"My name is Epifanio, and..." Epi was cut off and put into a mere second of simple stuttering and staring. The woman just ate a lizard that was probably still living. Even though he was a Hollow, those of which only felt satisfication from eating human souls, he was...naturally opposed to eating anything still living, especially something like a raw lizard. That was only something Epi would do if it was a bet or something, not out of hunger. Not only that but she just ate an apple, Epi having seen the fruit many times on his travels to Earth, whole. His eyes slowly drifted towards the woman's abdominal area. "Suprise she's not as big as an Adjuchas how she's eatin'..." Epi whispered to himself lowly in awe then brought his attention back up to her face. Wiping away the awe-struck facial expression, he began again. "I'm Epi and I think you have to be pretty smart to have a few followers..." He felt as if it was necessary to add 'However the size...' since he couldnt help but glance at the miniature hollow, but didn't out of 'kindness'. "My friend and I need smart Arrancar to help us do something about Hueco Mundo, and maybe change it for the better....would ya be interested?"

"That depends ..." she says slowly as she plucks out another whole fruit and begins to eat it, rind and all. "If I like your idea, I might. If I don't ... well, it depends on the idea." She laughs to herself. "Alright Ryu, here!" She drops another apple at Ryu who catches it, clumsily, and then points at a lizard. She sighs and skewers it and drops the lizard in front of him. She smiles at Epi, wondering just what he had in mind. An amused expression crosses her face, she is quite tickled by this conversation for some reason. 'Just what does he have in mind? Should I even concern myself with his thoughts, much less help him?' She pets ryu on top of his skull mask and chuckles to herself as she listens to Epi speak.
Ryu quickly devours the lizard and then goes back to eating the fruit he was handed. "Rawr!" he declares as he gets petted on the head. More and more, the infant hollow was becoming something of an amusement to Ume, another reason, aside from his endearing qualities, to keep him around.

Jodan stands their watching as Ume skewers a lizard and eats it. She also watches Ryu eat one. And out of curiosity she chases after the first one she sees. For several long minutes to an hour the others can hear her scampering and crashing into things as she chases the lizards. Jodan finally returns with her small bag packed with them. The first ne she pulls out of her bag she gives to Ryu. Jodan was eating a lizard of her own. She then pulls out a sidewinder that she offers to Ume and offers another lizard to Epifanio.

Epi raised an eyebrow on hearing her rather lackadaisical take on her interest to his unsaid plan. He really didn't know whether to continue or...just bring it all to a stop, since....it wasn't working how he believed it would. "Guess...I'll take that as a yes.." Epi softly spoke aloud. Someone who he wasn't sure would like the plan, could easily go blab it around Hueco Mundo, and although it was a great idea....him and Rocio weren't the strongest in the sands just yet, and weren't too sure how a few stronger hollows would feel about it. He watched wide-eyed once more as her two followers then ate another pair of raw lizards. Epi forced a smile when one of the Hollow offered him a wild lizard, hesitantly he took the dead reptile by it's tail and placed it in his cloak's pocket, not wanting to seem disrespectful at a time like this. "Thanks..I'll, save it for later." He then turned back to Ume. "Then would ya mind following me? My friend can explain it better than I can." He could only hope that she said yes, since Rocio was probably already explaining some of it to Haseo...she probably wouldn't mind it at all.

