Chris nodded. She sqeezed her eyes shut. "wait you know my name.... but i dont know yours... what is your name." she asked. "and yes the vampires may have found it a good place to hide but they would still need to feed" she added.

Siegfried jerked a thumb over at the Rogi. "He brought you in to the room with the circle before when you were unconsious. I now remember that he did indeed bring you in and he said your name was Chris." He then tilted his hat in her direction. "Names Siegfried, born and raised as an elemental gunslinger. Howdy." Nodding to her statement, he looked outside the window and spoke thoughtfully. "Maybe they brought their food with them. Its not unheard of for a vamprie to take on a human lover."

"Aye thats what I meant." Siegfried drew on of his revolvers and showed the runes traces on the barrel and cylinder that held the bullets. "These here runes channel my magic into the gun and roulettes the elements I can control in my mind. Once it picks one, I get the magic in the form of bullets, which I fire. On a normal case where there isnt anything special needed, I fire just normal white bullets." He nodded at her question as well. "Yea I can control light to some degree, but light and darkness are unstable elements at the best of times. If I fire too many then it warps the barrel to where it cant fire anymore, dissolving the runes. I call it a overheat."

"The darkness aint something to fear little lady." Spinning the revolver in one hand, Siegfried holestered it in one smooth motion. "Im a firm believer that the elements on their own arent evil or good. Its the user that defines what they are used for. The dark is just another element, as is the light."

"Aint the darkness thats effecting you lass." Siegfried gestured around the Mansion. "This area has been effected by what I call negative taint. Bad emotions such as anger and lust effect the all the elements in different ways. Since the darkness is used by people filled with negative emotions more than the light, it recieves a greater amount than the light. Fire is the same way. And when the user of the negative taint dies, their emotions are transferred to the element they used thus tainting it more. Sometimes they take others along with them, which is where all the ghosts come into play."

Rogi awoke from his nap, unaware he had even been sleeping, and to that end, he didn't know how long he had been asleep. It was the mention of a formula for calling forth the undead that caught his attention and snapped him out of his slumber. "Did I hear someone make mention of a formula for raising the dead," he asked as he shifted his weight in the chair once more.

Siegfried looked at Rogi, not knowing he had been asleep. He was surprised he could sleep with all the talking, but he let it go. Shaking his head, Siegfried replied. "No Rogi, there was no mention about raising the dead that I am aware of. I was talking about the plague seal Emily is holding. Which I suggest she puts away before it starts working." Grabbing the corners of the paper, Siegfried took it from her grasp firmly but slowly, not wanting to smear the writing. He hands the paper over to Rogi with a warning. ""Dont trace anything, espcially since your a mage. It might activate the seal and you'll be a carrier of dieases."

The dark portal split open as he emerged from the darkness, the portal snapping shut behind him as soon as he was clear of it. It didn't take him long to feel the potent dark energies that emanated from the many burial grounds that populated this small area. "So many lost souls...so little time."With a small grin, he began a leisurely walk through the haunted area, his thoughts percolating on the possibilities this place might hold for his plans.

Siegfried looked quickly at Chris before thinking over what she said. At the end he shook his head. "No little lady, I dont think so. If someone entered this house, it and we would have known about it." However, he went to the door and looked down the hall, listening for any footsteps. Not hearing any, he went to an available window and peeked out of the curtains. He didnt spot anything and was about to get away when a flash of light caught his eye. Squinting out the window, he couldnt see who or what it was but something was out there. "It aint in the house little lady," Siegfried said, "It is outside wandering around."

Rogi almost nearly leapt from the chair and joined Siegfried by an adjacent window. "Oh, a visitor," he said as he began making calculations in his head. "Well, duty calls. Siegfried, keep an eye on us. I suspect you can hit a target from a distance, so I need you to take action should things get dangerous. I will give a signal. It will be pretty obvious." With a curt nod, he disappeared and reappeared down in the graveyards in the area of the recent arrival.
"May I help you, sir," Rogi said as he greeted the man who supposedly entered through a portal.
