Rath has also been busy/sick this past week.
Also, I've just been informed that lethe is handling a personal emergency, so boardgame may be on pause for a while.

Thanks for the good wishes. My mother had a "heart attack" while at work really early Wednesday morning so I've been with her at the hospital 90% time these past two days. (Thank god she works at a hospital. Although it annoys her to be this side of bed. lol) Crossing my fingers she gets to go home tomorrow. I hope to get things back to semi-normalcy by Sunday. If I don't get an update out by then I'm sorry. At least you'll know why.

Important things I forgot to put into the daily arena topic:
- your characters get 5exp for winning duels
- your characters gain WPN exp for each duel. Staves don't get exp for bonking, unfortunately. Stones don't have WPN levels, but feel free to keep track if you want to.
- getting +50 gold for each level higher your opponent is to you is temporary, and will be lowered down to +10 eventually. It's at +50 to commemorate the start of the daily arena.
- *Fixed something I mistyped about the gold you make. It's +10 gold for each level above level 1 that your opponent is, but it's (for now) +50 gold per level above your character's level that your opponent is.
Be sure to make the appropriate changes if you have already used the arena. I'll be finishing up tallying people's current WPN exp so that they can keep track, but feel free to use the arena in the meantime.

Hey, my wife is going into labor this morning. Please don't skip my turn, if it pops up . crying There is no wifi in the hospital, though I might be able to eek out a post on my phone if I can find a place with reception. However, I'm probably going to have other stuff on my mind. I imagine I will be back home by Monday so please give me at least that much time. I know team holly is quite gung ho with their posting. I don't mean potentially hold up the game but I really have been enjoying playing and I look forward to my turns. Thanks for everyone's understanding.

Just to let you know fences can't be attacked through with melee weapons at 1 space away. Bertrand almost made the same mistake. You'll have to go around the house to attack the mage.

It's been a bad week for boardgame so the turns have been lenient. A majority of the people involved have had or are still going through somethings that need their attention. I had a family medical emergency. Your wife had a baby. Mallow, Vika, and Tib were at MAGfest. Rath was sick. Oujay's computer caught on fire. Dylan is going through some stuff right now.
This is okay as long as I or someone else on one of the teams know what's up. We do what we need to do. Just don't make the rest worry about what will happen to the game.
