Tenma couldn’t help but giggle lightly at Rhiam focus on food. There was a smile on her face as the child thought about her first meal encounter with the Nara family. “I would love to show you someday; but you will have to show me how much you have grown in exchange. Alright?” It was obvious that the girl was finally settling back into her comfort zone around the boy, even with her not seeing him in so long. “I do believe I saw your Mother getting some…prawns, are they? All I know is that they are often on the dinner table, so I have learned to like them. Then again, it helps that your Mother is a wonderful cook.” The air was still warm as the two children, though Rhiam was beginning to grow out of childhood, continued down the path towards the village. A rock caught Tenma’s eye, so she began kicking it down the path as they travelled along – obviously amused. “I hope you do not mind how much of the task I did…I have developed into quite the busy worker since I began working in the back of the ramen shop and I did sort of take over there.” There was a sincerity in her voice but she felt like slapping herself for not thinking about the while they were working so that she could give him more of a chance.

Rhaim pulled out a single hand and held it just above his own head. He then moved the hand over Tenma's head at the same height that it was over his own. His expression and the direction of his head never changed, "I've grown this much. Well that was easy."
At the mentioning of prawns Rhaim stopped momentarily and then started back up again without a word. The last time he had had any was the last time he had eaten with Tenma. It was one thing to miss his favorite meal once in a while with his schedule being what it was, but to miss all of them over two years. The teen wanted to just stop right there and sulk at his misfortune. A practical joke by his own mother two years in the making. He would have to think of something good to get her back with.
After sighing away the food related depression he shrugged, "You're better than me. Always were. Nothing wrong with that."

Yet another soft giggle could be heard from the child when she looked up at Rhiam’s hand. “You know exactly what I mean, Rhiam.” The gentle slope of a smile could be seen on her face until the boy mentioned her being better than he was. This time it was her turn to pause while walking, only to start again for the sake of keeping up. “What are you talking about? I have always had to ask for your assistance because you are such a knowledgeable shinobi. We have our unique strengths and, though that sets apart in various areas, it doesn’t make me better than you. After all, there is nothing special or impressive about my abilities.” There was a slight shrug to her shoulders when she came to a close. It was true that she never considered herself particularly strong; but she also knew that there were many people her age, some even older, that wouldn’t stand a chance in a fight against her.

As the duo came upon the clearing next to the river there was a visible smile on the girl’s face. Her eyes danced about as the roar of the water filled the air. It was particularly active today; so much so that she would be curious to see how Rhiam held up if that’s what he chose to do. The spirit inside of her stirred in contentment of being near its home, where it was strongest. There were some light signs of the girl’s training days in the area: an area where flowers didn’t bloom because that was where she sat to meditate, a log, currently hidden in the bushes, that she used to practice taijutsu on, and broken tree limbs from her failed attempts at tree walking. This place had become as much of a home as the Nara compound and Tenma always felt safe there. “So, Rhiam,” Though it was obvious that she was happy her voice maintained control, which was something that she needed to practice. “what would you like to do?” This time Tenma was going to leave it completely up to him – she chose the location after all.

[enter from Konohagakure]
Rhaim came into the area with slight indifference. While he had trained there plenty of times in the past, nothing about it seemed either familiar or foreign. It simply was the place that it was to the boy. He did however note that apparently Tenma enjoyed just being near the water quite a bit more than anything else. With a slight sigh he walked up to the waters' edge and stared at the liquid. Nothing about being inside of it seemed like a very good idea, tactically or otherwise. To the girls' question he turned and gave her an inquisitive squint, "You can't back out now. We came all the here after all. May as well learn something."

Tenma was glad that Rhiam wasn’t going to back out, even with the choppy waters. However, this meant that the girl would have to be on high alert incase he began struggling: this wasn’t worth getting hurt over. With a practiced hand the child removed the ribbon from her hair, rapidly braided it, and knotted the ribbon once more at the base. Her bangs still swung free and there were loose wisps playing about her face but otherwise the mess was relatively contained. “So, I suppose the whole reason people would fight in water is if one fell in or was pushed in and another had a tactical advantage: like the Hoshigake clan, for instance. Some of the stronger ones will not hesitate to create a body of water for their fighting purposes. Water is often overlooked as a fighting based environment, in my opinion. There are many different moves that you can perform down there without risking injury that, if you were unable to perform it on land, would bring you a considerable amount of pain. Water can be an effective torture device in some instances. There is also the idea that the environment can kill an opponent if used properly. However, if one lacks respect and does not stay alert they could quite possibly pay the price with that very same result.” Maybe Rhiam knew this already, but this was Tenma’s terrain – no one knew it better than she did. She had moved so that her feet were beginning to enter the water. “When striking underwater, if you get the opportunity to, the liquid will attempt to slow your motion. But if you lay your hand flat and close into a fist at the last chance you’ll be able to get a far stronger strike. Otherwise I do not know what to tell you. Ready?”

Rhaim listened to the lengthy explanation, his mind wandering by the time she got to the second sentence. Somehow he expected more of a demonstration and less of an instructional lecture. In the end the only thing he truly heard was the girl ask him if he was ready. He looked around himself momentarily to see if she was really talking to him. With another sigh the Nara stepped out onto the water and walked out a few feet over its' surface. His hands were still securely in his pockets with the chakra flow at a higher concentration under his feet. Though not as stable as he was on land, he didn't feel entirely trusting of the current beneath him.
He turned back to the girl with a shrug, "Ready for what?"

