angel returned Buffy's kiss with his own and he smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close. Then, remembering his green friend, he looked back up at the stressed demon and then at Buffy.
"Lorne says Atticus is in danger or something..."

"How do you feel about this weekend?" Buffy asked, murmuring into Angel's ear.
Then he mentioned Lorne, and Atticus.
"Um... I'm sure he'll be just fine."
She was more than anxious to leave all this crap behind for a few weeks.

"You don't understand, Sweetness..." Lorne said to Buffy. "It has already happened...he shouldn't have left the mansion today...he was taken! By who...I...am not sure, but he was taken by people who want to do terrible things to him! I don't know what's going on!"

Wesley watched the redhead leave."Didn't even give me a chance to introduce myself."He said as he looked around,it looked bigger then it did outside."Guess we'll have to walk around to find Angel..."Wes said as he started to walk away from the entrace,deep into the mansion.Fred right by his side.

Oz shook his head back into the reality that was the room. He quickly gave the book to Willow, pointing at a passage that talked about a mind spell that influenced the heart's deepest desire, or something of the sort.
"This has to be the spell, Willow."
Oz glanced over at Buffy and Angel, trying hard not to demonstrate the awkwardness that was being Willow's true love, except not.

Dawn got up and made herself a glass of water, passing out was no fun and she had a lump on the back of her head thanks to the cupboard door. "Pheonix do you mind getting a bad of frozen peas please?" she asked as she sat herself at the kitchen table. God her head hurt she thought as the back of her neck, shoulders and skull throbbed with dull pain. She had painkillers in her handbag and grabbed the packet, she took one out and swollowed it.

"Oh, Buffy I almost forgot," began Oz. "I searched and searched on that Atticus guy and found nothing. So, I'm thinking that you're gonna have to talk to him and ask him yourself what's up. Sorry."
Silence built into the room. It felt like hours before anyone said anything after that.

As the sun continued to be embraced by the blanket known as the sky, a woman walked in the direction of the mansion. Her long dark hair shined silky smooth, every strand playfully bouncing against another. Her eyes, emerald green eyes, pierced through to anyone as they twinkled with a vibrant glow. Such eyes seem too perfect to be real, but they were. Natural emerald green eyes. Her fair skin kissed the softest of textures. She must have stood 5’10’’ easy. A beauty to see, beneficial for her as to make others ignore what seemed wrong. Her pearl white dressed flowed under her coat as she walked toward the front door of the mansion. Her finger pressed against door bell and she waited quietly for an answer.
