Hello all... Hope you are all doing fine.
Glitter, Don't let your family make you feel bad about what you feed D. I don't make all my babies foods either. He eats table foods and all but, I feed him babyfood's as well. Usually the fruit ones as a snack. You are a great mom! heart

Thanks. It's just the more of them there are in one area at the same time the more obnoxious they get about it.
I refused to go over there today because most of my relatives are there.

When my family tryed to give advice to me I would filter most of it out. Each person had a different way of doing something and they all were right. I would be listening to them. Give some comment's like... Really... ok... sounds good... I'll try that.... But, when it came down too it. I did things my way. You know your little man better than anyone so don't second guess your feelings about how things should be done for him. He is lucky to have such a loving mom! Don't let your family get to you...

Well, Ally you also haven't dealt with as much as we have.
I'm with my son all day long, 24 hours a day. I've been through a lot with him and I know his needs. Some people just don't seem to realize that.
My mother and father tried to make me feel bad for circumcizing but I told them too bad, it happens. My mom after that, just left it alone. My dad is REALLY bad about feeding babies too young and candy. I'm sure I'll have to deal with it when we go home for vacation.
Great advice wicked!

My mom gave D icecream! I got my son circumsized for health reasons. I figure he's your son you should know better.
That is unless you're my aunt Jule who gave her 8 and 6 year old their own wine coolers. stressed

I'd love to chat, but I rarely have time to actually join in a conversation; I'm usually stuck in lurker mode. I'm looking forward to a break somewhere in November. stressed Let's pray I make it that long.

Orophin sweatdrop stuck in lurker mode? It means I read through the posts but typically don't respond. I've actually been doing better for the past day or two. I'm in graduate school right now and they've got me reading a ton of stuff, so basically outside of my family, I usually spend all my time with my nose in a book. I try to visit the guild at least once a day, but I don't always have time to post/chat, so in a sense, I'm lurking in the shadows.
