The buds were appearing in a faster rate than she had imagined... she had encounter two in such a short while. It was worrying, to say the least. She needed to report to Sako...see if they had some way of destroying them in a more...efficient manner. Perhaps see if Touma had returned to the base too...
She was just walking in, when a young man with a yellow scarf was walking out. Luvia stopped before crashing against him, the guy laughing sheepishly. ""Oh, hey? You here to see Makoto, too? I'm Daichi...nooot that you asked or anything. But still, first time I've seen you...nice to meet ya! ...Oh! Got to go. Let's talk more next time!"
The white haired girl didn't even have the time to give him her name before he was scurrying down the road. Huh... she would have to ask about him.

Damn those buds. They were everywhere! Luvia had been investigating the ruins of the Samegawa when something caught her attention. Eyes widened just as the telltale hissing noise began. "Shi-" The bud exploded before she could react... and even if she had tried to turn around and escape... the gas was already doing its effect. Coughing took over her as much as she tried to cover her mouth and nose with her scarf...She lost her footing... her strength was leaving her...
Still... she managed to get out in time... taking in a great gulp of fresh air. That... had been too darn close.

 Amora Necromonium Amora turned the coins over in her hands, glancing over it.
"What good are you to me.." she thought, before seeing a strange purple being dropping from the sky. At this though, the coin flowed from her hands, and morphed into a demon."Nyeeaaaarrghh..Are you my master now? Tch..." the demon with a butler suit, and a candelabrum [No Kisa, not that kind] spoke. For a few moments, it turned, and swiveled it around, flames roaring around it...And, the being was disintegrated into the fire.

So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"Twice today he had ventured into town; twice now he had seen one of the neurotoxin Hershey Kiss abominations that were the Alioth Spores drop down in front of him. This time, however, his devil hadn't been out in front of him to scout out the danger. Realizing immediately when the Spore landed that he was too close to the thing to escape the cloud of toxins if it exploded straight away. Pulling his arm over his face he tried to pull back as soon as he realized the danger...but the loud pop that filled the street was the sound of a death knell. The gas was already spreading...he could feel his equilibrium begin to fail him. s**t...his eyes were losing focus, his vision swimming...what a ******** way for these Septentriones to attack them...diabolical, really. Chemical, biological warfare...even as strong as those monsters were, this was what they came to, huh?

And another one of those things. She was still coughing when another pop was heard not so far away from where she was standing, a curse muttered under her breath. They were coming in shorter intervals now... but still...so erratic. It was impossible to decipher the pattern, if there was one at all. Leanan Sidhe sent healing magic her way, her strength returning to her...before nearing the place where she had heard the noise. She tightened the blue scarf around her nose and mouth and walked closer... only to see a collapsed figure right in the middle of the spore-covered air. "Touma!" She felt her heart jumping up to her throat... and she dashed in without thinking. "Come on.. you can't just die... like this!" He was heavier than she thought... and she could feel her eyes watering... her throat closing. She pulled him out of the toxin cloud with a final tug, using the rest of her strength...before falling to her back... gasping for air as Leanan Sidhe healed them. "You... hotheaded...idiot."

Bifrons called, roasting another spore that descended from the sky...aiming to likely target his master."You're pretty cool too, Bifrons!" she retorted, a firm and broad smile coming to her face. The demon seemed to have a reckless abandon, attacking those that would threaten her, and was just as willing to kill as she was.
Amora almost didn't want to even go through the Auction anymore, content she'd found her new favorite demon. His suit, his fire, and his...bloodlust.
It kind of reminded her of her father...Minus the bloodlust part. So you guys work hard, while I live it up, got it?"All of the haze made his thoughts muddled, his perception blurry, and his body sluggish...he barely noticed the feeling of arms around his chest under his arms dragging him, the sound of a voice pleading with him not to die like this in the middle of the road due to these stupid toxins. All he could see was a watery light, feel the drowsiness and numbness filling his body...until at last he was dropped again and his senses slowly began to return...the toxin having not reached the critical state to finish him. He would recover with help from her devil...and as it worked its magic, his consciousness slowly returning...he could hear a voice chiding him, something about...hotheaded idiot?
"Not like...I planned it this way," he coughed out, laying flat on his back and looking up at the sky as he waited for his muscles to start responding to his commands again, "Damn Septentriones...have it out for me. Think they know I've got *cough* their number..."

One could hear Bifrons chuckling in the backround as Amora's heel dug into a fractured phone, piles of ash where humans had been. She'd been sent to infiltrate a small base of would-be rioters, and was to find out their plans...And if they opposed JPs, to take care of them.
While she hadn't learnt of their plans, Bifrons was more than eager to take care of the humans....and she was all too willing to oblige.
"Mmm..Yes. I'm always happy to help you, Yamato."
Her father would be proud..she could handle missions all on her own now.

"Mm..." The girl hummed in agreement, turning her head to the side to look at him. A little moan escaped her lips as she coughed, sitting up with effort. "Yeah... it is an awful way to go... Just don't go off wandering by yourself, again." It would be dumb to deny she was worried about him. She had been worried sick...and the drummer hadn't left her mind during all the time they had been separated. He was someone she had learned to trust...despite the little time they had of knowing each other. This was a dire situation...a terrible world to live in. And she didn't want him to die.
Luvia stood up... giving him a hand to help him stand. Her legs still felt a little wobbly, but she was able to manage. That was... until she saw an object flying in their direction...the bud crash-landing not so far away. Her eyes widened... she took the pink haired drummer's hand and just ran. They were in no condition to take on one of those things right now... They just had to run.

Hurry!" a voice called from down the road, waving them into an empty warehouse in the Downtown Strip, an invitation that Touma didn't need a lot of convincing to take up as he took the white-haired girl's hand and pulled her in behind the teen in the yellow scarf, pulling the door shut sharply behind them. It didn't appear as though the Alioth Spores were mobile, but their gas was still lethal within a certain range and none of them wanted to be anywhere near those things when they burst lest they be caught in the danger zone. Letting out a breath, the teen stood next to a friend in a white hood with strange, ear-like protrusions who caught his breath silently, nodding at each of them before returning attention to fusing devils using his App. Instead, the one who waved them in leaned back against the door and covered his heart as if having an attack of some sort. "Man, that was WAY too close. Good thing we found you out here before you got caught by another one of those Spores, huh?" the kid smiled genuinely, while Touma merely leaned against the wall to take a moment to assess the situation...and the boy, now recognizable, approached Luvi with a smile, "Remember me? From the base? I'm Daichi Nijima. I recognized you out there and I knew I couldn't let you guys get caught. And...hey, don't you look familiar?" He turned to Touma, but the drummer merely turned his head away, too annoyed at the Spores and his own near-death to answer.
"Uh...a-anyway! I'm glad you're safe...but we need to get out of here. This whole strip is getting covered in those spores. It's like they're moving in one direction..." he mused idly, not really connecting dots there in the way that Touma's mind suddenly began to, eyes flashing as he glanced at the boy out of the corner of his eye, "Anyway, we need to get moving. You can come with, or leave when you're ready. Just stay safe you guys, all right?"

She was grateful Daichi had found them when he did. Luvia caught her breath as she leaned against a wall...letting her strength to return to her little by little. She smiled faintly at the boy with the yellow scarf and thanked him...before turning to look at Touma, who looked terribly ticked off for some reason. Eyebrows narrowed in thought, before nodding to the two as they ran out of their hiding spot. Her eyes turned back to her companion, before tilting her head to the side.
"What do you say? Should we go with them? The more the merrier, right?" Of course... she knew he would never accept that. Was he some kind of lone wolf, or...?