Eve smiled calmly at the scene before her, this was certainly a strange group of people. Still, now that Mistress Jayde had assisted Hikaru and Kaoru in attaining higher level of power she felt a bit left in the dust. Determined to not be outdone Eve turned to Jayde and addressed her, "My Lady, if it would please you I would like to suggest something. My power level can no longer compare to the level of these two, if I am truly to be a part of your or Waka's honor guard then I will need to be stronger. I have an idea about how I might go about this but I will need your help and consent to force this process. What do you say, will you back this venture of mine?"
Jayde considered this for a moment and turned to look at her new lieutenants the Hitachiin twins Hikaru and Kaoru, already a formidable pair having mastered their inner hollows in only a few hours. It was true that Eve was lagging somewhat behind them and although Jayde had confidence in the young hollow girl she was willing to help advance the girl's status if it was at all possible. She gestured to the twins and they stepped up to either side of her, heads bowed, "We will all assist you however you need, simply tell us what you require of us and the twins and I will do all we can to aid you."
Eve pulled the skull off the top of her head and set it in the sand in front of her, she sat down with her legs wrapped around the bowl, holding it in place. She then pulled some herbs out from small pockets hidden under her bandages and fur bands. She began ripping and crushing them while considering the three people she had access to. Nodding slowly Eve appeared to have reached a conclusion, “Okay I need the three of you to form an equilateral triangle around me, twins you will stand behind me while Jayde you stand directly in front of me. All of you face me directly and try not to turn away if you can help it. I will act as a focusing point; it will be your job to channel the energy I require into me so that I can condense it into this mixture. Give me a second to grind these herbs down… and… yes please take up the positions now.”
Jayde nodded and directed the twins to move into their positions, they obeyed with slight bows. Once they were all in place Eve nodded and took a pinch of the ground herbs in from the skull she was using as a bowl and inhaled them. She closed her eyes and let her body rock back and forth for a moment. Suddenly, her eyes shot open, all the color was absent from them a pure whiteness stretching across the whole of her eye, covering her cornea and pupil. She was chanting low and rhythmically. Power began to stream around Jayde, Hikaru and Kaoru. They directed it towards Eve as they were told and she focused it into the hollow’s skull still between her slender legs.
Eve was pulling in energy from two places in particular; she had detected a Hollow similar to her, named Rhode Camelot and was attempting to initiate a flow of power between them to drain the other Hollow. This was only possible because of Jayde since she outranked even the Arrancar Rhode in raw power. Still that wasn’t enough to move it to her; she was calling on the spirits of the dessert. Drawing power from the ground and land beneath her she chanted in time with a dull hum that had surrounded the four of them. Energy buzzed through the air so much that it was palpable. Finally the earth cracked and Eve’s head was thrown back, her mouth open and blank eyes gazing to the dessert sky above. After a moment Eve lowered her head to the bowl and lifted it to her lips, she drank the strange golden liquid that had appeared in it and her eyes slowly cleared. She placed the hollow mask back on her head and grinned, power surged through her body. Although she didn’t appear physically different she could feel the muscles intensifying underneath her skin; as if her muscles were being replaced with living steal.
She stood slowly and bowed deeply to Jayde. As she raised her heard her teeth glittered with a mischievous little grin, “My Lady, I am ready to serve you. What is it you wish of me?”
The Twins walked out from behind Eve, Kaoru patted her lightly on the back and smiled as he passed her. It was extremely impressive that the young hollow had managed to increase her power so dramatically with the ritual. Already he could sense that she was almost equal in power to either of the Twins. Hikaru looked at him and between them passed the silent understanding that she would surpass them as Empress Jayde’s bodyguard. Still to them it didn’t matter, Eve was an Arrancar now; she would eventually have her own responsibilities while the Twins would forever remain dedicated wholly and completely to their Mistress Jayde Stone.
Jayde surveyed those gathered before her, she nodded in satisfaction. It was about time they tried to find General Seijin, after all Jayde’s whole idea of an Army of Masks would shatter if they could not gain the support of the Head of all Vizards, Seijin Nazo. She smiled and spun on her heel and slammed her hand into the air in front of her. Her hand caught on something intangible before there was a sound like a dictionary being torn in half and a portal was ripped open in front of her. She then turned to the three of her vassals and smiled, “It is off to Caer Pelyn, the last known location for Seijin to my knowledge. Once there we will simply hunt for the highest reiatsu signals and she will likely be close by. Eve you at my right hand side close to me at all times Hikaru in front and Kaoru behind; this is the basic traveling formation and it is what we will use unless I state otherwise are we ready.”
Grins spread across all of their faces as they walked into position around Jayde and dashed as one through the portal; the Army of Masks was well on its way to being born. Quote: .: Word Count :. Ume smiles, "Sure, why not. Just fair warning, aside from these two, I have a powerful mate so mind that I will not be in for certain kinds of fun. What exactly do you have in mind?" She was getting curious, glad to have some company. "Thank you, Jodan." She eats the side winder, except for its head, which she plays with for a while and then chucks at a wandering hollow in the distance. It was one she had chased off only hours ago.

