" You seemed to be having a jolly good time on your own who am I to impose? It's not like I'm your date or anything." Yeah...Titus still didn't get it. As Hel made her retreated Titus huffed a sigh. " You guys are a real drag." He squeezed Riyo's hand tightly and pulled her forward before leaning back and trying to elbow Mot to let him go. " Fine you want me to stick around let's dance, Princess." Who cared that it was a slow song.....

That pinkish hue that lit up her cheeks didn't get past him. It amused him in a way. Another thing he noticed was that she was moving along with him with greater ease than what he had recalled in the previous year. A soft and subtle smile touched his lips. A smile that pretty much almost no one but Mitsu had seen before. "Aishiteru mo," Shun said in turn. Nothing more needed to be said, he felt. Right now, there really wasn't anything else that mattered. Just her.

Those words seemed to echo in his head, almost perfectly word for word the same words that Xiu had said to him a few Octobers back. For a second he turned away from the mermaid, letting his eyes move to the sky, staring up at the moon with a bittersweet grin pulling at his lips. "Hey, that sounds like a song you can dance to," he said finally, turning back to her with a tiny smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "Let's go grab your dance. You've got a date to get back to, right?"

Any ol' time, darlin'. As Lizzy became a separate entity again with the return of a more dance-friendly tune, Levi tried to reassure her everything was fine. Uh-oh, her opponent deflection didn't stand. More description was being asked of the ghoul. Biting at her lower lip, Levi's eyes shifted side to side, considering things again. 1) Name's Westus - too specific 2) Demon third year with horns and green eyes - still too specific 3) Got red (slightly pink) hair - even then too specific 2) He's a boil - ... Uh... well, he's... Her scanning halted when she came across what was at the other end of the table behind Lizzy. West's features were easily recognizable as he collected the punch in cup. On the one hand, the tatzel wished for him to see her, on the other, to be invisible while with Lizzy. No, she should try to warn him. Waiting for his eyes to shift over to hers while she stared overhead of Lizzy awkwardly... West!... psssst! West!!Begin mind meld.

Amphi stiffened as he looked away from her, something indescribable on his face. When he looked down, His smile wan't the same.
She didn't understand. Did she say something wrong?
"I..." She hesitated, "Roch...?" She flushed as she thought of Thana. Ah, He had said that she was HIS date and it was rude to keep him waiting. But at least...."Thank you for taking your time....to dance with me?" She reached out again...touching his arm and letting her hand fall away. "It makes me happy that you are...." She added with a smile, one that was genuine and sincere at that. She couldn't lie after all.

Riyo's ears folded back against her head as Titus connected the dots. He really hadn't... She had actually...
Oh.
The ghoul's grip loosened on his hand, even as he grabbed it. She felt stupid. Insides churned with a foul mixture of disgust in herself and bitter snippets of thoughts to the past. To misconstruing something so simple.
Reaching up with her free hand as Titus yanked her forward, the ghoul pulled down her mask and allowed her face to become neutral. Stupid ghoul. Stupid, shameful ghoul. She was getting what she wanted now. So why couldn't she just... Enjoy it?
"Okay.." Was all she could think to say.

Bilious so sorry for replying so late. ;;
"What do you call this dance?" She asked when the dance was over, there seemed to be a good bit of twirling and shaking going on in that one. She wasn't really sure where the shaking came from but hey, she went with it. After all it was okay to let loose once in a while.--- Willow had actually started on a drink for Heidla, "Booberry and Grapes." She said, "You might like that, it shouldn't be too strong of a taste."
Kiwi mentioned something about studying the machine and then... and then Willow noticed that there was a rather large crowd gathering, she'd grabbed a drink and was in the process of starting to take a sip but stopped ears lowering a bit, she knew a few of those around here, but the majority she didn't....
It was turning into a bit of a crowd. There was a few moments of blank staring when someone said something about kiwi, "Uh... yes, yes he is."
Then Fai spoke about tearing apart the smoothie machine. Willow's eyes widened as she gave a nervous chuckle, the song changing, "Fai, would you honnor me with a dance?" She asked trying to distract the famine horseman from tearing things apart.
Pausing to whisper to Kiwi and Fai, "I don't think the school would approve of a broken slushie machine. I can see if I can procure one from the staff after prom if you guys give me time."
She then smiled, "That is if no one minds I steal Fai here for a dance?"

