Natasha leans in and whispers to Kibo.

"He doesn't even know about the pyromancy, I burnt him with a flaming torch last time I got angry."

She winks at him and leans back.

araina stops right at the door of one of the many bars in tortuga, and puts a pirate patch over one of her blood red eyes. and then she tilts her hat over the other. then she walks swiftly in, orders a water, and sits down alone at a table in the back, watching all the drunk men fight over a drunk girl. her stomach tightens as she remembers when she once was one of those foolish bar girls. she takes a sip of her water. and gets lost in her own thoughts...

Araina imediatly grabs the man's wrist, and puts it in a wrist lock. bends down and picks up her hat. then lets go of his wrist.

"im fine." she says through gritted teeth. "just trying to relax..."

Kibo flips, getting out of the wristlock, and grabbing hers instead, pulling her close to his face, and examining her eyes. He could tell a lot about a person from their eyes.

Kibo: I just thought it sounded like a nice thing to say. Rum?

He releases her, and reaches into his pack, pulling out a bottle of fine rum, emblazoned with his crest; three swords, in a triangle pattern, around the letter K. He opens it, and pulls two mugs from the same pack, filling them with the caramel-colored liquid. He pushes a mug over to her, a warm smile crossing his lips.

that was when Araina heard a woman scream,
"SNAKE!!"
and Araina reconised the snake imediatly, it was her own snake Nagini.
"Excuse me sir, i have to tend to my snake..." she said with a smile and she was glad to have a reason to get away from the man.

(('Kay! What kind of handout?))

Kibo chuckles, finishing off both glasses. He walks back to Natasha's table, passing by Araina, and placing a grapefruit-sized bag in her hand. The bag clinks, the gold inside hiding a small note:

"There's more where this came from. If you're interested in a fair bit o' shine, just touch the marking.
"

Underneath the name was an intricate circular design, written in gold ink, rather than the black of the rest of the note. Kibo continues walking nonchalantly, as if nothing had happened.

Araina checks the clock, 9:00 pm...
why do i have to wait so long! she thought to herself as she went outside and let Nagini slither off, to catch some dinner. she went back in the bar and walked up to the man that had spoken to her before, and returns the money bag, but keeps the note, instead, she replaced it with one of her own:

you don't have to bribe me to join, just tell me your story, including before you became admiral, and what is with the mark... then i will think about it...