"A powerful mate?" Epi repeated as if he didn't understand. It had to be another Arrancar, since most hollows seldom worked in tandem, however he could only name a few Arrancar, so whomever it was definitely hadn't made a name for themselves. Meaning they were probably..."..lame." He mumbled lowly shaking his head. "Certain kinds of fun...?" The question whirled about in his head, eventually it did pinpoint on what fairly explicit thought but faded quickly as Epi's weapon brought him back to reality. Telepathically telling him how ashamed she was of him and...yada yada yada. "Like I said....change it, we want to bring order to Hueco Mundo..follow me." That was the clear cut answer, Rocio could elaborate further. Luckily Epi had turned around while she ate a snake or he might have been a bit squeamish, he brushed the back of his hand through the air, a break showing and him showing them to the tear. "Ladies first."

Name: Bala - 7 Posts (700 words) Type: Offensive Element: Non-Elemental Range: 30 feet Class: Hollow Description: Allows the user to harden spiritual energy around their fist and launch it like a bullet. Bala's power equals half of the user's SP. But unlike Cero, it can be fired in quick succession; taking only half a second to charge and fire, and moving at the user's Speed x1.25. This technique costs 2 SP per Bala. Other: Maximum of five Bala fired per Gaian Post. Ranmyaku Zetsumei slowly walked through the land, his giant body wavering around, he was slightly injuried, limping slightly as he looked around. He barely got away with his life, and didn't have forever to heal. He then looked into the sky, in that fight all he had was swinging his tail and weight around, he needed faster stuff, not just pure power. He didn't want to be in that situation again, against two fast and small people like the shinobi and the quincy. He was so used to fighting hollows that he wasn't used to hitting small targets, which was kinda hard, expecially fast ones.
He almost died multiple times vs the two others as he was really to slow, he was all size, he needed to learn something like a long distance attack. He knew this attack would be best to be fast, and so he picked the move named Bala. It was a fast move, though he was planning on learning an excaping move later, but he thought it was better to increase the chance of winning then increasing the chances of surviving. You see, if you won then you wouldn't need to excape, and you'd have a meal, and honor. That was a real 11th division way of looking at things, a real warrior would look at it the same way.
Well he was a warrior, a warrior of ancient japan in the past, that was all that was known. He looked up thinking of the past...... He, in his arrancar form, though at that time his human form stood there looking over at a completely blood strucken are. There was few trees scattered around, on fire, blood all over the ground, many bodies laying around as he sat there on a rock looking relaxed. He then looked around happily, two katana's, one on each waist, in sheaths. He had a spear on his back by a nodachi, and a spear in hand, he then turned his head, away from the 100+ warriors dead from his hand. There were some warriors there, about 200, led by a general. "Your alittle late" He said, looking over at the general. "It seems so" THe general said.
"Lets go, we have to attack the city" Ranm said as he stood up and pointed at a mountain. "I'll go over the mountains, and you go around, it will surround them and they won't be able to win, wait till my signal" He said. Then they were all off, he ran through the mountains, and was going through a cave when suddenly a green dragon, the size of Ranm current age, the exact image appeared above. Ranm slowly raised his spear looking up "Get away or I'll kill you, you have been warned" He said. The dragon looked over and started to laugh "What are you going to do" The dragon said, suddenly the dragon shot towards Ranm but Ranm appeared on the other side of the dragon. Suddenly both wings were cut off as the dragon growled in pain as the wings fell to the ground, and blood shot out. "First your wings, then all 4 legs with one swing" Ranm said turning his attention to the dragon. "What" He said as suddenly the dragon's wings grew back and the dragon slowly turned to the hydra. "I see" Ranm said as suddenly many heads shot at him, a head got cut off but revived.
"I see, why is a greek being all the way here in japan" He said. "I heard something about a far land, called Greece, and heard of the mytholigical beasts, are you a hollow or a real hydra" He said. "A real hydra, I'm not a scum hollow" He said. "Well thats to bad, because soon your going to be one" He said pulling out his second spear as he looked over, double spears out. It wasn't normal, usually one used either one spear, or maybe a spear and sheild, but never two spears. The snake like necks slivered around in the air as all the heads hissed. "I bet I can get a lot of money by sellings your body, or maybe you'd make a good dinner" He said. "I'm Kiyo, the red demon" He said looking over slowly pointing both spears up.
