Keegan opened his mouth to retort, but stopped. "Hey...what? Red-headed? How is that an insult?" His face almost broke into a laugh, but he regained his anger. "You're a brat, and you're lousy at arguing!"

"So what if I'm not good at arguing? Just goes to prove that only you could make me this angry!" She continued to look up at him, her face still twisted into a glare. Her chest heaved from yelling so much. "Why couldn't you just leave me alone? Why did you have to instigate a fight? Eh? You jerk!"

Why did I have to start something?
"Because seeing you only fills me with rage!" Keegan countered. "It really hurt, you know," he growled. "You didn't even give it a chance." He finally shifted his gaze, which landed on Helios, cowering in Flannery's arms next to the Skitty.

I didn't give it a chance...
Kasiya couldn't think of anything to say, and her gaze fell on the ground. Hot tears welled up in her eyes, and she choked back a sob. "I said I was sorry, alright? But I guess that wasn't good enough, was it?!" With that, the girl ran sobbing in a random direction.
"Kasiya!" Flannery called after her, but stopped. She looked back at Keegan, slightly confused. "What is all this about?" she asked, the look on her face like that of an angry school teacher.

Dante just watched the fight curiously not quite sure what to say so he just kept out of it. "Ummm... Did you two used to go out or something?" He asked, he had seen enough breakup fights growing up to know what one sounded like. In his arm's rested the blue and orange egg which Dante until now didn't notice that it had started to wiggle around some.

It was Keegan's turn to have nothing to say, but as Kasiya ran off in tears, he turned sharply, raising a hand, his face showing the first obvious signs of regret. "Fabulous," he sighed, shaking his head, both hands falling to his sides. "Nothing brings you closer to the one you love than a raging arguement." He stared at the ground for a moment or two, before he slowly looked up at Flannery, and then to Dante. "It's... really none of your business, is it?" he asked flatly, his eyes full of tears as well. "Now if you'll excuse me, I think I'll go hurl myself off something tall." He started to walk away, singed cape fanning out behind him, but he stopped, pivoting on his heel and picking up the egg case. "After I deliver this," he added. "Let's go, Helios."
The Vulpix gave a sigh, and jumped down from Flannery's arms, turning and looking at the group once more before he rejoined his trainer.

Dante looked at Flannery for a moment then at Keegan's retreating back befor sighing. "I think I should go with him. You know just to keep him some company." He said slowly. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a scrap of paper and a pen and scrawled his pokenavi number down and handed it to Flannery. "Here, if you or any of the other's want to call me feel free. Oh yeah and could you cheak on whatever pokemon my mother gave Mike for me? Thanks even if you dont." He said as he took Bahamut's pokeball out this time and released the dragon pokemon. Upon coming out she gave a small cry and flew up over head some happy to be out. "Good luck with your gym battle Flannery." He said as he waved goodbye and ran to catch up with Keegan his long black coat trailing behind him, Bahamut soaring over head.

"I think that's a good idea, Dante," Flannery nodded, stroking Allegra's head gently. "The last time he said something like that, he wound up in the hospital for two weeks." She accepted the piece of paper, and nodded. "Thanks," she said. She watched him chase after Keegan, and sighed. "That was very sudden," she said finally, the little Skitty mewing in agreement.

Clapping came from behind Akane. She turned to see Merle standing there, smiling encouragingly.”You did fairly well for a first time, and Stan will thank you too when he wakes up. You would do better if you actually knew your Pokemon's moves. If you travel to Pallet Town you may be able to get yourself a Pokedex from Professor Oak.”
Akane hung on ever word the older lady said. “Pallet town? Wheres that?” she asked as she gave Twinkers a hug.
“Its a tiny town out in the Boonies, but its famous for Professor Oak's research lab. It wouldn't be much more than a flyspeck town if not for that.”
Talk of research centers brought memories of Akane's childhood flooding back. The loneliness, the constant moving, the making friends than having to move. But getting something that would help Twinkers be the best that she could be – that would be great.

