Still shaken, Acerola got up. She knew what she had to do next, but the shock of the vision left her empty. Not even the faces could creep her out now.
She saw the figure appear from the faces, and she even saw it attacking her, yet she did nothing.

Igny twirled down onto the crags of rock once more. The last time she'd gone down, it had been ... strange ... but she wanted to finish the job. There were still two more blessings to get.
The mist fell over her vision and Igny watched a vision. She'd betrayed them all, yet she didn't feel sorry. She knew she had to run though. They were coming.

The pain of the humanoid's attack brought Acerola back to her sense. She wasn't going to die now. She even thought about living and winning, just for that poor girl, and so she struck.

Acerola's mind was teetering between a state of despair and courage. This became obvious as seemed to be HITTING AND MISSING AND HITTING AND MISSING.

They were upon her. Igny felt hands, clawing at her. They were going to turn her in for her crimes. There was a strange exhilaration she felt as they approached her. A great joy in the risk- would she escape, or fall prey?
She fired her gun in all directions. She would escape!

One last hit, and the boss faded into the mist. Acerola wasn't sure of how much more she could take of this. Her mind seemed to be returning to normal though, bit by bit.

Acerola dragged herself down the next few platforms, aware of the limbs floating around her. She felt something watching her. It couldn't be the limbs, right? Limbs didn't have eyes. She didn't know anymore. She wanted to stop thinking. A scream. Was it hers? She didn't know anymore.

A few of them caught her from behind, grabbing and restraining her. She still got one fire of her gun in, but for now she was entrenched.

Not thinking was probably a bad idea. She tripped. Panic seized her, and she was lucky she didn't fall over the edge. A small bit of platform fell through the fog, and in no time, it wasn't visible. She laid there for a few more seconds, waiting for the sound from the bits to hit the bottom. It never came.

Igny broke free of their grasp, spinning on her feet and falling downwards. As she fell, she fired shots upward at the enemies, reveling in her free fall escape.

Finally, they were gone. All was silent as her feet slowly tapped onto a platform, sending her skirt upwards.
"You'll never catch me," she whispered. It was close now. She just had a little farther to go, she could feel it.
