"Are those two on a date?" he asked, going into his protective older brother mode. However, before he could go over and say or do anything, Harold would make an abrupt entrance as well. "What the hell?" Atticus immediately stood up from his seat and tried to make his way over to where they were, "Shira, be prepared to evacuate the people here." Arriving at the booth, Atticus heard what Harold had to say. "Harold, what is the meaning of this? Are you working with the Blakwings?" ✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾

Leo Devellis  "Hold.... That thought....." While the emotional comprehension of the situation was completely unknown to him, he still saw this as something... A chance. A chance to put himself on the radar. A chance to get a partner. A chance to get back in action. Leo sat to the side watching while black feathers filled the underneath of his table. If things got active enough, he would step in, and learn just exactly what was going on... He snapped a black line onto his table as a few feathers slid lines across the floor like shadows, attaching to random objects without notice of others. Preparation was key, as this didn't look like someone who would go down easily.... Blackwings... Ironic, hopefully they wouldn't mistakes his feathers as their calling card. Some men just want to see the world burn... And I just want to show them. Never again... Will I be bound in chains... Harold growled at Mirai's response, though he had expected just as much from her. "You don't have a choice," he told her, still concentrating on Texas. His attention quickly snapped to Atticus when he heard his voice. What was he doing here? This was looking like a bad idea now, but he really had no choice to proceed. He could do this, though it would obviously be harder. "With?" He asked Atticus rhetorically. "No. I'm using them. It's what I do after all. If they want this ignorant child in return for what I want, so what?" Texas glared up at Harold, the strength of his flames increasing. Texas moved around Mirai, standing next to her. "I'm not going anywhere with you," he told Harold, a determined look in his eyes. For the time being, neither of them noticed Leo or his shadowy feathers.

Atticus asked as he noticed the black feathers that were around, but right now he did not seem to worried about them. As Texas moved and stood next to Mirai, Atticus would move and stand in front of both them, sort of like a shield. "Harold, I'm not going to et you do this. The Next Shinigami ◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆••• Seeing that Atticus seemed ready to fight Harold, Shira got ready for what would possibly come. Texas was supposed to die if Harold got him. How would Mirai handle that? In the other timeline they were sent to, it didn't seem like the future Mirai knew Texas that much unlike this time where they were close. She gave a worried look towards the two before looking towards Atticus to see what he would do. •••◆━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━◆

"Don't say another word." he said. "I don't care how powerful you think you are or how strong your feelings are for him. I won't let you throw your life away for Texas, that will never happen as long as I am alive. Your are the meister and he is he weapon, if he can't protect you then you will just have to leave him behind. I will not entrust my sister's well being to someone so weak." Atticus told Mira, scolding her for wanting to go in Texas' place. The weird thing is, the words he spoke were contradicting his own relationship with Shira, both had put their lives on the line for one another, but Atticus seems to have let his brotherly instincts get the best of him. ✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾✾

Atticus was done speaking to Mirai, turning back to face Harold he would sigh, "Just remain there and be quiet. As Kai continued eating her french fry mountain she heard a ruckus...or a brouhaha...or whatever you would like to call it going on. She turned in her seat and looked over. "Is there a problem Miss Shira?" she asked. Technically, Kai was like a bodyguard at times since she worked under Lord Death making protecting future and potential successors safe.

It should be sorted out soon though..." she said. Hopefully Atticus and Emma would be able to prevent something from occurring. Perfect. It was unlike Atticus to let his guard down, but that was what caring about people did to you. Stupid. He took one step forward and then slammed his palm straight towards the back of Atticus's neck, aiming to knock him out cold.

Kai narrowed her eyes at the others. "Then I'll be on stand by...just in case. If anything happens and your dad and/or your gramps find out I was here the whole time they will KILL me." she told Shira. Before sliding down back into her seat she gave a classic "got my eyes on you" signal to them. "If you plan to fight physically do it outside." she reminded them.
