Iris was completely immobile, yet her body still gained energy, her eyes dulled. She was totally unable to move away from Madi's assault...

As Silver would land, he'd see something he'd probably dread...

As the tentacle zipped inbetween Angelous and himself, it would split apart int tinier bits, almost cutting itself in half as it literally burst towards the directions of Angelous and Silver, dozens of tiny rope-thin tentacles splitting and reaching for Silver and his retreating dragon at the same time. As the tiny tentacles would head for Silver, they'd spread out AROUND his body, and would then move in as he hit ground, aiming to capture him in their grasp...


Absolutely nothing, well, almost nothing. The tentacle he'd move to land on would split apart in half, right in the area he was heading for, thin strands spacing apart like a massive net... Dame's movement would cause him to speed towards the net, as he was airborne already, his path practically impossible to change. As he hit the net of tiny tntacles, they'd wrap around his body, and hold him in place just like Cruxis and Vargus...


It was about this time that the energy surrounding Charon's body would wrap around the fallen body of Iris, the whirlwinds slamming against the energy surrounding the two and protecting the fallen girl from harm...


Or so he thought...

Charon had played a VERY nasty trick on Ryugi. He'd run RIGHT into her trap, acting just as she'd predicted. Every fighter had to deal with tentacles at SOME point in time, right? And what better way to deal with them than to hack your way through, right? Well, in this case, as Ragnarok had come in contact with the tentacle, Charon had split it apart herself to make it appear that he'd damaged it, but in reality, the two halves of tentacle re-joined behind Ryugi, and out of his view... Thin strands of tentacle quickly joined the two halves, and trapped Ryugi's advance in a web of tentacle, very similar to Dame's predicament. Ryugi wouldn't have a clue until his advance would jerk to a halt...

Cruxis pulled more energy into his being, pulling him to a total of 33 charges, the extra energy being sent into Hyouga where it could be stored, in the meantime, he thought up a plan, and did his best to think it to Ryudo, who was still in his shadow at this point.

Ryudo, I have a plan. It is a bit risky, but in this current situation, he don't have much of a choice. I'm going to reach my maximum, and then overcharge to gather enough energy to damage this vile being. It will cost a bit of my stamina, but it is a small price to pay to release us from this terrible force... Alert the others...and tell them to prepare for a large attack. If they have any energy remaining, they can join in to add to the damage.

Ryudo was still safe within his shadow, and gathering energy, bringing him to 10 turns of charge. He heard Cruxis and responded to him, before sending the message to everyone in the party.

Understood...

Listen up everyone. Cruxis is going to overcharge to gain enough power to damage this creature. When he does, be prepared for a major blast, and if you have any energy whatsoever, attack the target with everything you've got. Do not hold back, and aim for the center of the being. I will be acting as a distraction...be ready.

Vargus gathered energy up to 12 turns of charge, and nodded as she heard Ryudo's telepathic voice. She would hold off on attacking so she could heal the group after the initial attacks had taken place...

be careful you two... I'll do everything I can to help from this end...

Ryugi gripped Ragnarok tightly as he was held by the tentacle. He was already at his maximum of 15 turns of charge, and was ready to unleash them all when the time came...

As the group began to get slammed around, Ryudo burst up from his shadow, holding 20 turns of charge within his form after a supercharge, shadowy energy ripping away from his body as he launched himself into the air! Shadowy energy roared around him as a rune appeared on the clouds above the battlefield.

You are going back to HELL DEMON!!

GATE OF DESTRUCTION!!!

His voice was charged with fury as the sky crackled with his energy, drawing attention away from everything else as a massive pulse of energy crossed the skies!

And that was all Cruxis needed. He'd reached his maximum if 36 charges, and then, sacrificing his stamina, overcharged to 50 turns, dropping his stamina by nearly 50%.



With a thunderous call, the ground underneith Cruxis erupted as the warrior jumped into the air, the massive blast of energy shattering and frying the entirety of Charon's grip on him, the shape of a powerful blue magical symbol spinning around him. The air temperature dropped to nearly fifty degrees below zero as the full brunt of Cruxis' stored energy came to life at over its normal maximum power.

Massive chunks of ice spun around Cruxis' body as they then shot downwards towards the raging angel like thousands of foot long bullets, aiming to rip, tear, and shred her to pieces, and they were made of the same freezing cold ice as he'd tried to use on Iris before, meaning that the angel couldn't protect herself from these lightning fast chunks.

