With the quick blow to the chest Kenzi was sent backward, and his feet actually lifted off of the ground. He slid to a halt after spreading his legs and digging into the ground with his shoes. When near a halt his eyes moved away from the ground and shot instead to Suka seeing the dagger coming and it was less than afoot away, so it hit directly and immediately he grabbed at it pulling it out. When it was out of his shoulder he'd come to a halt, and after hopping back three onyx colored spikes shot out from where he'd slid and headed for Suka. As they neared him they crashed into each other and then split into four different points all connected for around three feet. The four new points aimed at his shoulders and upper legs just below the waist. While they moved he jumped out of the way and stopped hard on the ground stumbling a little bit as he threw Suka's dagger back at him and created a mare energy orb which immediately shot out at Suka right after the dagger had. This string of attacks was meant to give him time to actually think out what his next move would be...he didn't know that the string would be very effective at all, actually expecting it to all be deflected and some reflected to be used against him. He didn't speak, but paused as he watched for Suka's reactions.

After throwing his dagger, Suka watched Kenzi throw attack after attack at him and could barely keep up. First came the spikes out of the ground and he dodged one of the parts headed for his shoudler, getting hit in his left shoulder with one of them and in both legs. He jumped to break free of the sharp spikes and pulled out what broke off, watching as the part still connected to the ground shattered. He landed to have a dagger thrown at him, and he caught it in his teeth sloppily, slitting the inside of his mouth and getting hit directly in the stomach with the Mare energy orb. The final hit from the Mare energy orb had him on the ground. It happened so quick he had no time to think about how he was going to react before he saw that he was reacting already. His eyes already purple grew deeper as he went through his normal transformation into his Nightmare form, halting the wings making their way out and he jumped at Kenzi with his claws in ripping position, hitting him in the sholder and twisting his own wrist to rip at Kenzi's flesh as he kicked off of him with both of his legs as hard as he could for the moment. As Kenzi was thrust into the ground he threw a wave of Nightmare Energy at him and skid across the gorund with his claws dug in the ground. He pulled another dagger inthis time and still having the other dagger in his mouth the whole time he'd done this he threw the other dagger and spat the dagger in his mouth along with a short spray of blood into his hand. He gripped it hard and jumped at the trunk of the tree, climbing into the bulk of it waiting for Kenzi's reaction so that he could jump out at him from that new height.

Ananda floated at the very bottom of the lake, holding a tiny chunk of crystal in her hands. This is beautiful. I hope it's alright for me to bring it back. She realized suddenly that she had been underwater for an awfully long time, and she was runnung out of air. There was no way she was going to make it back to the surface. She sighed, releasing a huge cloud of bubbles. Nothing for it, I guess. Good thing Rille did what she did for my gift, I suppose. She had to concentrate hard to bring herself back to a shallow part of the lake. She stood there for a moment, breathing heavily. "That...was stupid. Never...again." She shivered. Holding the chunk of crystal tightly, she swam slowly back and forth in the shallower water. Looking towards the shore, she noticed that the other person Kenzi had pointed out...Yuri, that's what he called him...was watching her. With a frown, she also realized that she had managed to teleport to the wrong side of the lake, putting her on the other side from the fight...and her clothes. "Damn. I need more practice, I guess." She began to wade out of the water. Not trusting her power, not after the trick it had just pulled on her, she decided it would be better to just walk to the other side.

Kana eyed the two carefully, completely silent now as her tail flicked slowly behind her. Her ears were flattened back and all her excitement about visiting the lake had been replaced by anxiousness and fear. She sat down in the grass beside the lake, very slowly, as if afraid sudden movments would draw Suka or the other's attention to her. Though, they seemed to be focused upon each other for now... She drew her legs to her chest, chin settled upon her knees as she watched them quietly. Her eyes widened in alarm as she saw the one push Suka with his foot, and she flinched very slightly as Suka jumped up and kicked him in response. But then she saw the injuries, as Suka pulled off his shirt, and her eyes darted in alarm to Yuri before shifting back to him. What was he doing, fighting while still injured?! But then her attention shifted to the other, and she closed her eyes and hugged her legs tighter as the dagger sunk into the male's shoulder. She couldn't help peeking one eye back open again though, as she stared at them in a sort of stunned horror. Why were they fighting? That was the main thing running through her head. She flinched yet again when Suka was hit by a series of attacks and shot another nervous glance towards Yuri.