Hell, he'd known this would happen, he figured as he led her back into the dance. He'd seen it coming, he'd tried to avoid it, and wham, bam, you got slammed, boil. He hardly heard her as he led her onto the dance floor, ignoring the whole murder thing or whatever was going on, and pulled her into his arms like Danny had made him hold her for that one slow dance. This was self inflicted abuse. He had no one but himself to blame. Time to get over it and on with your life, he told himself, even as impossible as that was in their situation. It'd be over soon. Prom, that was.

Hel was safe now, but he didn't lie leaving her after something like that. However, he did not like the idea of leaving Riyo with Titus at all. The happiness she had felt drained from her face, using the mask to hide her shame. That did not sit well with the cowboil at all. He grunted lightly as Titus jerked his arm back. Rubbing his ribs he levelled a gaze at Riyo. "Don't settle for that, Riyo. He's the dirt beneath your nails." He insisted, gicing her a very dead serious look. Almost insisting she do better. He managed a smile. "Let's dance again sometime." His gaze hardened on Titus, pushing his own mask back down before smacking the demon upside the head. "Hel.."

" You're welcome", smiled Heidla. " I do not mind. And thank you for a drink, it's a fair exchange". What she referred to, partners or drinks, was left unknown: she gave no explanation. The crowd was gathering around, and people were discussing something in hushed voices. Heidla's eyes widened a bit, and she made a couple of steps in the direction of the commotion, "I will be back in a moment", she muttered absent-mindedly.

Amphi watched her friend as he led her to the dance floor, his arms wrapping around her in a awkward embrace. Ah....this was a more um....closer...ah...
"Roch...." She looked up at the boil, her hands resting on his chest as they danced around. Her heartbeat pounded furiously as she bit her lip, letting him lead. A awkward silence settled over them as they danced and she listened to the song.
Fitting...she briefly mused before flushing. She hummed along with the melody as she danced. She was happy...but she felt a little sad too at the same time. And she didn't even know why.

 She was so much smaller than him, and yet she somehow felt just as strong as he was. Physically, perhaps not as much (not that he could say he was very strong in that sense either) - but her mind was strong and her heart, though fragile at times, was something she guarded so carefully. Lifen was his best friend, and Mengyao would protect her for as long as he could.
Her hand slid from his shoulder to his chest - an easier thing to reach, considering the difference in their heights, and Mengyao felt his lips curve upwards in a gentle smirk. His own fingers pressed into her back a little more, drawing her towards him, keeping Lifen safe within the circle of his arms, away from the students that surrounded them.
A very undignified snort escaped his lips. "You were taller, yes - the key word being were. I seem to recall meeting my growth spurt quite quickly after that time, and then I am where I am now - and I have to say, it's quite a good height."
She was looking up at him, her gaze twinkling, and Mengyao felt something in his chest constrict, something he couldn't quite identify. The hand holding hers slipped from her fingers and moved to touch her face, slowly sliding his hand against the curve where her jaw slid into her throat, tilting her head up.
"I will never leave you," he said quietly.

" Asshat, ********, my what charming nicknames I have as of late." The smack to the head jostled Titus a little but did little to hurt him. Helmet of horns after all. He flipped the bird in Mot's direction before he turned back to Riyo, those cold white eyes boring into her. Seeing the joy all but sucked out of his feline companion's face Titus smirked dragging her forward all but ignoring Mot's pep talk for her to find someone else. She had agreed to come with him after all and she knew he was no gentleman. In the end Riyo only had herself to blame. With only a few short strides Titus had led Riyo onto the dance floor and loosened his hold on her hand just enough to shift it into a different position, his other hand resting on her hip as he led them in a dance. " There, happy now?" Titus sure the hell hoped so.

Ooh, so close to the table and— Hel raised a fist as her arm was grabbed, thinking it could be Titus again and whipped around to face whoever grabbed her arm and—Blinked in surprise. “… Ah…Mot.” She lowered her fist immediately, and her lips pulled up a bit into a quirky smile. “… Rather impressive there, cowboil.” In regards to being so stern to Titus. “ I knew you had it in you.” She hooked her arm with his, and then started to drag him to the table for her toted punch cup.
