Ryou's eye widened as he leaned forward and snatched the Millennium Ring back from Kira before she could sit down. He looked a little scared of his own actions, but kept a firm grip on the ring, trembling. He looked over at Malik, nodding his head. "I'm fine."

Millennium Ring Ryou's eye widened as he leaned forward and snatched the Millennium Ring back from Kira before she could sit down. He looked a little scared of his own actions, but kept a firm grip on the ring, trembling. He looked over at Malik, nodding his head. "I'm fine." "I wouldn't keep it with you, Ryou, Bakura could overshadow you again--" Malik said.

"I won't wear it," Ryou said in a pleading voice, hugging the Ring to his chest despite the pain in his arms. "Don't try and take it from me. Everything else has been taken from me. I don't..." He trailed off, his eye closing as true exhaustion swept over him again. He was asleep before he could finish his sentence.
The door opened, Ishizu walking in with another cup of coffee for herself. "Hello..." She said, sititng down in the other chair next to Malik's bed. "Everything all right?"

Kira sighed "well bakura and marik took over there bodys agian,I took the rod away from malik,took the ring off ryou but he took it back,and theres a fly in your coffee." she said opening up the newspaper.

Ishizu frowned as she looked into her cup, not seeming to've heard what Kira had said before that. "So there is..." She reached in and picked the fly out, flicking it away before taking a careful sip of the drink, only to choke on it. "Wait a moment. You mean Marik and Bakura's spirits are still in the items?" She glanced over at Malik, then to the sleeping form of Ryou, who was still clutching the Millennium Ring. "Glad the rod's taken away, but was Ryou acting on his own will when he took back the ring?"

Millennium Ring Ishizu frowned as she looked into her cup, not seeming to've heard what Kira had said before that. "So there is..." She reached in and picked the fly out, flicking it away before taking a careful sip of the drink, only to choke on it. "Wait a moment. You mean Marik and Bakura's spirits are still in the items?" She glanced over at Malik, then to the sleeping form of Ryou, who was still clutching the Millennium Ring. "Glad the rod's taken away, but was Ryou acting on his own will when he took back the ring?" "Yeah-- unfortuanly, they left a part of their spirit in it for-- emergncy situations." Malik sighed, he knew it had been too good to be true.

"It was a mistake on my part. I apologize," She said with a sigh, putting down her drink. To change the subject, she spoke again, "I hope the doctors don't need any more paperwork filled out. I had to go through that on my way to get a drink." Ishizu groaned when the door opened, but blinked in suprise when, instead of a doctor, an Egyptain boy came into the room.
Khalid noticed the confused look Ishizu was giving him, but ignored it calmly, crossing the room to check over Ryou. He was silent the whole time, which caused an utterly baffled look to come over Ishizu's face as she looked to Malik and Kira for help.

Ishizu groaned when the door opened, but blinked in suprise when, instead of a doctor, an Egyptain boy came into the room.
Khalid noticed the confused look Ishizu was giving him, but ignored it calmly, crossing the room to check over Ryou. He was silent the whole time, which caused an utterly baffled look to come over Ishizu's face as she looked to Malik and Kira for help. "Ask Kira, she's had the most communication with him-- but is it just me, or does he look familiar, Ishizu?" he asked her in a whisper, looking at Kahlid, still trying to place him, he seemed familiar, like a lost face in the sea of faces he had seen.

Ishizu bit her bottom lip in thought as she tried to place his face. He did seem oddly familiar, in some way. "Well, he's Egyptain, and maybe that's all..." She said in a low voice back to Malik, then looked over at Kira as she spoke. 'Khalid... Eternal.' She said the translation in her head, deciding that it was just something his mother must've named him in hope for a long life..
Khalid looked up, his face blank. "My intentions are my own," He answered simply, then took the Millennium Ring from Ryou carefully, so he wouldn't wake him.
