Terryn thought about that for a moment. "I suppose not. I do have on this lovely little toga after all. I could be a Roman empress for all you know." She gave him a regal looking little grin, looking off into the distance with a statuesque expression.

Marcus raised his eyebrows. "Naturally. I suspected it from the very beginning." He proceeded to get dressed, glancing up at the water clock on the cabinet across from them. "Come now, my Empress. There will be time for debating your ethnicity and social stature in the coach."

"Only if you carry me, slave." Terryn grinned at him, grabbing her gown and slipping it over her head, removing the sheets as she got herself dressed, still staying in the bed.

Marcus pretended to groan, but he was watching Terryn get dressed with interest. "I thought you were going to pack?" he asked, scooping his arms underneath Terryn and lifting her without much difficulty.

"I already have. I never emptied my travel bag." Terryn wrapped her arms around his neck and gestured to the corner of her room, where her bag was still laying, full. "See I am efficient."

Marcus looked amused, and he used one of his feet to pick up Terryn's bag as well. "You should get some sort of reward," he announced, leaving the room with Terryn and her luggage, and setting both of them down in the dining room, where servants were impatiently waiting to serve the food.

"Yes, I am special." Terryn slid out of his arms and into her seat, looking at herself in one of the silver dish covers to fix her hair since the servants were giving her looks.

"Undoubtedly," replied Marcus, waving his servants away so that they could eat in peace.

Terryn sat up straight, looking very noble indeed. She took her napkin and shook it out, "accidentally" hitting Marcus in the face. "Oh dear me, you really should watch where you put your head."

Marcus began to eat as though nothing had happened, and dryly remarked, "I'm beginning to wonder whether your accompanying me is more for your pleasure or mine."

"Mine." She answered very matter of factly as she started eating. "In all honesty, i just want to see how long it takes until I make you crack."

Marcus chuckled. "Consider me cracked, but that really won't stop me. After all, I actually know you and your personality doesn't bother me much."

Terryn frowned. "Yes well...I could switch my personality without a single warning." She slumped in her seat and started stabbing at her food with her fork while laughing...no...cackling in a high pitched voice.

Marcus shook his head, still eating with a small smile. "Evelyn has already prepared me for that. Try harder, miss. One day, perhaps."