"You scum, I'll teach you your place" The hydra said jumping in only to get sliced, four necks cut off. Kiyo slowly ran his spears up then quickly down so that the blood spilled off the tips. The heads grew back, two in each of there places. "So its true about the heads growing back" Kiyo said. He then put one spear away as he put the other shoulder over his shoulder readying to throw. He then backed up then stumbled foward with skill as he threw the spear and it cut through a head and kept going, it went right through the hydra as it hissed in pain. "Your heads revive, but your body shouldn't" He said. Kiyo sighed as he vanished from a head coming smashing down, appearing ontop of the hydra as nothing happened, then all 20 heads all got cut off at the same time, nothing in Kiyo's hands as blood shot all over the place and swords in the dragon's belly as it dropped dead. He sighed, pulling out the swords and swinging them around to get the blood off. "Great, my swords are bloody now. Thanks" Kiyo said.
He liked blood, he put his swords away and retreived his other spear putting that away too, and exited the mountain, leaving the body dead. Suddenly a voice "Where do you think your going you scum" Said the hydra as he slowly regenerated everything as it looked over at Kiyo. "Your still not dead, you know I have better things to do then to fight someone like you" Kiyo said turning around as suddenly a head came towards him, faster now as Kiyo jumped away. "I see you were holding back before" Kiyo said dodging here and there, with a lot of skill but the heads came at him fast. He pulled out both katana's as suddenly he pointed both up as the heads came and every one was cut down. Kiyo then appeared above the dragon. "Human, my name is Ranmyaku Zetsumei. You will hate this name" He said. Suddenly all the heads shot streams of black aura shot out, all hitting Kiyo before Kiyo killed Ranm. Suddenly Kiyo flew into the air and into the wall.
Kiyo slowly stood up injuried "I see, you were saving something that can be used unlimited times at the same time for that point, being a mythical creature you can do it as long as you want, but once I turn you into a hollow then you won't be able to do it as much" He said. More came and he dodged, getting burned on the arm by one as suddenly he put his katana's away and slid his nodachi out slicing through the air with amazing power and through the beams. Kiyo then started to cut through them one at a time as he slowly walked towards Ranm the hydra. He smiled cutting through all them like cutting through the air with his heavy and powerful nodachi. "Come on, you have to do better then that you weakling" Kiyo said as suddenly he stood before him as the hydra tryed to jump away but was sliced in half like that with the sharp and super heavy nodachi. "I'll see you in hell" He said as the hydra vanished into particles kinda like a hollow since it was magical.
Kiyo then turned his attention over towards the end of the cave and walked towards it, after clearing through all the moutains he looked at the general. "There secret weopon is destroyed, they are almost undefended" Kiyo said. The general nodded smiling as both ran off, and killed everyone in the city. One of the stories of the hollows life, well a story of Ranm and of Kiyo. Two people trapped in the same body, well both terrible bloodthirsty demons in a way. Kiyo would only be freed in the arrancar or vasto lord form. While Ranm would be everything up till then. Back in the modern age, in the current age Ranm looked dazed out into the land. "Did that really just happen" He said, he forgot all memories of his life as he looked up at the sky. "I hate you Kiyo" Ranm said as he looked over at the area.
He then slowly raised its dragon neck as he opened his mouth as suddenly he tryed to shoot out a bala. Though nothing happened right now as he tryed again, it took awhile before he fianlly got it as when it did it was a powerful one. The bala was fast as it shot across the air and burn onto the ground and blew up a small area with the bala. He then tryed to use it again as suddenly the bala collided with the ground, catching on fire for a second then the fire faded away. Ranm smiled "Looks like I can do it now" Ranm said as he slowly walked off into the land with a kinda impressed and confident look. "I'll teach those people next time I see them, that Ranmyaku can not be underestimated" He said, talking about Kirihara and Gin. Learned Bala 1345 words total Bala = 700 words 943 words remaining

