"Ack," Sabrina said. "Tyrannitars are a Dark type. Nasty type of Pokemon, if I may say so." Regal put one of its hands on its crown, and made a strange face, although it seemed to be in agreement with his trainer. Sabrina looked to her Pokemon and blinked, saying, "I thought Slowking were supposed to be more intelligent than Slowpoke?" The Slowking only held its mouth open, wearing a less-than-intelligent expression. Sabrina blinked again, and part of her was hoping that Slowking was only putting on a facade to appear stupid.
Regal looked up at the sky, wiping the stupid expression off of its face. It pointed up at something that was flying overhead. "Oohhhh-innnnng," it said simply. "Iiiiiiii-na.."
"What are you trying to say, Regal?" Sabrina asked it, then looked up as well. "Oh. Is that Nina?" she asked. Regal grunted, and then said, "Iiiii-na," again.
A few moments later, Nina landed, letting go of Mihoshi, who still had plenty of energy to go around.

Mag had taken the prompted escape and fled with Joe and Sally. What the hell was I thinking running off with Team Rocket? Mag thought as he got up from his room. I must be going insane or something. Oh well. Crazy people are always more interesting than 'normal' ones.
He walked out of his room. Looking about Rockets were moving everywhere. It seemed that everyone was in a bad mood about their plans for the festival being stopped.
"Gr. Joe is really pissed off about last night." Sally said as she walked over to Mag. "He thinks that maybe that Mitsu person is the one that broke into our computer the other night. Keeps raving about getting revenge on the backstabbing girl. But luckily he says they might still have some plans."

"I don't think dark types are nasty," Kasiya said, patting Adamantine. "Although I suppose if you specialized in Psychic types, I suppose they'd be pretty scary."
"Lar..." Adamantine walked slowly over to Sabrina, and gently tugged on her pantleg. "Lar. Lar," she said, giving a nod.
"The only dark types that I've ever known are friends of my friends," Kasiya said with a smile. "Ryka has Twilight, and he's quite the amazing little Umbreon. And Jaeshan has Mightyena. I'll never forget the day he evolved, either. It was pretty cool." She smiled, thinking of Sapphire next. "And Mitsu's Houndoom. He's really sweet too," she added, thinking of how the Houndoom had avoided attacking her yesterday. I hope he's okay, she thought, also remembering how hard both Portabello and Mightyena had hit him.

Seeing as Karri was enjoying herself Mitsu decided to release her other Pokemon. First she tossed Ivy's Pokeball out and he promtly disliked the heat, but he seemed ok. Second was Sapphire he layed down near the waters edge swiping at it occasionally. He seemed tired and still wounded from the previous night's battle.
Next up would be Pidgeotto, without the strength to fight he stood next to Sapphire glaring daggers at Nitro who had once again burnt his wings. Ebony was next and he merely floated around seemingly content. They all looked exhausted and not in any shape to battle a gym.
There was one Pokeball left, Nightmare's. I don't think I'm quite ready to release him yet. What if he acts like he did when he evolve? Thrashing and casuing destruction to everything. She remebered the pained look in his eyes at the Rocket base as well. She gave a sad smile and set the Pokeball down. Not now.

"But then again, I suppose Psychic types would be nasty if you specialized in Poison or Fighting types," Keegan reasoned, stretching his good arm. He did his best to keep the breezy hospital gown tucked in, and he suddenly wished it wasn't covered in a cheesy blue floral pattern. "I know what we have to do before we go to the gym," he said suddenly. "We need to go shopping." He gave a nod, looking around for any sign of a clothing store.

"I think you've forgotten one other Dark type!" Nina said, as she released Kuma from its Pokeball. The Sneasel rubbed its eyes and looked around a little bit, before it waddled around in a circle, then sitting beside Nina. "Eh heh," Nina chuckled, "she's either feeling very affectionate or very nervous right now." She squatted down beside Kuma and scratched behind one of its ears, which resulted in a purr-like noise coming from the Pokemon. Nina's head then turned toward Sabrina. "See?" she said. "Dark types aren't nasty."
Sabrina almost carefully patted Adamantine on its head, half expecting it to rear back and attack her. When the Larvitar didn't, she relaxed, but only to a slight degree. "They're one of the three worst types for me to fight," Sabrina said; "Not to mention that I can't damage them at all with any Psychic move that I know."
"Oh," Nina said to Keegan, "you should go to the Goldenrod City Department Store! They've got everything you could want and more." She chuckled and thought, Jeez, why don't I just be a spokesperson for the store?

