Asher smiled and nodded as she was whole again. "Of course. Throw anything you have at me. I can almost guarantee I'll avoid it." Dante didn't like how proud of herself she was, as he knew that his kind of abilities couldn't come much into play here. Speed if he was lucky, agility. But then Dante remembered that Asher could turn ethereal. He turned to Soflora quickly. "But she can also turn like, see through. And go through objects and things. If we use throwing items she'll just make it go straight through her." Asher laughed. "I'm glad you remembered that."

*Soflora nodded and whispered in his ear, "yes but not if i can get close enough." she whispered even lower just in case, "i have to look her int he eyes. It may not work on her much, but it will at least work for a secondor too, thats when you can get her." she backed up and smiled, "it will work if we can figure out how to get to that." She winked. She turned, "i didn't know any of that. Why did shortstraw not tell us that? What if we went aginst one and we didn't know that."

Asher shrugged. "Not all demons are the same. Likewise, we can all teleport. But not all of us an turn ethereal. Only the special ones that have been deemed worthy to be such twisted people to be honored with a place of a Daemon. Higher than normal Demons, we are. More abilities, too. You won't fight as many Daemons as Demons. We're less common." She brought her paw up to her nose and scratched her forehead. "I have to say, you're being awfully boring so far." Dante looked to Soflora then back to Asher, who had teleported further backwards again.

Soflora nodded, daemon then luckiliy is what they were facing. Becuse this wouldn't work on a demon, even though she didn't know the diffrence yet. She looked to donte, "GO!" She then quickly ran also but turned into a bat at the same time becuse she was smaller and harder to see up int he roofing. If asher didn't see her, then that made it possable for her to end up closer. Not to touch, but to use her forbiden ability. Something only a pure vampire could do.

Asher's eyes thinned as she monitored both of their movements. But she stayed put. To give them a better chance anyway. It would be unfair to put them in their place so soon. But if they got so cocky to make a move... wait, what was this that Soflora was doing? Asher knew she'd seen it at least once before.

*Soflora suddenly hide her aura, and let donte chases after her to make her move and teliport else where, and when she did soflora was going to be ready... she just needed asher to do it... she knew this would work.*

Dante suddenly appeared next to Asher, surprising her as she was so fixated on Soflora. Dante actually almost did it, almost touched Asher. But of course not. Asher teleported onto the side of one of the pillars and relaxed. That was a little close. Even Asher was making stupid human errors now. This is what she got for hanging around mortals so much. Dante stopped and grinned.

*When she teiliported onto the piller soflora was suddenly on the piller also with her hands and feet, like a spider stick tot he wall, another abilitys of the vampires, but her face was already in ashers, her eyes flashed. This was the leadendary control ability. Where vampires could mesmerize humans into doing whatever, ot thinking whatever or forgetting whatever the vampire wanted. It would work on asker becuse she was daemon, with emotions. but it wouldn't control her, just make her ppulse for a moments as, Finally donte touched her, and so did soflora at the same time being so close. Soflora laughed and dropped tot he ground and highfived donte, "HAHA we actully pilled it off!"

Asher yawned again and teleported to the ground. "Well done. Count me impressed." Dante scoffed and folded his arms over his chest proudly. "Too easy." Asher laughed at him. "I can almost guarantee that most other Daemons will have a more reluctance not to be touched. Things won't be so easy then. And also, what if you don't have Soflora with you when confronted with one as well? Then you'd be screwed. Also that ability Soflora used wouldn't work on normal Demons anyway. It's just because I have some kind of human-like emotions." She stretched her shoulders. "These are the kind of things that you're going to have to overcome when Shortstraw uses you more in missions."
Suddenly, there was a fast knock on the door back at home. Cyril was the first to put down his book and answer it, only to see Amelie there waiting impatiently. He stiffened instantly. Oh dear god. Amelie grinned once she saw Cyril. "Ah! Cute boy with glasses. You're Cyril, am I right?" Cyril gulped and nodded. "Mrs Yokai.. what're ya' doin' here? I'm not so sure Ki would like it all tha' much tha' you're here." Amelie flapped her hands and let herself inside. "Never mind her little hissy fits. I know tricks to calm her down." Cyril was curious for a second, then scalded himself at the thought. "Did ya' come to see her, Mrs Yokai?" Amelie groaned at the name. "Call me Amelie for chris'sake. I'm not some old hag." Cyril was very tempted to make a witty comment. "Where is the girl? I need to speak with her." Cyril stood in the way of the stairs. "She's upstairs. Buh sleepin' with Shortstraw." Amelie smirked as she saw Cyril's hesitation. "Has something happened?" Cyril's eyes widened slightly. "No! Nothin'. They're both fine n'dandy." Amelie started to shove past him. "Then I see no reason to not go see her."