But the attack wasn't over as Cruxis rose, his entire body glowed with the white blue energy, his eyes glowing with a brilliant white light. The massive sword moved behind him as a massive blast of energy erupted after the shards would have already destroyed the angel. The energy was so wide, and so tall, that the only safe way Cruxis could use it within the confines of the battle was to leap high into the air.



The resulting blast of freezing ice energy would completely envelop the angel as she attempted to charge for her next attack. The severe temperature drop would have caused ice to form around the woman as the blast grew and neared, preventing her from moving or even so much as BLINKING to try and evade the attack. Charon would have no warning for the attack to hit him, and when it did, it would completely tear her to pieces.

After performing his titanic attack, Cruxis would land on the ground, and ready to continue the fight if this vermin managed to survive and continue to interfere with the well being of these innocent people.

The confining energy gone, Vargus would jump back and supercharge herself to her maximum energy level as well, her stamina draining, but she would be ready to supercharge the others as soon as their attacks finished...

As soon as the energy was gone and Cruxis unleashed his attack, Ryugi let loose with a massive blast of energy, unleashing his most powerful attack to date with terrible ferocity. No one had ever seen this attack used for nearly 300 years. Mainly because most battles were over before Ryugi had a chance to use it. But now, it was time to end this once and for all, and he WASN'T going to hold back one ounce.



With a thunderous pulse of energy, Ryugi let lose with all fifteen turns of charged energy, flames erupting around his body in a firestorm! The pulse of heated air alone would have enough force to send a person flying backwards nearly thirty feet if they weren't anchored or prepared. The searing heat of the air around Ryugi would be enough to burn skin and char clothing in minutes. After the initial burst of flame, a massive pillar of red hot energy leapt high into the sky, and a familiar form began to take shape around Ryugi's body as a high pitched cry rang across the field...



With another mighty pulse of energy, the phoenix shot into the sky, the pillar of flames still burning hotly! There would be immense suction as the air around the flames was pulled in to give them something to burn. If Charon wasn't careful, she'd be sucked into the raging inferno for even MORE damage. As the phoenix reached a massive height of nearly 1000 feet, it suddenly stopped within the pillar of roiling fire and its wings spread wide, as white energy began to collect in small white orbs that were drawn to a central point as the phoenix itself swirled into the collecting light. As the energy continued to grow, Ryugi's form burst into view where the phoeinx had left him, controling the massive flow of energy which began to take shape...



The flame pillar, which was still pulling at Charon, suddenly increased in intensity as the white light suddenly formed into none other than a titanic white sword! The massive glowing form was nearly 50 feet in length and hovered in front of Ryugi, who floated with outstretched arms. Two smaller points of light formed off to his sides, growing quickly into two smaller swords of about 10 feet in length each.



With a quick movement of his arms, both the smaller swords shot down towards Charon, moving at a terrible speed that caused them to reach the ground in rougly a second. As they would hit the ground near his no doubt struggling and roasting opponent, they would explode, one to either side of Charon. Each one would explode with enough force to easily knock her off ballance and rolling five feet, but with the powerful suction from the flame pillar's fury, they would be enough to send him into the roiling firestorm. But Ryugi wasn't through yet...



With a final push from Ryugi, the titanic energy sword shot down from the sky, passing through the pillar of flames that had surrounded it and Ryugi. As it did so, the flames were scliced apart in a dazzling display of red hot streamers, that suddenly twirled inward and followed in the slipstream created by the massive white sword!! The sword would aim to slam into Charon, not cutting her, but hitting her with nearly 500 pounds of force, as the powerful white light energy burned his body even worse than the flames could have, the intense heat instantly charring any plantlife within 20 feet of the eppicenter, cracks radiating out from the point of impact.

And then, to make things worse, the sword would explode roughly two seconds after drilling into the ground, burrying nearly half of its length into the earth below. The resulting explosion would send massive razor sharp chunks of rock, molten magma, and molten glass blasting across a radius of nearly half a mile in every direction, luckily the attack was directed AWAY from his friends and the surrounding trees. The heat would be enough to melt rock, and the force from the massive attack would be enough to carve a crater into the ground nearly thirty feet deep and about seventy five feet wide.

And if Charon had somehow managed to escape the massive explosion, sword, and molten chunks of the battlefield, the flames that had followed in the slipstream of the massive sword would slam into the ground a moment later, hitting the crater, baking the newly exposed ground in heat hot enough to turn sand to glass, and expanding outward to a distance of nearly one mile in every direction before finally disipating...

And, as the terrifying attack would come to an end, Ryugi would land on the rim of the crater he had created, aura gone, not an ounce of charged energy left inside him, with Ragnarok on his shoulder, ready to survey the effect of his attack...