What was he worrying about? He took down all the other Gym Leaders no problem. How was this one going to be any different? Mike submerged all but his head in the water, thinking up strategies against the Fire spcialist.
"Shiver is half Ice..." He said to himself, noting off all his Pokemon. "Portabello is out, and if Titanium doesn't get hit first he may take a thing or two out."
Mike listed off all his Pokemon in his head. All the while Nitro was conversing with Mitsu's Pokemon, Portabello still medatating outside.

Meanwhile, Flannery had just entered the Lavaridge Pokemon Center, ready to give her team a full check up. After exchanging pleasantries with Nurse Joy, the fiery gym leader handed over her Pokeballs, sitting up on the counter with one foot on the floor, the other folded underneath her. Her long red hair, usually pulled up into a a tight flaming ponytail, was hanging lously down over her shoulders and back for the time being. She looked longingly towards the doorway that lead to the hot springs, but sighed. She had to get back to the gym quickly, for she didn't want to keep potential challengers waiting.

"Always thinking of battle huh Mike?" Mitsu said hearing him name off his Pokemon. "And what happened to this training you were talking about last night?" Mitsu said with a small laugh. Truth be told she was eager for a match herself although she wasn't quite sure if her Pokemon were up for it. All of them seemed so tired except for Karri.

"Shopping it is," Kasiya said, holding up Adamantine's Pokeball and recalling her, only to have Shocker release herself instead. "These things sure are easy to get out of," she said with a laugh as Shocker made her way up and onto Kasiya's shoulder, using her long tail to balance herself and hold on.
"Rai!" the Raichu said, waving at Nina and Sabrina happily.

"Did I not promise you a training fight after the Gym battle?" Mike said, hoping he didn't forget. He sat there motionless for what seemed like an hour, although it was only about thirty seconds. He couldn't take it anymore, hot springs brought too many memories. He climbed out, making sure not to get anyone wet, and reached for his towel, which was also flame decaled. Wrapping the firey towel around his waist, Mike walked through the doors to the Pokemon Center.
He looked up, his eyes widening and his heart all but stopped. He stood there frozen in the doorway.
Oh no! Not you!

Mitsu ducked under the warm water a bit. Mike's been acting strange lately. A few second later she resurfaced looking at her Pokemon a bit. "I think another trip to the Center would do you guys some good." Mitsu said seeing them less energetic than usual. She recalled them one at a time leaving Karri out.
She stepped out, grabbed a towel and dried herself off a bit. Karri picked up all the Pokeballs and held them tight. Wrapping it around herself she stepped through the door only to find Mike frozen in his tracks and a few feet away was Flannery, the Lavaridge gym leader.

"Thanks, Nurse Joy," Flannery said as she reclaimed her fiery team. She glanced over as a figure walked in form outside. "Hey, I didn't know you'd come home," she said, waving at Mike. "How have you been? I see you've grown quite a bit in the last while." She winked with the last statement. "And you've still got that cute flame towel," she added. "Who's this, a friend of yours?" she asked, nodding to Mitsu.

Mike tried to play it off cool, opening his mouth to talk. All that came out was a squeak. Needless to say he covered his mouth and reddened quite fast, inching away to the changing rooms.
Not good, this is not good at all. Mike thought to himself as he got into his normal clothes. Opening his locker, he noticed a little peice of paper fall out from the side of the door. What's this?" He opened it up, it simply said.

The messy writing was followed by a rather embarrasing heart. Was I out of my freakin' mind?!

"Hm, oh. The names Mitsu, pleased to meet you." she said with a small nod of her own. "Ah if you'll excuse me for a sec." she said with a sheepish grin and walked off to the other changing rooms. I knew it she thought tucking the wet towel away. She changed back into her normal gear and walked back into the Pokemon Center in time to see Karri hand all of her Pokemon back to Nurse Joy.