*Suddenly there was two large red eyes that appeard as the house when dark, "You will not walk in here like you own it... dare continue and i will imprizen you and your soul..." paradioa warned. He knew keria and her mother didn't get along well, and being the cercumstances later, he didn't want to take any chanses, as the room lightened alittle a dark shadow int he same of a human appeared with it's arms crossed infront of amiele in the way for her to pass. His read eyes squinted as if dareing. But everyone knew paradioa was always seriouse.
Meanwhile Soflora nodded, "that my be true Ms Asher. But as shortstraw tought us we are a team. And when the time comes when we are to work alone it will have to come to us. He taught us that quick thinking can change the tide to any battle." She nodded as the smart one. Meanwhile she grinned, "so whats the next test then? That one was fun."

Amelie huffed. "Oh perfect." Cyril finally relaxed a little. Now she wouldn't be able to get past, this was good. Amelie just rubbed her temple and sighed. "Aren't you even going to let me say anything to her? She's my child for gods sake. I'm not always up to no good." Cyril started chuckling in the background and Amelie turned to shoot a dagger narrowly missing his face. That put him in his place, for sure.
Asher sighed and looked to the wall. "Give me a little time to think. It takes some preperation to do each of these little trials." Dante grinned. "Well we're gonna get through whatever you have easy." Asher gave Dante a look and licked her muzzle. "In that case..." She smirked. "Why don't we just break all the boundaries." Asher suddely shifted into her full demon form, black acid spilling out of her rotting skull for a face and shoulderblades way hunched over her head. "You ready, kids?"

*Ameile rased off the ground, no control really over where she was hgoing. "Even so you will not walk in to my mistresses home like you can do as you wish.... and will not threaten her slumber... leave this place and await for her to awaken, or better be more courdious when one opens the door..." he tossed her over the stairs to the floor next to the front door as she slid up aginst it. He didn't like ameile himself, he had always wanted to see what would happen if he took her shadow... but her person stuff was not going to get in the way of his judgment. "No, is no..." he hissed as he appeared infornt of her next to Cyril almost.
Meanwhile soflora jumped, "AHHHH what the heck is that! Thats not cute kitty?!" She gulped and stood closer to donte, "whats.... the test?"

Amelie coughed as she picked herself up and brushed herself off. "Well someone has a quick temper." She spat. "He might be a problem." Cyril looked to Amelie curiously, and suddenly the door to the main bedroom opened. Kiera stood at the top of the stairs, rubbing her eyes in.. not much clothing. "Who the ******** woke me up?" She said angrily. Of course, the one time she actually gets woken up by noise. And it had to be Amelie on the receiving end. Maybe she should have come at a different time. Cyril coughed awkwardly and fled into the living room. No way was he getting mixed up in this.
Asher's long thin tongue slurped up some of the black acid before she cocked her head at them both. Dante was practically hiding behind Soflora. "I don't know, just make it go away." Asher bellowed a laugh and sat down as her spiny tail reached up to Dante's face and stroked his cheek. He almost squealed. "Now our full demon forms are where we are most formidable. And the demons first line of defense is to intimidate our opponents. Right now you're not doing so well against dealing with the first hurdle."

*Paradioa gave a long shie, almost like a smteamed hiss at ameile. He turned and looked to keria, "she was just leaving misssstresss..." He replied. He knew it was alittle too late, he should have just eatten ameile, that would have been quicker, and less niosy. though he was supprized keria woke up at all.
Meanwhile Soflora was shaking alittle and looked to Donte, "okay... um... just picter a way to make it funny... thats what i do when i see something scary..." she replied with her vioce crackling up. Asher really got the two this time. She didn't know how anyone couldn't be scared of whatever that was... that was not the kitty she thought asher to be. She then gulped, and then suddenly her arm went down on ashers tail, the hidden blade drawn out, "donte we... we can't give in that easily..." she replied as she stepped back. Now that the tail was away form donte. He was alot younger then her. she was 118, he was like three or four. BIG diffrence. So she knew she needed to try and be the older of the too, but she was scared.

Amelie looked up to Kiera curiously and Kiera stared back with a look that said Death Death Death. "I'm sure she was." Kiera croaked. Amelie's eyes flickered for a second, then she inhaled deeply. "You're not looking so good, dear." Kiera slowly stepped down the stairs. "What do you care?" Amelie grinned. "I'm your mother, aren't I?" Kiera was getting uncomfortably close. "And yet you never cared before." Amelie took it up a notch. "So that back of yours-" Amelie could have sworn she heard Kiera growl as she brought her hand tight against her windpipe. "There's no way you could have known about that without being in contact with River." Amelie smiled to cover up the choking. "You.. haven't lost your touch.. at least."
Dante still cowered. "But I haven't seen anything like this before!" Asher sighed. "Still not doing well." Asher swept her tail back behind her and stood up again, towering over them with the acid getting threateningly close. "You'll need to overcome the fear of looks. I can't help you with how you do it. This is something you need to figure out with for yourself. If you get this, you can encounter any demon. No matter how terrifying."