Yuri watched with his own amount of interest, worried about the other people rather than Suka or Kenzi individually. If somethign happened to Suka, he could take care of himself...if something happened to Kenzi there would be one less problem for the world to deal with for a little while-though he would never say that aloud. He watched Suka get flushed out of his position by Kenzi's series of attacks and looked at Kana afterward, seeing she was then shooting a glance of her own at him. He did not say anything about it though, and let her without saying anything...he trusted that she would know that he would step in if something truly went wrong. He had to gather information one way though, and this was one of the best. Though pulling his eyes off of Ananda to watch the fight and check on Kana he had not seen her move to shallower water with some sort of crystal in her hand. He blinked a few times as he wondered where she'd found it...and watched her make her way out of the water. When he noted the direction she was headed he called out to her. "Hey!...Don't go back over there...you should stay over here with Kana and I....Safe and out of the way." He spoke so freely to this stranger because his main priority was always to protect. And now he was needed for that more than anything...at least he thought.

Ananda raised an eyebrow at him, turning to walk over towards the pair. "Safe, out of the way, cold, and wet. And mostly undressed." She shook her head. "Do I look stupid to you? Nevermind, I don't want to know. Anyways, there's no way I was going to get caught up in that." She gestured with one hand towards the fight going on across the lake. "I know when I'm outclassed." Another argument coming to her, she added "I don't even know who you are. Although I assume you're the one Kenzi called Yuri?" Meddlesome fellow. But none of this is getting me dry and dressed. She turned away from them, starting to walk away from them around the lake again. She twised the crystal idly in her hand, watching it catch the sunlight as she walked.

Karin was focusing hard, trying to figure out where she was headed. She'd caught Suka's scent, but it was very faint. Now she actually had both eyes closed as she focused only upon following it. But then a few other familiar scents came to her and she stopped dead in her tracks, eyes widening. It smelled like... would Kana possibly be there? And that other guy too? The one who'd saved her? She clenched her fists slightly, and then broke into a run, sprinting forward through the trees of the forest. Just a few minutes later, she broke into a clearing, and skidded to a halt.
It seemed Suka had already discarded his shirt, and had already gotten involved in another fight. "...idiot," she mumbled under her breath, taking a small step back as she watched Suka being pummeled by the other male, who she did not recognize. But she saw Kana and that other guy, Yuri, and let out a slow breath of relief as she noted they were away from the fight. Then she allowed herself to watch again, bakcing up another step as she saw Suka spit out blood and the dagger from his mouth. She felt she'd missed a lot, but both seemed to be bleeding and injured, Suka more than the other. She paused, glancing behind herself as she realized she'd backed right into a tree. So she bit her lip and turned her slightly widened eyes back towards Suka once more.

Kenzi watched a little shocked that all of them had hurt him somehow, and during his shock he saw Suka transform quickly to his Nightmare form, but without the wings it was hard to tell. It was obvius though when he caught his eyes and watched him jump at him. Upon Contact Kenzi threw his right arm up at Suka, though it wasn't quick enough as Suka pulled both legs up and kicked Kenzi to the ground, ripping at hisflesh even further and sending blood into the air. When Kenzi hit the groundh e turned over and his tail was there again, though it meant nothing at all...so far as Kenzi knew. He jumped away from the tree, smeling where he was and putting his two fingers together as he skid to a stop and turned toward him, rising steadily with his legs all with one flowing movement. When he reached his normal height Dark lightning jolts were circling his hand and a large bolt shot off from his two fingers at Suka, splitting multiple times as it did, the bulk of it aiming for the moving center of its target as the rest of them shot off in random directions all connected to his two fingers until he pulled them away and jumped to the side just in case again. He watched carefully...wondering how badly Suka was really injured, since the wounds seemed pretty shallow in comparison with Suka's strength. was there internal damage?

