"Actually, now that I think about it, getting only a few hour's sleep might be worse then me going without sleep at all." She replied, snugging into her stuffed animal. She yawned, one of her tails snaking around his leg in a hug, drifting off to sleep before she could say another word.
Kage merely watched from the shadows of her mind, wondering what was happening outside of the room and upset that he didn't know.

When she was asleep, he whispered out. "I know you can hear me Kage. You had better not become such a burden on Neko that I would have to find a way to rid her of you."

Kage sat there silently, unable to reply. However, now with his host asleep, he hoped to gleen the information the shadows had for him. He opened his ears to the shadows again, and consequently, Neko's as well.
Her eyes shot open. "GAH! I just fell asleep! Erg...." She covered ehr ears again. Why me? She thought absently.

"He can't help it." Neko said, surprised that she was defending the little parasite in her brain. He mentally glared at her for that. "He just wants to know what's going on, though I swear Kage, if you do that one more time I swear I will take your body and leave it to rot!"
That got him to stop and to attempt sleeping. "And I would prefer it if you did not shout Asmodai." She said sleepily, going to sleep again.

He got back up, going back to the window. He sighed, wishing he knew what was going on just as much as Kage did.

Neko was sound asleep, mewing as she dreamt. She snuggled into her pillow more, having a happy dream about before her siblings died. She sighed happily, finally able to have a peaceful moment after being berated by Kage and his shadows for so long.

Neko opened her eyes, and realized that trying to sleep now would be futile. Without a word she got up, got dressed in a red tank top and black capris, and bruched her teeth and hair. She pulled on her shoes as she tossed her newly done braid over her shoulder and walked out the door.
"I'm going for a walk Asmodai." She said cheerfully. "Stay outa trouble while I'm gone!"

He watched her go and looked down. "She does not want me with her. But why would anyone... It would probably be best if I were not here when she gets back."
He collected his things and disappeared out the back door, climbing up to the roof and leaping from rooftop to rooftop, not caring where he was going or what direction he was heading.

She pulled herself out of the shadows in her room in the Ties, and thought a whole long string of curses that impressed Kage when she found that Asmodai wasn't here. She followed his scent into the city, praying to God that he was alright.

The two appear from Neko's shadow jump. As soon as he materializes, blood begins to stain the floor. "Not sure...if I'll make it Neko. Don't know...why I'm still alive as it is."

She dind't even bother with replying. She ran to her desk and hurridly rummaged through it, pulling out her first aid kit which she had stowed in there for emergancies. She helped him take off his shirt as she cleaned and dressed the wound. "You're alive because he is. I told you. Two halves of a whole, but if one half dies, so does the other." She made sure to apply a hell of a lot of preassure to the wound to slow the bleeding.
