Reddemon Im gonna start Chaos & go with Iron Warriors If I was forced to choose a Chaos army there is a good chance it would be them. Of course, I would never take the path of the heretic...you play tau though don't you? So I don't care.

Also, they have a Warsmith instead of an Aspiring Champion, I think.

Almost all of the Chapter in Chaos have there own lines. I think the only ones that use the basic stuff out right is Word Bearers, and Black Legion.
I have been trying to decided what to do with my own Chaos Marines. So far I have looked into feilding Night Lords, Red Cosairs, or going old school and just making a Black Legion army. Also making my own chapter has crossed my mind, just have to figure out what I wanna do.
BTW: Iron Warriors are now out of production, whether it is for a revision, or what I am not sure. So if you see Iron Warrior stuff in a store, get it quick, otherwise the stock is gonna be sold only on the website.

The Night Lords do as well, but they're having specialisy heads and shoulder pads introduced I think. The Iron Warriors have a Warsmith. It has a Tech Marine style claw from his back, and is about 6 pounds. Night Lords have a Hero that's different as well. The 'Dedicated God' sets come in their own boxes. If you look Havoc Squads use the new Black Legion style of armour and helmets, while the "CSM With Assault Weapons" use the old style.

-Mykal What Im thinking of doing is using a Tech marine back pack for a Warsmith & use the colours of the Iron Warriors on the rest of the models. Though Im still not sure as to weather or not I want to use the CSM or SM parts.

I would go space marine parts, I've seen several pictures of Iron Warriors, and they just don't seem quite as...evil you could say as other armies, that is what I like about them. Kind of a quite, chaos you could say. I don't know. confused

Night Lords have their own box set, 8 dudes with the special heads. Also Iron Warriors has special heads, although using standard marines to sub in is an awesome Idea.

I have not seen this Night Lord boxed set on the shelves. I'm going to Manchester today, so it should have one there...

Nice, My local store has them, they may be a new release though. I Just started my Chaos Army, so I was poking through all his stuff. I think I have Decided to either go Word Bearers, or Black Legion though. I am also considering doing a Lost and Damned Army, maybe the Blood Pact.

I'd say go with Word Bearers, if you want to invest time and stuff. Black Legion just need to be sprayed and then have a silver and gold trim, really. Word bearers also let you have a special unit, like a Chaplain (By a different name called a Dark Apostle.) You can do a lot of interesting conversions, make them more heretical. If I wasn't doing Death Guard, I'd do Word Bearers.

Whatever chaos army you do, you really do need to convert anyway. Unless you're doing a khorne army with bezerkers and a daemon prince. Those models as standard fit in. But any other chaos army IS a converter's army. To make it look right, you'll need to convert.