When Kenzi rolled over and began to move away, that was when Suka leapt from the tree. He was quick, but Kenzi had risen and sent Dark Lightningat him and he could not dodge the attack, it hit him straight in the chest and then another his his shoulder. He did not make it to Kenzi but hit the ground instead and barely kept from falling, his abdomen bleeding from the new lightning and the old lightning both together now. He stood there a moment, and that was when Kenzi moved again, but Suka was tired of missing and then getting hit so he let his wings release and send blood flying out of his back, little blood compared to his wounds. With them he thrusted them at the ground once and sped off at Kenzi, grabbing him by the neck in his retreat and throwing him into the ground, skidding to a halt past where Kenzi was then laying in the dirt. He turned to him, and realizing that it may end up being too late for him to turn the fight around if he did not change right then, he let himself change a little further, Nightmare Level 2. Visibly he became more bulk, not much but that was the appearance of the new Nightmare. His wings grew thicker and wider spread and he waved his arm toward Kenzi's body, a large orb appearing half-distance already shooting off at Kenzi's waist. In the same moment, he noticed Karin's scent over his own blood and looked around for her seeing her at a tree..."What perfect timing..." he said to himself, returning his look to Kenzi so that he would not miss anything he sprung.

Kenzi watched yet another attack hit, and began to decide not to be surprised that he was winning-but just as he was deciding this he was picked up hard by the neck and thrown into the ground. As he began to pull himself up he looked over at Suka through hair that had fallen in his face, seeing him transform further into his Nightmare form and being too slow to getting to his feet to dodge the quickly speeding Nightmare attack that had appeared out of nowhere. He was hit directly and rolled across the ground a couple times before he kicked off of the ground, using the wind to readjust himself in his landing so that he would not fall again. Once there he turned to Suka and heard him speak, with no idea of what he was talking about. Maybe he was praising himself for a good attack on him..he oculd not figure it out but did not wait for that to happen and shot two more bolts of Dark Lightning at him with his fingers pressed together once more. When this was shooting at Suka though, Kenzi remembered one of his techniques and smirked evilly...the most familiar smirk amongst Demons and Wraiths alike. He pulled his fingers apart, the fingers being of his right hand, and he turned his palm, within the moment his Darke Marble appeared in his hand and he dropped it on his left arm. He kept looking at Suka as the marble liquified and slipped under his armwarmer...sinking into his skin and then creating awkward black markings up his arm. The smirk widened again and he looked up at Suka, daring him with his eyes to attack him close-range now. Secret weapon in place.

He watched the Dark Lightning ocome at him, and opened his palm, Nightmare energy forming two identical Lightning Bolts that hit the attacks directly. They collided and yet some of the energy from Kenzi's attack got through and hit Suka in the neck. He grabbed at his neck and waited a moment for the pain to subside before balling his hand into a fist as Kenzi applied his Darke marble to his arm and on the inside Nightmare Energy formed. Suka jumped into the air and moved his wings darting at the ground toward him after the arm had finished and Kenzi gave him that look, wanting to whipe the smirk right off of his face. When his foot met Kenzi's arm, Suka let his fist unclench and the Nightmare energy shot out in a rain of energy that hit Kenzi multiple times at close range. When all the enrgy had released he made an attempt to kick off of Kenzi again and as he made the attempt he pulled out two more Daggers, hodling them firmly in his grip as he watched Kenzi moving further away from him. The pause that came from him during his attack's release could have caused him dearly if Kenzi was the type to plan ahead based on facts recently learned. But he wasn't and that benefitted him..but the more he fought the more he wondered if this would actully be negative in his attempt at making Karin no longer scared of him...Only because she watched.