With a slight sigh the girl shook her head and too walked out onto the water as well. “Before I begin ranting like that next time, remind me not to waste my time before you space out.” There was a smile on her face letting him know that she was saying that in the kindest way possible. They were friends, but she had forgotten about that little trait of his. “So, you really cannot fight in the water when you are standing on top of it, now can you?” She was still kind and patient with him, but it was a bit annoying that his attention span was so lacking. “I figure the best way to learn something is to attack it head on. However, if you are more comfortable going step by step then we can advance that way.” Oh yeah, she hadn’t been around people in a while.

Rhaim looked back down at the girl with no change to his expression. He wasn't sure what it was that she thought she needed to change, but he sure had no clue as to how he was supposed to notice when it happened. So far as he knew he hadn't really spaced out on anything important so it didn't count. The boy was even more confused though by her explanation that they needed to tackle something head on or take it step by step. The genin's body swayed slightly with the current, the rhythm soon became his key point of focus. His head cocked to the side, "Why go under the water if I can stand on the water? That's what chakra walking is for. If I go under I'm at a disadvantage."

There was a smile on her face as the child realized that trying to explain it was useless. It was funny, though his appearance had changed; Rhiam was truly the same as he had been when she met him two years ago. Her stance was non-hostile and calm as she tried to figure out why the boy had come to the river with her if not to practice what she had mentioned. Oh well, she was just glad to have other people around. “Very well then, what is it you would like to do then because it’s quite obvious that we both know how to walk on the water?” Tenma was obviously comfortable balancing with the current as there wasn’t much concentration needed for her to stand there or even when she moved about.

Rhaim studied the girl over in slightly confused curiosity. He looked back down at the water beneath him for a few moments to follow grasp what was going on. After the time he brought his gaze back up to Tenma and then back down to the water once again. This action was repeated slowly several times before the boy took a squatting stance on the water while looking back at the Fujiko, "But you trained to fight underwater. Why did you do that?"
The logic of what she had done was for the first time escaping the child. When it had been originally brought up he didn't think much of the why since it was an odd concept. If he had been quizzed on what it was that he expected to see it would have been a display of various water based jutsus. At any rate, he didn't feel like just giving up altogether. They had walked all of the way out there after all.

A little boy walks into view. He was dancing around in mountains on a path back to the village. He is wearing a brown fluffy hat and a white shirt and brown pants. His smile was from ear to ear. As he came closer to the village and the trees around him began to clear he stopped and looked up at the sky. Hello Kaa-chan its your little Jomei again. I was just letting you know i am done playing and i am on my way back to the village! He is fine if you were wondering.....not that i care....but i had alot of fun today! Ill talk to you soon ok? The girl listened to Rhiam, it was obvious that he didn’t get that trying to punch and kick and wrestle underwater created resistance that couldn’t be accomplished on land. So, it was strength and speed training without creating excess strain on joints. However, as she was about to explain this to him something caught her attention out of her peripheral vision. Fairly confident that her companion wouldn’t attack her with her attention drawn the girl turned her head slightly, a tiny gap between her lips as stared at the boy dancing through the mountains. Then, suddenly, he stopped and looked up at the sky as tears welled up in his eyes. What in the world was this kid doing?! From where she was, Tenma couldn’t see any marks that identified him as a ninja; which meant if he didn’t hustle back to the village the Uchiha would take care of him. Still confused she looked over at Rhiam, trying to figure out what to do with a tilt of her head. What was she supposed to say? The girl knew that Rhiam had probably seen the kid by this time, but it was just a matter of what in the world to do. Whether to help the kid home or two continue on and spar.

Jomei realized that he was being watched. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end. He tensed and looked over his shoulder. He sighed a sigh of relief as he saw the two kids fighting in the field. Shinobi. He wiped his eyes making sure they couldn't see his tears and ran over to the two shinobi. He noticed that they had features that labeled them as Konohagakure shinobi so he smiled. "Hi....Im Jomei! Could you please help me get home. I dont want the Uchiha to escort me home again. My dad would kill me. Then make me clean the puppets again." He gave them a sincere smile and put his hands in his pockets waiting for their response.

Rhaim followed Tenma's change in attention to that of the boy a small ways away. His expression of complete indifference didn't change however as the girl looked back at him, obviously seeking an answer. He gave out a short snort as he continued to squat on the water watching the other kid. Eventually the two were noticed and the unknown made his way over to the pair with a rather energetic greeting. The Nara made no attempts to change his stance, "I doubt your punishment would be in quite that order. What were you doing way out here? It's almost dark you know."
Given the village's current condition and the fact that random people wandering outside of the village proper was so highly frowned upon, the teen placed his hands together and focused a small portion of chakra to his mind. With no change in the appearance of the boy, who called himself Jomei, the genin relaxed his forearms back down onto his knees. With what little he knew about the new Fuuin system in the forest, it was highly unlikely that a kid that felt as weak as him was a threat, "Well?"
Genjutsu Kai (Genjutsu Release) The user attempts to break the chakra circulation flow in his body in order to see through a genjutsu. You can also use this technique on someone else. Cp cost: 10 Dice Rolls: 2 Rolls Damage: N/A Special: +your chakra mod + 2 per 10 ranks in Chakra Control to Will Save. The effect of this technique is stackable, that is if many ninja use it on one person all their bonuses are added.
