_______Vincent's sword tasted blood once more, carving a relatively shallow wound into a man's back before Vincent descended upon him, delivering the fatal blow with a short sword concealed within his left sleeve, attached to the wrist. In a quick burst, he exerted his influence on the force of gravitation, sending a small group of people falling to their knees. Before they even realized what had happened, Vincent rushed forward and slew each one, savoring each beautiful moment. _______Soon, Vincent looked around to find the crowd had emptied from this stretch of streets and shops. "Why must the fun always end so soon?" he said with a sigh. He swung his sword a final time, manipulating inertia as he had before to effortlessly remove the blood from the surface of his sword. He took another moment to look at it, as he had before it all started. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" he whispered to no one in particular. He didn't often get the chance to admire the weapon, but it was indeed a work of art. Which it was, in the most literal sense of the word. It was wrought of the strongest metals, but it was not meant to be used. "You would have rotted in that dungeon if it weren't for me," Vincent whispered as he recalled the turn of events which had brought him his most treasured weapon.

"Nope." the man said, having travelled his way through the town to get the deserted streets. "Quite grisly if I do say so myself." he said as he looked around at the bodies and blood soaked streets, making a comment.
Now, when many run, one has to wonder why this man moved in the opposite direction, towards the destruction rather than away from it. Well, the answer was simple, he was drawn to death, and here, there was much of it to be had, and naturally, he moved towards it. And what better than to find the cause of such death?
A twisted grin cracked upon his face as his left hand moved up towards his face and press something into his mouth as his right hand did likewise, only it looked to be a reed which hung on the edge of his lips, gripped inbetween his teeth.

Kanashimi Kurai Alexiel thought for a moment. Ravens, father, cloister... She was knowledgable in the mythology of various cultures, Norse being one of them. The girl's statement reminded her of something but no, it couldn't be. Alex quickly dismissed the thought. "I see... well, I could send him away if you like?" Tita shook her head slowly, " No, it's..." her words becoming gibberish again at this point as she stopped touching Alex. She realize what she had done however and placed her hand back on the other woman. "I'm sorry to be so much trouble."

The lady looked down for a moment, as if she were apologetic. Indeed, it's exactly what it was. She managed to continue smiling, however. "Forgive me, I shouldn't make light of these matters. But I admit, I'm glad that our day hasn't been wasted."
Watching the man with her for a bit, she then turned her head towards the street, the scene of such carnage. "The authorities will be here shortly. And yet, I am not worried." She eyed a particular man who was running and tripped over someone else. A roll of her eyes, and she began to hum, placing her left hand on the same hip.

_______Vincent drew a short breath as he heard someone approach. He took another glance at the sword and smiled at the thought of another victim. Not to be too brazen for his own good, Vincent did consider what kind of person one must be to make the choice of finding the epicenter of the chaos rather than fleeing with it. He turned around to face the man on the rooftop. "Good day, sir. And what a fine day it is." Vincent raised his deep voice loud enough for the distant man to hear him and spoke with a sardonic smile on his face. He looked up into the sky and feigned as if to enjoy the view. However, what he saw and what the man on the roof saw weren't likely to be similar by any stretch of the imagination. _______Vincent's eyes saw what they could see with startling clarity and many levels of control. But his eyes weren't meant for star-gazing, the energies he might have seen from the clouds and the atmosphere and the moon and the stars, were all much too far away. When Vincent looked up into the sky, only the sun's energy was close enough to be seen. Aside from that, the sky was abyss. Utterly empty and lacking any thing of any sort. A terribly unsettling sight to behold. But, nevertheless, Vincent's sardonic smile didn't show it.

"Don't be silly, you're no trouble at all." Alexiel smiled warmly. "Why don't we find some place to eat, I could use a meal myself."

Now, since the murderous one was busy looking around, the claoked man just did whatever he does. Soundlessly, a simple little needle would fire out from the reed in his mouth, darting towards the man with no warning whatsoever, too fast for any sort of normal vision to be seen.
Clap, clap, clap!
He clapped his hands thrice in tune with the dancer's humming, for no real reason of course, other than just for the hell of it.

The girl nodded and stood, wrapping her cloak around her and remaining close to the woman as they walked. Letting her guide them wherever they would go. She remained silent though, simply observing everything around her warily. Occassionally she would look up at the Raven thoughtfully, but no more worried glances.

When the man clapped with her, her fingers tapped her side, where her own flute rested. Silent tapping, hardly noticable to the ears since she used the flesh of her fingers rather than her well-manicured nails. To her own humming, another was added- from monophony to polyphony, and the extra voice was humming as softly as well, adding a drone to her melody.
Drumming and humming and waiting.

