"You make that sound as if I could give birth, dearie. I hope this day apart hasn't made you forget what gender I am." Nikolai noted with amusement in his half-asleep eyes. He looked at the man when he shivered slightly and stood up. "Why don't you head on to bed, dearie? It's been a long day for both of us and being under my wondrous comforters is just what we need. I'll bring you some hot chocolate. It's pre-made so even I can make it." he laughed lightly as he headed into the kitchen.

Nikolai was biting his lip and wincing at the sight from inside the microwave when Leon's voice made him jump. Grace left him as he spastically covered Leon's view of the microwave. "Ah, I'm fine, dearie, just, er... figuring a few things out." he laughed nervously. A trail of smoke came out of the machine's opening.
Inside the machine was a cup of hot chocolate, if you could call it that. There was too little milk and far too much powder, and because of that the heat became too much and literally lit it on fire.

Hearing the concern in Leon's tone, Nikolai slumped in his stance and looked away shamefully. "I just... didn't want to mess up this time." he mumbled sorrowfully as tears filled his guilty eyes. After all that talk he gave, too!

It took a great deal of explaining and patience, but Nikolai was finally able to understand Leon's every explanation and answer to his many questions. After far longer than it should've taken, Nikolai successfully made one cup of hot chocolate.
"I finally did it." he said proudly as he gazed at the adequate drink. He looked at Leon happily. "Let's drink it together in bed, dearie."

"Ah, I must text Patty about this. She'll be oh-so overjoyed." Nikolai chimed as he continued his ascent. He was far too happy about making this correctly, even he couldn't understand why.
Once inside the store, the Sin looked over at Leon and observed the chocolate powder covering his entire being. "Do you need a shower, dearie?" he mused.

"Just don't make me wait too long." purred the smaller man as he sat on the bed and waited. He tilted his head lightly to get a better angle of sight into the restroom, smiling to himself when he was able to see Leon unchanging. He missed that body, even if he'd been away from it for nearly a day. It was so strong yet gentle, so perfect, so much different then... Nikolai shuddered and pulled his wrists up, pulling the sleeves back enough to show a bruise from the chains that wrapped around him. Around his neck were also burn marks in the shape of crosses, and similar burns covered his entire body. Until they went away he wouldn't be as strong as he normally is. Hopefully nobody else would try to attack them in the near future.

"Yes. I've spent so many nights too tired to change clothes or not wearing any clothes at all that I'm not sure I have any sleeping clothes. Ironic, wouldn't you agree?" Nikolai chuckled as he curled underneath the comforter. "Perhaps I should just sleep in the nude. What do you think of that, darling?" he asked, though he was seriously considering it. Not now, of course, but in the future.
