She kept training, her foot work flawless as she struck down another of the AI droids in a hail of sparks, gears and data chips, the pieces scattering everywhere. No doubt Xol would be informed by the computer that his training droid supply was dangerously low. It wouldn't have been so low if she had more obstacles to train with but....those fell as well to her blade.

Xol yawned one last time and dissolved into a plume of black mist. He would appear in the training chamber that Phia was currently occupied. "You keep this up and I'm going to have to spend all my time making new AI droids." He spoke, leaning against a wall in nothing but a pair of black boxer briefs. His seemingly expertly chiseled and scarred body very apparent in the bright floruescent lights.
"What brings my love down to my training chambers..."

"Good....ye deserve a punishment fer wha' ye pull'd las' nigh'" She said with a growl as she spun around and caught a stray AI droid in her palm and simply crushed it then half-heartedly threw it in her lover's direction, it struck the wall that Xol was leaning on not but a few inches from his head, her aim wasn't off it was a warning of sorts, or to demonstrate her irritation with him. "An' I'm train'n cause I've been lax in it."

He didn't even make the effort to move, almost as if he knew she wasn't trying to intentionally hit him. "Really now Phia... why be mad at me for such trivial matters. I stayed out of the situation for as long as possible and in my defense, if I wouldn't have intervened, no one would have seen the cruel fate that has fallen Kaiori and Ceres." Granted that hadn't even remotely been Xol's intention, it still was a valid point. She didn't need to know that though.
"True, you have been rather lax in the training areas. Why so active all of the sudden though? Are you expecting to have to use your abilities... or just preparing yourself just in case?" He questioned, tilting his head slightly and grinning. It was obvious by her half-hearted throw she was more frustrated with his actions then mad. Of course he had been the antangonist, that's what he did, it was as much a part of him as being a smartass. Did she really expect him to change so drastically? Not that he couldn't... and he would, for Phia, if she made him... but who wanted a tame Xol?

"Because I feel like train'n...I need ta. I've been lazy lately ...." She said coldly. She spun around and went to slash at her next obstacle, another droid which instantly went up in a mess of flames and sparks.
"Xol tha fact tha' ye went an' did it anyway is wha's pissin' me off...Ye wern' attack'd so ye dun need to join in the fight all the time...er one of these days Ye'll get kill'd."

He was taken back by her coldness, but instead of adding a smartass quip like he would normally do, he opted to walk towards the exit of the training room.
Coming to a stop, he placed his hand on the frame of the entrace. "Killed? By who Phia? Truinthil? He's a shell of his former self. D? Nothing without Old D. Mastema? Already matched him and I've come out on top twice. Focht? Pffft. Sai? Gimme a break. KB? Dead. The only person I would like to match my skills against is Gabriel... and he's hiding. If you need me, I'll be in my lab." And with that, Xol dissolved away.

Phia looked over her shoulder and sighed.
"By anyone..." She said softly to herself after he had left. "And tha's wha' I'm afraid of..." She was close enough to a wall at this point that she turned her back to it and slid down, as she did however she winced as her wings shimmered into existence, the pair of appendages she hadn't seen in some time, she looked at them curiously before reaching out and running her fingers over the soft feathers, suddenly her palm closed into a fist and jerked, ripping a handful of feathers from their place, they weren't flight feathers but it did hurt quite a bit. She dropped the offending icy white feathers to the ground in frustration. They glimmered as they floated slowly down.

Xol appeared again in his lab, running a gauntleted hand across the glass of a rejuvenation chamber that was tinted black. Dark red streaks of energy coursed through the interior and along a long metallic object. "All those years of keeping that piece of you hidden, the constant tinkering and trying to find objects to replace you."
He turned to face the enormous LCD screen of his computer, it was still displaying the region and information on the who's who of the Black Company. "Computer, open rejuvenation tube BR-1." As the tube slide downwards the apparent tint was actually Xol's mist, his essence, and it gingerly floated along the ground back into his body. What was left was a perfect replica of the Black Rose. It had been created with a mere shard of it's former blade, along with tireless and countless hours of reconstruction, infused with Xol's power and very being.
The Black Rose dissolved and merged with Xol's body, forming into it's physical being clutched tightly in his right hand. "Much better. I actually prefer bladed combat so..." His gauntlets dissolved as well, almost on cue. "Who will I use you on..."

Xol's second weapon of choice was sitting on an ordinary work table. It was a heavily modified long barrel Colt revolver. Based loosely on a .45LC rounded varient, it was custom retrofitted with a light particle accelerator to shoot the rounds at hypervelocity. His rounds of choice were 600 Nitro Express, uranium tipped, titanium carbonite filled rounds. When fired, the rounds with aid from the accelerator, would be able to puncture through anything.
He placed it in his side holster, hidden with in his blazer and grinned.

Phia remained slumped against the wall of the training room, pulling feathers from her wings and watching them dance as they fell to the ground, it was more of a robotic, mind-numbing action as she stared blankly ahead, thoughts elsewhere...like wondering just what the hell her lover was going to do with his newly acquired weapons.

The Black Rose was a finished product, immediately ready to go into service to whatever means he wanted. The other weapon though was still at the last stages. It would be tested soon, however to get it at the right specifications for which he wished to use it would take just a little bit longer. The blade dissolved back into his body as he also dissolved into nothingness to appear at Phia's side, leaning with his back against the wall.
"Phia, I'm always going to be here. Always. If not for the singular reason to always be at your side, then because I have no intentions of dieing. Ever." He slid down the wall and plopped down next to her. "I love you. And soon I'll show my love in the most sincerest way possible... untill then though, I have to be who I am. What I've always been. A warrior. I didn't get all these sexy scars from sitting around waiting for a fight, heh." He moved a hand under her chin and made her gaze turn to him. "And... what's with the wings?" He asked, head tilted.

She looked to him and smiled a bit.
"I worry...I've died before and Draeken...." She trailed off. "Neither of us intended to die an' we did...." She said softly. "I dun wan' ye to die...I can't stand to watch people I love dissapear anymore..." She said quietly. "Ye dun always need to look fer a figh' ...wha's the point? Wha' do ye gain? Power? A sense of superiority? Wha' ar' those things worth if yer dead an' you leave someone to grieve."

"Power? No. A sense of superiority? I already have that dear, in abundance." He chuckled and removed his hand from under her chin, now opting to rest his head on her shoulder and offering her neck a quick peck. "I do it because no one else will. No one else would dare challenge Mastema. No one else would have stepped in and gone after Apollo. Even when I'm consumed by evil I'm forced to be some psuedo hero." Xol said with a gentle sigh, looking over the destruction in the training room with a grin. "You know you're paying for every one of those training droids right?"

The forest rumbles with the sound of a freight train. It plows through the trees and mangles the forest creatures that are to slow to get out of the way. It slows and stops at the edge of the crater bellow the sphere. A large Train, pulling eight box cars sits there murals painted on the side. A hatch opens at the top of the engine and a man dressed in black and wearing a mask rises out holding a bull horn.

She looked to the droids in the heaps and shrugged.
"It will give ye somethin' ta do while I'm read'n er wha' not." She said slyly. She tilted her headinto his palm. "I love ye Xol...but as much as ye wan' ta figh' ye gotta realize ye won' be able to always...wha' if we 'ave a family eh? Then wha? I've seen my children loose their fath'r befer an' it tears them apart....even when 'e figh's..." She said softly looking up to him with paler then usual violet eyes. Her hand was still running over the glowing snowy wing to her right.