_______Like any other form of energy, Vincent could see kinetic energy. In large amounts, he could see it radiate off of an object like mist. In relation to the mass of the object in question, it had an awful lot of motion. While Vincent may not have seen the needle itself, what he saw was a rather small object moving at a rather high velocity. But small objects required only small defenses. Vincent simply raised his left hand and, as the needle neared his body, he knocked it out of the air with one finger. _______However, any attack would provoke a counterattack from Vincent. He rushed forward, converting internal energy into motion and leapt from the ground. Clutching the sword in his right hand, Vincent reached his left into his coat to retrieve three needles, six inches long and made of lead. In the brief moment that passed as he left the ground until he exceeded the height of the man on the rooftop and the woman beside him, Vincent transferred energy from his claw into the needles. Radiating a soft black glow, the needles would transfer that corrosive energy into the next thing they touched. _______Vincent's body flipped no less than three times in the air above the pair on the roof. In each of those motions, Vincent threw a single needle. The first from a point just before he would pass over them, aimed at the man; the second, almost precisely above them, aimed at the woman; the third soon after sailing over them, aimed once more at the man. _______As Vincent would descend, he would perform the exact inverse of the previous use of his ability, converting momentum back into dormant energy inside his body. He would land none too hard on the opposite side of the rooftop upon which the pair stood.

As the man leaped up into the air, the darkly clad man simply stepped off the edge of the building to fall right down into the streets below, needles raining down on the rooftops previous to where he was before, the angle of attack from above leaving the building to shield him on his descent, not even bothering to look back as if the man was nothing important. Oh no, for now, he was much more interested in something else... like those dead bodies which littered the streets. And as he walked towards them, he drew a dagger from his hip. Yet, this was no normal dagger, it was made of glass.
This man must be mad... horribly so. Especially if he thought that needles and glass weapons were seriously going to injure someone. Oh well, as he neared each corpse, he would reach down with his free hand to touch them, as f marking them for something.
He didnt really care about the man, as seen with his casual gait through the streets. Why? Because there would be something he was busy ignoring.
On top of the building which the dark clad figure was previously standing atop, a little ways back, was a 'collection unit', this collection unit consisting of five figures. But of course, they would not be seen before as the angle of the man looking up from below would not see them that far back, and as he was busy focussing his attack on the darkly clad demented man who just casually moved, he woulnt notice them. Well, that and the fact that they were invisible. However, able to see sources of energy or not, the unit was not made of the living. A unit consisted of dead bodies emitted no heat as the living would, thus rendering vision by heat useless, or as another form of energy hence.
What would happen is that the man would come down right into the group... or rather right onto a member of the group, having held back and stood far away from the pair.
And as he would come right down on top of one of the agents, his landing would be changed from a nice one on his feet to a clumsly tangle of limbs. However, at that exact moment he would land, the unit struck. Just as the demented man before, they fired off a barrage of needles, all from a very close proximity at him, giving no time to react to the tiny poking pestilence as the one he handed on would wrap its limbs around him, holding him down and leaving him defenseless. However, with an interactive action made, the agents all broke the invisibility spell that was cast on them, instantly becoming visible by normal vision.
The darkly clad man only continued to move from one body to the next absently as he took out a small piece of wool and seemed to clean the glass dagger, even though it was perfectly clean. My, this guy had problems...
((Apparently Oob's character is following mine or something since he aint around to RP for now.))

(( I'm SOOOO sorry I haven't been on the last few days... I really haven't gotten the chance as I temporarily found something I dread more than all: a life. sweatdrop
I dunno if you'll be on to recieve this post, but best of luck, man!))
Silver wasted no time. He rushed forward and swung with his right hand, the Mystic blade temporarily turning into an energy lance. It would surely latch on and toss Reiko about one-hundred-fifty feet into the air.
I will master this lance technique by the end of the fight...
If successful, Silver easily jump up to meet him. Reaching an altitude where they would meet and fall at the same hieght (and land at the same time), he swung on his opponent as fast as he could with both Mystic blades. Fast enough to get about 4 swings a second, he would swing on Reiko until either stopped or upon landing.

It had been a quiet day in the Shield Headquarters for the most part. There hadn't been much going on in Latent for quite some time now, and that was something the Shields liked to see. However all of that was about to change.
Kantaro Kokashi was just reclining in his chair, tossing wads of papers into his trashcan. He was about to go for a new personal record, seventy-five, when suddenly his phone rang, causing him to fall over backwards in his chair and knock papers all over the floor. Quickly reaching up, the young, brownish-red headed, green-eyed man grasped his phone and answered.
Uh...hello? Kokashi speaking. We've got a situation over in the west end of the city that needs immediate attention! Some guy is running rampant with a sword killing innocents. Get down there as soon as you can! Understood Sir!
Kokashi hung up his phone , grabbed his fallen blue coat off the back of his chair and rushed out of his office. To gather his men. Something told him this wasn't going to be a normal job...

She remained unmoved from her position and apparently unworried. However, this meant that she would be attacked by the needles thrown back, right? Well the female wore long scarf about her neck, one that quickly snapped up and stiffened. Above her, the sound of thin metal striking another metal plate rang true, and she changed the song she was humming.