"Anyhow, I think I'll take my leave now. I've got some business to attend to," Mitsu said picking up Haku's Pokeball and returning the rest of her team and walked out the door. "See ya later kiddo."
After making her way back to LittleRoot Mitsu stopped by the laboraty. She knocked twice before the door was answered by one of Prof. Birch's lad assistants. "May I help you?"
"Uh huh, you sure can," Mitsu said, "I need to see Prof. Brich if possible."
"Sure thing, just a sec.." The assistant ran off into the lab returning a few minutes later with the professor himself. "Why hello there Mitsu!" he said, "I'm sure you here to see your Gyrados. Am I right?"
"Of course!" Mitsu chimed in.
"Come on in then, right this way."

Various machines and Pokemon were placed and scattered around the laboratory. "Nightmare is doing just fine. He was a bit of a handful when you first sent him over, but he's recovered and is acting normal again," Prof. Brich explained to t he young trainer as they walked thought he lab and out into the back. There was a large lake, one that she had never noticed before. "Nightmare!" Mitsu called out hoping that the surface would break and the Gyrados she had always known and loved appear.
A few seconds passed and soon bubbles were popping up at the surface of the water. A loud roar could be heard as the the massive Pokemon surfaced. Mitsu's face lit up immediatly and so did the Pokemon's. Nightmare nudged her a bit glad to be reunited with his trainer. "It's so great to see you buddy." Mitsu held up the Gyrados's Pokeball recalling him with a smile.

"Now he may be better Mitsu," Prof. Birch began, "but I think it'd be best if he stayed by with you for a while to fully recover. Try not to bring him into any contact with the Rockets if it can be helped. We wouldn't want to stir up any bad memories now would we?" Mitsu shook her head no. "All right then. I do believe you ahve more than six Pokemon with you now, I'll need to keep one with me."
Mitsu glanced down at the Pokeballs that rested on her belt. "Ivy deserves a break. He's been working so hard," Mitsu said handing the Pokeball over to Professor Birch. The Pokemon expert tossed out the ball revealing a Pokemon's whose origins belonged to Kanto. "My, my. A Pokemon from Kanto!" he said surprised. "And an Ivysaur at that!" He bent down, "Nice to meet you Ivy, I'll be glad to have your company!" Ivy shook Birch's hand with a vine and turned towards Mitsu. "I'll be back soon 'kay Ivy? For now have fun here in LittleRoot. You deserve a vacation!" Ivy nodded already enjoying his little vacation. "See ya later Professor Birch!" Mitsu said walking out through the lab's front doors.

Hmm. The next gym would be Flannery's. She seemed tough, even Mike couldn't beat her. Why don't I have Nightmare and Haku train with Fire Pokemon, it'd give them some experience and help them get ready for the battle. Plus water has the nice effect of extra damage to Fire Pokemon. Mitsu beamed enjoying her idea. Off to Lavaridge then!
The young trainer quickly boarded a train that headed straight to Lavaridge. "I can't wait till you evolve Zypher! We won't have to take the train anywhere, and we'd be able to fly to places," Mitsu said talking t o the red and white sphere, not even sure if the Pidgeotto inside could hear her words.
Mitsu sat back enjoying the smooth ride to Lavaridge. "I remember the last time I was there..." she whispered to herself soon after her face turned a few shades of pink. "I wonder how's he doing."

Not long after boarding the train Mitsu arrived at Lavaridge. It was just as warm as she remembered, not really to her liking. After a quick stretch she made her way into the Pokemon Center, completely oblivious of the people around her. She took a seat on one of the couches shuffling through her bag a bit. "Ahh!" she exclaimed taking out a blue colored disc. Unclipping Haku's Pokeball from her belt she released the small seahorse Pokemon. "Hey Haku, I've got a powerful water move for you." Mitsu held up the HM and gently pressed it to Haku's forehead. "There," she said placing the disc back into her bag, "you know Surf now Haku. A nice, strong water attack." Haku trilled before being returned into his Pokeball. Now all I'm missing is something or someone to train with.

Kasiya stopped running after a few moments, stopping to catch her breath. Running around in this warm town had already dried her eyes, and she looked around, still sniffling a bit. "Oh no," she said quietly, dropping to her knees. "I'm lost!" she wailed. A split second later, another thought struck her, directly after the realization that she'd blindly ran through the streets of a city she didn't know, and it certainly didn't help her current mood. "And I've lost Allie too!" A second wave of tears came streaming down her cheeks,