Ume returns from the Menos Forest, wondering where she might find Shin. "How could you tell?" she asks Jodan with a mild amount of curiosity. She smiles and shrugs about the question. "I am not sure, really. How long does this sort of thing last in hollows any way?" She was not entirely certain, herself. She smiles and sits on the air as usual, rather than a rock. "I wonder where my Shin-cakes is?"Ryu happily gnaws on his mother's mask, wondering if it comes off. He then wonders if his own comes off and pulls on it, only to yelp loudly and cling to his mother. Jodan smiles at Ume as she sits on a rock near by. she had yet to attempt to float and was not sure she wanted to attempt it. Since she did not want Ryu attempting it yet. "I have my ways of knowing." Jodan says as her son gnaws on her mask. "I don't know how long it takes for hollows I was a human when I had Ryu. Well don't pull on your mask silly." She says as she hugs her son. And comforts him as she tries not to laugh at him. "Ryu theirs a bone right over their that you can play with." Jodan says pointing to a bone that laid nearby in the sand.

Shin smiled as he stood there. He felt like he was home. It had been sometime since he'd been back and since he's seen Ume. Maybe a couple days, but nothing to major. He wondered what she was up too and hoped she wasn't lonely. He yawned a bit as he treaded the sands, "Man, Noches is a long way." he said throwing his arms down sighing, "And to top it off, that mysterious guy just vanished before I could even do anything about it. I really wanted to use my True release too." he said shrugging, "Oh well, maybe next time." He said nodding as he stood there. "Hmm." He said wondering what he would do now as he walked a lone for sometime now, "Don't really have much to do since all the fighting has stopped, wonder where Ume is." he said still walking in the same direction.

Ume sees Shin and floats up and glomps him. "Shin-cakes! I missed you! I made us a den and there's so much to talk about!" She pretty much nuzzles him as she hugs him. "Oh, that is Jodan and her baby, Ryu. They pretty much follow me everywhere and help keep me company. Oh, Shin, I'm so glad to see you again! So, what have you been up to?"
Little Ryu looks at Shin and waves his bone at him. "Ra-rawr!" he declares happily. The little hollow scuttles up to Shin curiously and when he sees Ume hugging him, he decides to join in. He is far too young to understand that such things may not be wise choices.

Jodan watches as Ume floats over to Shin and hugs him. She then narrows her eyes at Shin as her offspring hugs him. She nods when Ume introduces her to Shin then walks over to them. "Hello." She says quietly. As she wonders how Shin will react to Ryu's hub. She really wished that her boy would stop hugging people that he did not know. She then looks at Ume "Want us to go so you two can catch up we will not go far." Jodan says as she starts to think of possible pranks to pull on Shin. After a couple of minutes she decides that it would not be worth it to prank Umes mate.

Shin was caught off guard by the hug and smiled hugging her back. He held her close and then pet Ryu, "Well isn't he all warm and cuddly?" he questioned laughing. He watched as Jodan narrowed her eyes and just shrugged it off. He didn't rightly care about what she had against him, knowing he was far stronger than most hollows, and even with strength to match those above him, even for a time being. He yawned standing there, "Nothing much, just got into a fight, saving people, you know the regular." he said nodding as he stood there. "Other than that nothing much has happened, other then me just being me." he said shrugging.

Ume kisses him passionately, happy to see him once more. "Want to see our den?" She smiles as she embraces him. She pets Ryu and chuckles softly. "He's a feisty little thing, don't let his cute act fool you. He just tried to eat his mom's mask. Tee hee!"
Ryu squeals delightedly when Shin pets him. "Hyuuu! Ra-rawr!" he says happily as he thumps the ground with his bone club. The little hollow decides that he likes Shin.