Karin continued watching, pressing her back more firmly against the tree as if wishing she could shrink away from this whole sight. She was very tempted to just turn and walk away again, but at the same time was unable to leave them alone like this. She glanced once more towards Yuri and Kana, wondering why he was just standing there and not doing anything. Maybe he didn't see a good reason to break up this fight? Well, she did. Her eyes swept across Suka's wounds, which were all steadily bleeding. She flinched each time he was hit, including when he'd let his wings grow out. She'd also noticed that he'd seemed to change somehow, becomming a little more bulky for one.
She honestly wasn't sure what was going on. Why was he fighting anyway? Especially when he was injured! But even throught all this, she still had to admit he was scary, especially now that she saw him fighting another. It was always rather terrifying to see him. It was the same way during his fight with Kana. Her fists clenched as she slipped them back into her sweatshirt's pockets, still pressed against the tree. Without even realizing it, she began swirling some of the water in the lake around, causing a small, currently harmless whirlpool. Her gaze was fixed upon the fight, taking in everything that happened. The more time passed, the more violent the little whirlpool grew, but Karin didn't even seem to notice. It was almost like a stress relief of some sort.

Ananda reached the other side of the lake. By now, she was mostly dry, although her hair was still dripping, and she dressed quickly. It really had been too cold for swimmimg, she decided. She slipped the chunk of crystal into her pocket, although she was determined to study it more later. Right now, she had a few 'I told you so's to say to that Yuri. She watched Kenzi and Suka fight for a moment. He was definately holding back during our fight. For which I probably owe him my life, she thought reluctantly. She started to walk back around the lake, still not trusting her power to take her very far. After all, it hadn't been functional for very long.

As soon as Kenzi finished applying the Marble to his arm he noted that with the look he shot Suka he'd leapt at him. He pulled his left arm quickly up, and Suka hit it there-his arm absorbing the blow completely but he couldn't move it as it continued to absorb the force put into it as Suka released his Nightmare energy. He sclosed his eyes and grabbed at Suka's leg with his right arm, this was when Suka kicked off of his left arm and Kenzi caught him before he left from him. He ignored Suka's daggers and pulled him toward him from mid-air, jumping off the ground as he pulled himself up to Suka's position in a split second, swinging his foot around to Suka's face. He made contact and pushed off of Suka after directly hitting him in the face, skidding on the ground on all fours when he landed. He looked up through his hair at him, holding his right arm out and curling his fingers slightly as he created more Dark Lightning, a lager amount since it was not simply his two fingers. He did this and when he moved his fingers the Lightning would encircle him and then shoot out in random directions, ignoring the electric attraction to water and without aim it would be sent toward those who watched the fight and Suka on the ground. He watched with firm grip and launch position so that he could dodge a physical attack from Suka rather than absorb another and make him vulnerable to any after-effects of contact as he had just done.

Suka watched him as he was moving away and then felt Kenzi's hand on his leg, the quickness which he moved kept him from reacting though and took the kick in the face hard relevied that he pushed off of him afterward and instead of falling to the gorund he turned mid-air and skid across it almost losing balance before he tossed the two daggers that were in his hands at him and then stomped the grass with his feet in a certain way, his daggers all falling to the ground and he held his hand over them quickly, one of them shooting into it and he threw that one at Kenzi too, the others following at the same speed, making it harder for Suka to miss as the range of his attack became quite wide. Once he'd thrown the attack, he pulled off of the gorund with his wings and spread his fingers wide, pulling them toward his chest tand then swinging them out toward him, another barrage of Nightmare energy flying out at Kenzi same speed as the daggers were. He hovered there a moment looking at his chest in his time, he was bleeding pretty badly now, and noticed when he looked down that his mout was still bleeding from the dagger inside of it and then the blow to the face after trying to push off of Kenzi's arm. This fight seeemed a lot better matched than he had thought it would be at first...
